I just found out when my MacBook Pro went obsolete. Apple's dealership in Austin TX sold me an old MacBook Pro in 2016. The salesmen said it was new when it was 4 years old already Mid 2012... See more

DO NOT DO 26.1 update!!!!!!
Update 26.1
This has destroyed the phone it’s unrecognisable. Messages. Layout. App colours. App sizing. Stupid glass boxes. I cannot stand it.
This isn’t just a change to get used to. After 20 years I think this is me parting way with Apple.
Apple as usual BLOCK iOS step back. I cannot fix this. I can’t go back, I can’t get it off.
I can’t cope with the brightness. The layout. Learning how to use the phone all over again for a inferior layout,
I contacted support who told me “tough” raise it and the developers may consider it in future updates”
It’s not good enough. It’s not right.
It’s MY PHONE WHY DO APPLE DECIDE????
I don’t want this. I can’t cope with it. It’s horrible.
There is something wrong with management who signed this idiots design off and used it. Terrible. And I know I won’t be the last to complain.
Literally the worst customer service…
Literally the worst customer service ever over the phone and the people I spoke with were so rude. They do not care about people that spend money with the company all they care about is making their money.
Apple support slightly less help than a stone
Apple support. Less technical knowledge than a rock.
I was offered a 90-day free trial of…
I was offered a 90-day free trial of AirNav through the App Store. The offer clearly stated £0.00 now and £24.99 per year after, if not cancelled before the end of the trial. I even have a screenshot taken while it was processing, showing the “90 day free trial”
Despite this, Apple immediately took the £24.99 from my account.
I contacted Apple Support straight away, expecting a simple refund, especially since the charge clearly went through in error. Instead, I received the following response:
“We reviewed your claim and your purchase does not meet the conditions for a refund.”
This is completely unacceptable. When a company advertises something as free for 90 days, then takes the money instantly, that is misleading. And refusing to return it, even with proof, is disgraceful customer service.
I’ve been a loyal Apple customer for years, but this has pushed me too far. I will not spend another penny on an Apple product until this is resolved.
To make matters worse, my current iPhone 16 Pro Max has a shockingly poor camera, especially compared to a friend’s Samsung S24 Ultra, the zoom and clarity on that phone genuinely embarrass my iPhone. The idea that Apple still leads in cameras is a myth.
At this point, unless Apple refunds my money and sorts out this mess, my next phone will be the Samsung S26 Ultra. I’m tired of this.

Tried to download iceblock but was taken out of the App Store. Be on the right side of history!
I have been a long time (20+ years)…
I have been a long time (20+ years) customer of Apple and they have sucked me into their ecosystem with all the devices and subscriptions. This most recent interaction and information received from a supervisor has really given me lost hope and where we are headed as a society. I provided concrete evidence directly from the vendor providing approval for refund only for Apple to reject it. Today I got a taste of what we will be dealing with in the future. I was told Ai made the decision. So now common sense is being thrown out the window by these giant companies and machines are making the decisions. F you Apple this is what I get for decades of loyalty.
Vergy good iphone
Service is so poor
Apple allows third person parties to access your bank account without your permission
It’s most concerning that Apple will allow third-party users access into your bank account without your permission and they think it’s OK. I asked for a refund twice. They denied it and closed the request.
There’s a longer story than this… I made purchases through the third-party through my credit card. On the third purchase, my credit card company became concerned that it was a scam so they temporarily blocked my account and texted me immediately requesting my response by typing a Y if I was making these purchases. I responded immediately within a minute. Y. But the third person party couldn’t wait or didn’t bother to contact me and immediately went into my bank account and withdrew the funds instead of denying my purchase or contacting me or waiting one minute because that’s how long it took for the credit card inst. To contact me and for me to reply and for them to send a text saying that my card was now unblocked and the purchase could be fulfilled.
When I contacted the third person party, they didn’t care they didn’t respond. They got their money. When I contacted Apple, they said oh that’s OK. It’s allowed.
Buyer beware. And watch your credit cards and bank accounts with Apple. Will allow anyone to access any account associated with them and turn a blind eye.
Servicio al cliente pésimo.
Why is it that customer service is so poor? Barcelona Passeig de Gracia, the customer service staff need to learn how to speak to people and not just bark at them. Poor language used, tonally deaf, inept at actually diffusing a difficult situation. I left the store deciding not to buy an iPhone 17. not based on the product, simply because the 3 people I dealt with were exceptionally unhelpful and rude.
