Hume band inaccurate
I purchased the Hume band to go with my Hume band. It is supposed yo track activity , monitor sleep, stress, and heart rate. It does none of these.
My Apple Watch records all of these. The Hume band records 0 energy used after a HIIT workout.
After multiple emails over the course of two months I get the same response. Reset the app etc. and we are sorry. We are bumping this up to another department.
The app takes all the information from a body comp scale and comes back with a health score which is inaccurate because of the spurious data from the band.
The band doesn’t work
The band doesn’t work. Does not track activity and does not pull data through from Apple Heath. I was lucky, I got a full refund for my band and they told me to keep it anyway, which was fine. That said with technical questions I got extremely sporadic customer service, I have a feeling that they are snowed under with issues and can’t cope. The more they sell the worse the issues get. Concept is great but the band is just not ready. I was getting low scores for health and metabolic momentum because I didnt sleep enough and I didn’t do enough activity. I sleep 8 hours a night and go to the gym and do a 1000 calorie session 3 times a week and do 2 x 6 mile walks per week and yet the app thought I lived a sedentary lifestyle. It kept advising me to sleep more and be more active. Also it said that my high energy period was from 10pm to 6am and that I should rest from 6am to 12pm. I don’t quite think it’s a con job but it’s certainly rubbish so I’ve thrown it in the bin.
Bands didn’t work from the get-go
Bands didn’t work from the get-go. Reached out to customer service multiple times takes days for them to get back to you. When they got back to me, they asked me to send them pictures comparing my Apple health to their tracker. They then told me that sinking active calories wasn’t working and they’re aware of it but they’re working on a fix.. I asked to return it and they said yes, but because there was nothing wrong that they weren’t trying to fix. I would have to pay the shipping. Stay far away from this company.

The first band quit working in less than two months. Prior to that, it had poor readings, inaccurate and inconsistent. Battery life was less than marketed but that’s normal for virtually all electronics. So, I reported issue with band. Customer service had me send pictures of charger plugged in, pictures of other devices plugged in at the same time to prove that the charging base wasn’t defective, and they sent me out a replacement band after 3 weeks.
New band arrived yesterday. Charges. Does not connect to phone or app. I’ve logged out of the ‘Plus Membership’ (paid for annual) deleted app off phone, reinstalled logged in and still nothing. The device is turned on, if the lights are actually working correctly.
Waiting on customer service to respond now, again. They usually get back after 4-6 days.
Two stars, because they’ve actually tried to resolve the issues. If it were just a device review it would be AVOID THIS DEVICE!!!!
I’d say it’s overpriced but at this point I wouldn’t use this even if it were free. I’ll gladly pay for something that actually works. This is turning into a waste of TIME as well as money. And I cannot get my time back. I’m even beginning to suspect any positive reviews might not be entirely ‘independent’.

Horrible
Horrible. I purchased five bands (one for myself and others were for friends) and so far, of the three that are being used, there are issues with every single one.
Battery only lasts a few days and there are nothing but issues with not only the band, but the app as well.
Readings often don’t even make sense and we keep getting messages that the band is disconnected even though it is fully charged and snug on wrist.
For myself, I weigh every morning with the Hume BodyPod but at main page the app shows that I’ve not weighed myself. However, if I go into the body section, it shows my current weight.
I’ve had to uninstall app several times over the three weeks I’ve had it, but glitches are still there and too numerous to list.
One of my friends can’t even get hers to work! I think this thing was released before they worked out glitches and I regret spending so much only to have it be a big headache.
Worst purchase ever and a real regret.

I am so sorry i made this purchase. Battery only lasts 2-3 days and went dead with no warning. Sleep tracker is terrible. I use a CPAP so I know how long I sleep and the band is never accurate sometimes telling me i only sleep 1 hour when I have been asleep for 7 and the Apple Watch confirms that. Customer survive is terrible. No live person and takes at least 48 hours to get any kind of reply and most do not solve the problem. I have sent two emails asking to return for a refund with no response and now the 30 return window is closed.

Terrible accuracy of both activity and sleep of Hume Band, it actually worsen my sleep since I was stressed from the results, Garmin gavw mw score of 97 and Hume Band indicated that I slept 2 hours. This band is the biggest dissapointment not to mentioned I paid 100 eur for the sibscription I am not using
Do not buy - avoid

My metabolic age is totally different to the equivalent machine at the gym. Customer service ignores my request for a full refund of both the band and subscription so I can buy something else that actually works. Avoid completely, you will be wasting your time and money with this hopeless device.

