Update They called me today , but sadly it cost £60 to cancel my policy. So my 2 stars remain . £30 is ok but not £60

Quick and easy to setup a new policy. Policy included a number of extras as part of the policy that are normally extras like key care. Website is easy to navigate and obtain the information you need. All in all good value insurance that works

I wanted to cancel the policy with half an hour of taking it out and I was charged £25! Luckily i received a call from a customer services representative to discuss my review and the fee was waived as a good will gesture. Can't complain about that!

Competitive, but ...
Car insurance is competitive.
Other than for making a claim, the only way to contact this business is via a chatbot. Like most chatbots, this one opens with a few set questions which do not suit the purpose of the inquiry. So you have to wait for the chatbot question, "have we answered your inquiry?" When you say No you are directed to a chatbot agent.
It then seems to be impossible to scroll text within the two-line letterbox. So you can't check your typing before Send.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I bought insurance in June, received no documents, tried to register, no policy number, requested password reset - nothing!!
There is no number to call or the chat can't be used either UNLESS YOU CAN LOGIN , avoid at all costs.
I am due to pick up a new car which I may no lose because I can't speak to this insurance. NUTSHELL ARE NOT FIT TO BE AN INSURER
Still not resolved, just had to leave car showroom without car, I will be passing the cost to Nutshell . Are you going to phone or just ignore until tomorrow? be warned everyone !!!!!!!!!!

I’m really sorry to hear about the trouble you had when changing your vehicle and the frustration caused by the cancellation fee.
I completely understand how disappointing it must have been — especially since you wanted to stay with us and your new Jaecoo could be insured elsewhere without any issues. We always aim to make things as smooth as possible when customers change cars, so I appreciate you taking the time to let us know what happened.
Unfortunately, in some cases our underwriting criteria may not allow us to cover certain makes or models, and I realise this can be inconvenient. That said, I can absolutely see why it feels unfair to have been charged when the change wasn’t your fault. I have tried 15 times to get through via live chat. Initially it told me they weren't open, even though it was during opening hours, then it became another automated message telling me to try again. I have, I did, and I'm still without help and I guarantee I'll be accused of not responding.

Difficulty contacting company but issue resolved quickly when they did phone
Took out a policy and was emailed instructions to register for an acvount. However i was unable to fo this as it didn't recognise my details.
Tried emailing company but no response at first so had no idea how to continue as no phone number available.
Have since had an email and phone call from company and very helpful assistant was able to access my account and see that I had made a typo with my Dob on the policy. Now amended and able to register without a problem.
