Very poor product quality and customer support

I do not recommend shopping from Bernstein.

1. Despite being a 'premium' product, it was terrible; loud, uneven, ugly and nothing like it's images
2. It took 1 month and many follow-ups for customer support to be in touch
3. Customer support was unhelpful despite clear documentation and we fear that we have lost money for nothing.

I recommend looking for similar products on alternative websites

Incredible product, experience, and customer support

We're in Sweden, and purchased a hanging bathroom mirror that was impossible to find anywhere else. I was nervous ordering something from a shop I didn't know anything about, and even went as far as googling them and identifying that they were in fact a well-reviewed physical store on Google Maps, which reassured me. Long story short, we were VERY impressed with them. The shipment was fast, the quality was amazing beyond expected, and honestly, the mirror looks so much more expensive than it actually is. I would 100% order from them again.

Customer service: There was a small piece missing (an aesthetic piece, not essential for function), and customer service was very responsive, and immediately offered a satisfactory partial refund, which they sent promptly upon agreement from me. Very pleased!

FOREVER BANNED from my suppliers' list.
My clients had to return a new toilet just ordered from Bernstein's website, due to a change of layout in the bathroom during the renovation.
From then, we had to deal with Mehmet, who "works" for Bernsteins Customer Don't Care Service. I also provided the clients a trolley for carrying the 31 kilos toilet to the courier, and to the post office, as suggested by Mr. Mehmet's useless return labels. We all spent ages for trying to return this toilet, but it was impossible.
When we informed him, he only answered in a rude way and without even trying to provide a solution.
Luckily there are tons of other very good factories in the world to buy from. In 2025 nobody needs to buy items from a German factory which doesn't care about their clients.

Warning: Avoid Ordering from This Website

I want to share my extremely disappointing experience with this website to warn potential customers. Be very cautious when placing an order, as returning items is nearly impossible and customer support is unhelpful and disrespectful. Here's what happened:

Order placed: I ordered a toilet on March 13th.

Issue: The product arrived in perfect condition, but unfortunately, it didn’t fit the space in my home.

Return request: I contacted customer support on March 25th to request a return label for shipping from Ireland.

Label issue (DHL): The return label provided was invalid—DHL could not process the parcel because the label didn’t belong to their system. They advised me to contact An Post instead.

Label issue (An Post): An Post informed us that the return label was issued incorrectly because the parcel exceeded 20kg, which violates their shipping restrictions.

Customer support experience: I contacted customer service again and dealt with Mehmet Yilmaz. Instead of offering a solution, he claimed that postal workers were incompetent and liars, which was incredibly disrespectful.

Supporting evidence: We even shared the official postal regulations to prove that the refusal wasn’t arbitrary, but Mehmet continued to dismiss our concerns.

Escalation ignored: We requested to speak with a supervisor, but two weeks later, we are still waiting for a response.

Summary:
They provide incorrect return labels that cannot be used with the designated carriers.

Customer support is rude, unprofessional, and dismissive—especially Mehmet Yilmaz, whose tone was offensive.

No accountability or assistance is offered when issues arise.

This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I do not recommend ordering from this website.

Amazing customer service

Failed attempt to return item

I have filled multiple forms, and tried unsuccessfully contact Bernstein by phone in order to return a bathtub as per the contract cancelation policy and witin the contract deadlines. It took over 8 days to get a first response and only after I have reached out to the sales support. It was promised that I would be contacted by a transportation company within 4 days, which did not happen. I have tried once more to follow up through various means without success. The ticket number is: 436591. I do hope that now the support will finally respond and provide the return as per contratc.