Fell for the hype -avoid at your peril
Fell for the hype - big mistake!
Brought the scale first. Went well and had no issues. Purchased the band and it was quite possibly the worst device and customer service I have ever encountered. The band took ages to connect and when it did it failed to register my sleep. Stats were all thrown out. Told to wear the band on the inside of wrist and that still didn't work. The band is a really cheap piece of tat so I got a leather watch strap and wore the device on the inside of my wrist. Still didn't work. Customer services initially responded quickly but then taking a week or more to respond as I tried to make it work. Now they dont even respond so i have gone to my bank to recover the monies. One of the reviews i read said Hume ran a diagnostic on the device to find out the issue. Over 10 comms with Hume and not once was this offered therefore i can only conclude they dont/cant offer this to troubleshoot. Frankly I doubt the validity of all the reviews on their site. There is no balance which I should have seen as a red flag. They told me to return it but i had to pay even though clearly it was faulty! The app wouldn't register when I signed up for the insights either. So sub standard device, band, customer service and app. The scale is good but as I can't connect it to another band it's kind of useless and too late to return. Avoid at all costs.
A big disappointment
A big disappointment. The band does not synchronise. Customer service is non-existent. I am waiting for a response from Hume because I want to return the product. They told me I had to pay for shipping, which I will not do, and I will exercise my rights. The sale seems like a scam because only an untrustworthy company would behave this way.
I have seen several comments on this forum saying the same thing. It is a shame that I did not see this pattern of behaviour from the company before making the purchase.
Please, do not buy this product. You will lose your money.

Battery life is 2days at best. The accuracy of the sleep app is not good. For the money try something else. I have been using the band for the last several months and really get nothing out of it. Feel like i wasted my money
Biggest disappointment ever and a huge waste of money
I purchased the Hume band 3 months ago with high expectations after reading up about it and I was so excited to see what it could do. However I was very disappointed because after about 3 weeks of it not picking my activity/exercise and countless emails to customer services and trouble shooting (even though I have an Apple Watch), I read that the Hume scale would fix it, so I invested even more money in the scale (Stupid mistake). Although, this did fix the problem, and it started tracking activity from my Apple Watch, it didn’t register everything. I exercise 3 times a week but the band always said my activity was low. This week for example it says 1/100 and that I had a complete lack of exercise! I can guarantee I did plenty of exercise! The app takes ages to load and when it does it’s disappointing each time to see that it has me as living a sedentary life and doing no exercise. I have a 4 yr old that I am constantly running around after, I have a full time job and exercise regularly but according to the Hume band I lay in bed all day, because of that the report it generates always gives me low rating. Buying the band and then the scale has been the biggest waste of money ever, not to mention the annual Hume subscription fee. I gave it 3 months to see if it improved but it’s shockingly bad. It’s a complete rip off. Save yourself the money - it’s useless. I’ll be putting mine the bin.
They dont care if it works or not
I ordered the band and the scale. The band Arrived as a dud, never being able to even power on, instead I receive 3 flashing colored dots. I reached out to customer service and they responded asking for a video and gave some tips. I recorded two videos, uploaded them to YouTube and attached the links. No response. 4 days later, I email asking for an update, no response.
The 5th day I emailed a new email asking for them to pay attention to my request for help...no response.
Day 7....i give up. Hume doesn't care about their product working or not.
Faulty
Band says 100% battery on the app but the band is not working. No light on the sensor and no data being sent app. Trying for a refund

The band does not sink with the app, and everytime you click on the app it asks to re pair the band. no data is displayed.
Customer service now have turned off live chat, i presume with the amount of complaints they are having. I wouldn't mind if the band was cheap.
You now have to wait 2-3 days for a response from Hume Band, which is terrible customer service. I would advise anyone thinking of buying one of these, look for an alternative as these are pretty useless combined with poor custmer service.
Bad data collection = nonsense reports
The band is useless, steps - out by a a 70%, sleep data very hit and miss, doesn't recognise workouts properly unless it's pure cardio and the reports are pretty much useless unless you are going to pay for the subscription, but then, how good are they if they are generated with bad data?
We have the scales as well, they are OK, but you will get annoyed stepping on and off as they never read the first time.
Returned for a refund.
