The delivery was timed to arrive between 10.13-11.13am and my door buzzer went at 10.17👍. The driver came up to my apartment on the second floor to hand me the package. First class service, cannot ask for anything better. Well done!
no PIN number, no returned driver, hours wasted on phone
Insanely frustrating experience with DPD. Ordered a new phone for next day delivery (which I urgently needed, other phone broke) and when the DPD driver arrived with it, he couldn't give it to me as I hadn't received a PIN (because my phone number was one digit wrong, fault of the sender). The driver said he'd come back in 30 mins whilst I call DPD to update the number (which meant also having to call the sender to change the number, spending hours on the phone) - and the DPD driver never returned. It is so sad that people don't care anymore. DPD drivers don't have any value or morale in their job so why would they care to actually get things to people who need them? BUt what's the alternative when you can only order so many things online, and are at the mercy of delivery drivers?
