We booked flights to Krakow with the sole purpose around a visit to auschwitz. We were scheduled for 6am pick up, which we understood may change slightly ie earlier or later. We did not expect to receive a text the day before at 13.54pm (the cut off to cancel was 5am that day) advising pick up was 2.30am! What an absolute joke. There was no way I was going to ask my 80yr old dad to get up at that time ready for a 2.30am pick up therefore would lose my money, I will dispute this.

I've used GetYourGuide a number of times now for various trips - some guided and some solo. All the services have been excellent. We've had some really great guided tours with fantastic guides. Its a great service, easy to use and very good value for money too. Can highly recommend

I usually book all my tours with GetYourGuide when traveling to different countries. It’s always a good experience, but I recommend checking the reviews of each tour before booking.

Booked a trip to Auschwitz with this company for two people on 20th November for 10 am pick up That night before got a message off then saying due to the large amount of people visiting the camps your trip is now going at 5 30am in the morning Be outside the main shopping mall for 5 15 am So we were there for 5am Coach's and minibuses started arriving at 515am We ask everyone that pulled in are we on your bus no was the answer We were still there at 6am last two people So we gave up and went back to the hotel About 8am got a phone call.off a guy saying he was are driver and he had been there at 5 30am and he had got off his coach and had walked up and down shouting mine and my partners names I said well I must be going deaf and you are talking a loud of rubbish with that he said well you don't get your money back

Kousei was by far one of the most organized and entertaining tour guide I’ve ever had. He took us to so many stunning places and made the whole trip wonderful. Highly recommend seeing Mt Fuji

DO NOT BOOK EXCURSIONS OR TRIPS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!

My family was recently lucky enough to have a nice holiday to Hurghada, Egypt. Marred only by an expensive balloon flight trip over the valley of Kings, Luxor.

From start to finish it was shambolic.

A trip which coct £800 sterling for 2 adults and 2 children.

We were always aware of the early morning departure of our minibus collection but this turned up over 30 minutes late. Communication regarding the issue was not clear. As there is no traffic on the road @ 2 in the morning I can only imagine the service they provide is not organised or managed correctly.!

Despite the delay we arrived at Luxor as planned albeit I think it had a knock on effect on us missing out on our ballon flight.

From the moment of arrival there was no communication that was clear or consistent. It seemed to be on a first come first deserved basis. We were in the first 50% of people that arrived so I am struggling to believe that is the case! However no-one could explain on the day or indeed now exactly how it is organised or justify why we did not get on a balloon.

I calmly and politely kept asking which balloon we would be going on. There were over 60 balloons at a count and hundreds of people each with a representative from a tour experience. Remember, I booked this as a once in a life time experience so I was naturally excited and had waited a long time for the experience.

When I expressed this during my questions of when I would be going up I was told it was the second wave of five, then the third wave of five, on the fourth wave of five I took matters i walked towards the balloon I was told I would be going on and was restricted from doing so.

It was at this point I had a sinking feeling that for a reason I was not being told and through no fault of my own I would not get the experience I had paid a lot of money for.

This sadly turned out to be the case.

I was refunded £118 of £800!!!! And not given a reason why or a breakdown of costs. Just money returned to the bank account I had paid with.

I subsequently emailed regarding the other elements of the trip I had experienced TRIPLING ALL COSTS and wages.

Diesel tripled, drivers wages tripled. Getting the information on egyptian hourly wages averagely by job title I tripled it. It was all broken down and itemised. And I requested the difference. The difference being the balloon flight I had not experienced.

I am fair and reasonable to do this?

So it is my sincere hope that my advice reaches as many people as possible.

If this trip is something you would like to do. Do not book it through these people people!

Thoroughly research all costs for yourself and book it upon your arrival to Egypt.

Absolute disgrace. Five hour drive with my husband and two children from Hurghada to Luxor for the trip of a lifetime. Over £700 and a year spent looking forward to it. We kept getting fobbed off while people were trying to sell us things. We saw several balloons taking off every few minutes most going left and two going right where we were headed over the valley of the kings. We were told we were going on the second wave. That came and went. Still we were excited. Then to be told that we wouldn't be going. Us and four families. They said the wind has changed we can't fly and would get a full refund. You can imagine how upset, angry and devastated we were aswell as exhausted from the drive. We were collected an hour late so that meant we could of gone on the first wave. We also arrived long before a lot of people that took off. After speaking to the four other families that didn't get their dream experience we all had one thing in common. We didn't pay the men to film our trip and I think that's what sealed our fate. I now wish we had paid the £80. I completely understand that weather changes can affect balloon rides in England but its pretty rare in Egypt it was the calmest day 31 degrees clear skies no cloud, no mist just the beautiful sun coming up. I was already cross before they cancelled it as the trip offered already being on top of the valley of the kings as the sun came up we were so excited after seeing photos online. Conn artists. Never use Get your guide again. The only refund we got was just over £100. I still get upset now weeks later.

We had a great guide, telling a lot about London, joking etc. Just a very nice man. We loved seeeing London illuminated.

We had a 2 day pass for Disneyland Paris. We tried to upgrade our second day to Fast Pass tickets. GetYourGuide was the first name on the search engine offering these tickets. We followed their link link and paid for the tickets only to find it was just another of standard park tickets. When we contacted them about this they told us they do not provide any fast pass tickets even though they advertise them online and would not refund us for the second set of tickets as it was within 3 days of the date even though we had only purchased the day before. We are over £200 out of pocket. No show of good faith at all even though we spent a lot of money on original tickets. Please be aware of this questionable advertising. We will be reporting this

I booked a walking tour in Samarkand, Uzbekistan on Sunday morning, for a tour on the next day -- and then got hit with food poisoning and had to miss the walking tour. Since my original booking and subsequent cancellation was within a 24 hour period of the walking tour, the central support unit refused to reimburse me.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Albania, North Macedonia…. Everything I’ve booked through GetYourGuide has been fun, informative and reasonable priced. It’s the only site I use to book international activities

We reserved Hong Kong Peak Tram and Sky Terrace 428 pass. We got the booking reference and did not know that it should have a QR code. The booking confirmation we received did not have a QR code, at the entrance they did not allow us to enter. There is no customer service for immediate assistance which forced us to buy tickets again. We sent messages multiple times to check on refund but there is no response so far. Extremely disappointed with their customer service, please be cautious while dealing with this company. We felt like cheated and lost USD $50+

While doing research on various sites at our destination, GetYourGuide popped up on our results. We were impressed by the variety of tours and excursions offered so we decided to book all of our activities through them, and I'm glad that we did. The app is very easy to use - all of our vouchers were contained in one location. One tour was cancelled and our money was refunded immediately, allowing us to book a similar tour with another GetYourGuide tour provider. I like that you're able to contact GetYourGuide through the app and someone answers within minutes. They actively work to resolve any issues. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

Great platform - easy to use if tou want to book in advance.
Booking at the attractions itself is mostly cheaper.

My son booked tickets to auchwitz some time ago at a reasonable price.
He has since had these cancelled and been offered tickets for an exorbitant cost.
We will now stop using these shisters!!

I have never seen anything so badly organized, it’s so chaotic and messy.

GetYourGuide is a great tool. On our recent trip to Vienna it gave us loads of ideas on what we could do there and as of that we booked a couple of events.
