Writing an update on my review. I haven’t subscribed to this company since September of 2024. The fact that they random reactivated so many peoples accounts is awful. Jessica, Alex nor Mike have responded to any of my messages/emails. Alex responded in the chat on day 1 and hasn’t since. This company is a FRAUD do NOT use. They should be on all banks flagged list. This is absolutely ridiculous that they are getting away with stealing so many people’s money!! I’ve reported them to the BBB and the governments fraud list. I’ve also contacted a lawyer and my bank. How disgusting that they think they can get away with this.

If I could give them zero stars, I would.

I canceled my subscription with Upgrow, yet they charged me nearly $700 afterward. I’ve emailed multiple times, waited endlessly on their “live chat,” and received zero response. It’s infuriating to see the same complaints all over Trustpilot and Reddit — clearly, this isn’t an isolated mistake but a pattern of unethical billing and unresponsive support.

At this point, I’ve had to initiate a chargeback through my bank just to recover my own money. For a company that claims to help businesses grow, their customer service and integrity are nonexistent.

Avoid Upgrow entirely. They’ll take your money and disappear when you need help.

Fraud

I was charged $299 on 11 October 2025 and $149 about a month earlier without my authorisation. I contacted the company immediately, provided evidence, and requested a refund, but received no solution or confirmation.

I have reported both transactions to my bank and filed a fraud complaint. It´s reportet to the local police and will also be reported in the United States soon to pursue legal action.

All information is based on documented communication and verified bank records. I strongly advise others to be cautious before making any payment.

Awful company

Awful company, avoid. Signed up over a year ago and realised it was a scam, cancelled and thought nothing of it until last month when they started taking money from my account. Disputed with card company and was refunded and they were put on a stop list, but they've changed their name and taken money again this month. Awful. No communication. No way to cancel. Avoid.

1 Star — Misleading Service and No Support

Upgrow did get me more Instagram followers, but almost all were foreign accounts that quickly unfollowed — exactly what they said wouldn’t happen. When I tried to cancel, the frustration really started.

Their “support” process is to message them so they can email you, but they never actually follow up. I’ve sent six messages over four days with zero response. Feels like a deliberate runaround.

At this point I’m likely disputing the charges with my credit card company. Avoid the hassle — this service isn’t what it claims to be.

AVOID!!! Dodgy AF

AVOID!!! They took two payments, one in September and one in October when I’d stop using the service 18 months ago. Support said in September that they’d refund it and that they took my details off their system. No refund, and took more money! I’ve been trying for 4 days now to get a response from them. I had to contact my bank to block further payments. Do not waste your time with these scammers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! IT IS A SCAM! We used it for a month $99. The followers we used on the test account were ALL BOTS. We decided to cancel the account. Fast forward one year & they charged our card again. We fought the charge and got charged again this time $199. We had to cancel the card and fight the charge.

Still No Refund After Multiple Requests – Totally Unreliable Company

Again, it's me. I’m updating my review because I still haven’t received any refund. I contacted Upgrow support three times, and even though they told me I’d get a refund, nothing has happened.

They replied to my previous review but still didn’t take any real action. Now that I’ve seen the other reviews, it’s clear — this company is a scandal. Please read these reviews carefully before signing up. Everything they claim is false.

Give me an exact date for my refund immediately, or I will proceed with legal action.

Upgrow is perpetrating large scale fraud.

This Upgrow scam is a conspiratorial, large-scale fraud. It's no coincidence that so many here suddenly had their accounts illicitly reactivated after many months. Mine had been dormant for more than a year. They have skimmed around $450 from my bank account. Just imagine how much they have scammed from us collectively. They are ignoring all communications through multiple channels. I suspect they are offshore, which would explain their brazenness, given that conspiracy to commit fraud is a Federal crime in the USA—what despicable, duplicitous behaviour.

Follow-up Review – Still No Resolution

This is a follow-up to my previous review and a response to Jessica, who replied to that review. This entire experience is a testament to the terrible service you receive when dealing with Upgrow.
1. 2024 – I chatted with Upgrow and received confirmation that my subscription had been canceled.
2. 12 Sept 2025 – An amount of €84.91 was taken from my bank account.
3. 14 Sept 2025 – I emailed the support email requesting a refund. No response.
4. 15 Sept 2025 – Sent a follow-up. Again, no response.
5. My bank account was subsequently emptied.
6. 12 Oct 2025 – Received an email from Upgrow saying “Your payment failed, let’s fix it.”
7. 12 Oct 2025 – Replied immediately to the support email, mentioning Jessica directly. No response since.
8. 13 Oct 2025 – Received the same “Your payment failed” message again.
9. 15 Oct 2025 – Yet another “Your payment failed” email from Upgrow.

After all these emails, charges, and automated responses, I still haven’t received a single reply from a real person or my refund.

Do not use Upgrow.
Unprofessional, unresponsive, and completely unreliable.

Writing another review to warn potential customers. DO NOT SHARE YOUR CARD DETAILS WITH THIS COMPANY. They've charged my card randomly for services I've never subscribed to. They've done this thrice now. Each time I have to go to Amex to get the charge reversed. They never respond to emails or chats on their website either. STAY AWAY.

SCAM

SCAM! Signed up Oct. 2024 and quickly recognized the poor response and communication. Took a month to finally have someone confirm the immediate cancellation. Now, 1 year later, Sept 2025, my account is being charged again. Apparently, AMEX is aware of this company and the amount of customers having to receive disputed reimbursed charges is leading them to produce a class action lawsuit. In short, DO NOT sign up with this online site.

SCAM Took money from my account…

SCAM!!
Took money from my account repeatedly without permission, promised to return it several times and instead helped themselves to double the money the following month! I have been trying to get it back from weeks and weeks.

DO NOT USE!!!! The Reply from Upgrow is not appropriate - the subscription was cancelled in April 2025! Then for NO reason what so ever took 99 dollars in September 2025 and promised me several times they would refund me then in October they took 199 dollars! WITHOUT permission and even though i have emailed, and emailed the founder AND gone through chat over 20 times I STILL do not have my money back!!!! I have reported them as FRAUD and have cancelled my cards to stop them taking money from my account.

Ive still had no response

A day later and can you believe the gall of these people telling me my account is running great and Ihave REAL growth happening. THERE IS NO GROWTH the account WAS CLOSED in February! And both our tiktok account and Instgram are not activated.

This is shocking!! BEWARE!!!! Ive had to cancel my cards so they cant take payment and reported them as fraud. Make sure you log all the chat history if you have to go through what i have since February 2025! Steer Clear!

BTW once you sign up you cant remove any details! So if they have your card you will need to cancel it else they might just start taking money from you like they did with me. There is no setting to cancel. And apparently this is due to a setting in their system!

Like all the other reviews, Even when you officially try and cancel they just take random amounts months later. Have reported them to my credit card company, bunch of absolute scammers.!!