DONT BUY GIFT CARDS
I have been buying Apple Gift Cards for years. I bought one and the redeem code half is missing. i filed a claim 5 days ago. the gift card was for 500.00. i still haven’t heard back. you would think they could take care of thier customers better. i will never buy Apple again. DONT BUY GIFT CARDS!
I bought a new MacBook Air
I bought a new MacBook Air. It's a good laptop, but it gives me headaches and eye pain. I started reading information online. It turns out this is a common problem. Many people with sensitive eyes suffer from it. And Apple is doing nothing about it!
Not a worthwhile company - do not value their customers
Such a disappointing company cannot justify paying £700 for a repair which would cost £80 with apple care
Note I missed my Apple renewal due to a sudden bereavement and they still refused to allow me to roll my Apple care
Will definitely be boycotting Apple when I next upgrade my devices goodbye Apple after being a customer for 15 years!
Disappointing AppleCare+ experience after nearly 20 years of loyalty
I’ve been with Apple literally since the first iPhone came out in 2007 – almost 20 years now. My house is basically an Apple museum: every iPhone generation, multiple iPads, MacBook Pros, Apple Watches, AirPods, HomePods, Apple TVs… you name it, I’ve bought it. I’m not just a customer; I’ve always been a huge fan.
Two years ago I finally decided to get AppleCare+ for the first time. I figured, ‘Hey, I spend thousands on these devices every year, might as well have the extra protection.’ Never needed it once… until last year.
My phone slipped out of my pocket while I was walking down some stairs. Screen completely shattered, and the aluminum sides got badly dented and scratched – to the point where it actually felt sharp and unpleasant in the hand.
So I went to the Apple Store, super excited that AppleCare+ would finally “save the day.”
They took the phone, came back a few hours later… and had only replaced the screen. The bent, scratched-up frame was exactly the same. I asked, very politely, “Is there any way to fix or replace the side frame too? It doesn’t feel right to hold anymore.” The guy basically said, “Sorry, AppleCare+ only covers the frame if it’s considered ‘severely’ damaged, and this doesn’t qualify.”
So I paid the AppleCare+ service fee… for a repair that would have cost only a little more if I’d just walked in off the street without any coverage at all.
Honestly, it felt like a slap in the face. After almost two decades of giving Apple my money without hesitation, my very first claim left me with a half-fixed phone that no longer feels premium at all. I still love this company, I really do, but this experience made me seriously wonder if AppleCare+ is worth it – especially for people like me who’ve been loyal since day one.
I still hope Apple will eventually realize that “premium care” should mean more than the bare minimum for the customers who’ve supported them the longest.
Disappointed by the Evolution of Customer Service
I have been an Apple customer for many years and generally appreciated their customer service approach, which used to be understanding and flexible. Unfortunately, something has clearly changed in their policy.
I recently requested a refund for an automatically renewed subscription that I absolutely did not use - a verifiable fact in their own logs. In the past, Apple would accept this type of request without issue. This time, categorical refusal, even after contesting.
What bothers me most is the complete lack of flexibility and responsiveness. When a customer doesn’t even touch an application during the entire billing period, it seems that a minimum of common sense should prevail.
I no longer have any trust in their subscription management and even less in their customer service. Be extremely vigilant with anything involving automatic renewals with Apple - they will not make any gesture, even for obvious situations.
A now very cautious customer with the Apple ecosystem.
Horrible , never again
I had did a trial of an app on my phone and forgot to cancel it within the time but as soon as they charged my account I reached out to apple right away , apple declined to give me a refund . I told them I did not want to pay $80 for an app i’m not going to use . They basically said oh well we’re not refunding it . So I reached out to the better business bureau and their response was the same .!I just became an apple user in September but once this phone is done and over with i’m going back to android . I only came this way because certain family members been begging me for years . I haven’t been having a pleasant time with apple since I became an apple user . Apple s joke and they’re money hungry.
Very Disappointing Upgrade
I recently switched to the new iPhone 17 Pro Max, and honestly, I regret buying it. For a phone at this price point, it feels surprisingly cheap, and the overall performance is a big step backward compared to my previous 15 Pro Max.
The internet connection is unreliable, with apps and services constantly disconnecting. The whole experience just feels buggy and sluggish — definitely not what I expect from a flagship device.
The worst issue has been Apple Pay. It sometimes doesn’t work at all, and my bank confirmed the problem is on Apple’s side. This is extremely frustrating, especially when relying on it for everyday payments.
Overall, the phone feels slow, unstable, and poorly optimized. Quality and performance have gone down while the price has gone up. I’m genuinely sorry I bought it, and I can’t recommend it to anyone right now.
terrible support
terrible support. Terribly disapointed with macbook M4.
