Rude delivery guy
Currently residing in Belmont. The delivery guy was so rude, shouted at me and even insulted as I did not hear his knock. I politely told him that there was a door bell in which he can use but he shouted “you should clean your ears.” He was an old man with heavy accent and was driving a red van PEUGEOT with plate number KR74GFJ. I did not bother to take my parcel as he was volatile and aggressive.

My husband passed recently, and he had a very special teddy bear, very sentimental, my daughter lost her rabbit Mr Snuffles a few days ago, so I thought I'd send Harvey my husbands teddy down from Cumbria to Plymouth, special delivery, they attempted to deliver, but unlucky, when I tryed to redelivery,on line, her postcode, didn't match, i posted it in Harrington post office, they obviously got it wrong.
I phoned up customer services Plymouth north and spoke to a man called Johnathan, he could hear I was really upset, he was kind professional, and had so much empathy, just a really kind man, he escalated it for me, although my daughter still hasn't got Harvey, she should be able to pick him up by Friday. Poor Excuses…
I live on the Isle of Wight and have just made a complaint regards the infrequency of my mail deliveries. I receive mail approx once a fortnight. Mail such as credit card bills are arriving after the pay by date and costing us money. Hospital appointments are also arriving after the appointment date. I was informed that the problem was due to a shortage of staff. I was also informed that I can go and collect my mail from the post office myself. I'm disabled and my wife is also unwell so that not only isn't practical but what's the point in having a royal mail service if I have to collect it. In my opinion the Royal Mail isn't fit for purpose

Awful company
I have had an email from Parcelforce saying my parcel has been delivered. It has not. They provided a photo which appears to be a dark room with a light glowing in it. There is no way of speaking to a representative to complain. Expected better of Royal mail.

Very disappointed with the recorded delivery service.
I had a very important, time critical letter to be sent, and so arranged recorded delivery , which got lost. I tried a second time and that also got lost, consequently I missed my deadline date, which will have a financial impact to me.

This disgrace of a parcel carrier completely lied stating that they attempted to deliver 2 days in a row and after viewing my cctv nobody came to my address complete waste of space,

I was expecting a delivery of a SIM…
I was expecting a delivery of a SIM card from ID Mobile today 6th October 2025. Yesterday both Royal Mail and ID Mobile sent me emails to let me be aware that the SIM would be delivered today. I cancelled all appointments scheduled for today because I had terminated my service with another mobile company. I had no other way to contact people except using my landline. It was imperative for me that I receive the SIM CARD
At 16:00 I received this message which annoyed me immensely:
"Sorry, we were unable to deliver this item at 06-10-2025 as the address was inaccessible. We will attempt to deliver your item again on the next working day.
Update delivery options
Access issues prevented us from delivering this item. This could be due to a number of reasons, including locked communal entrances, bad weather, health and safety issues or road closures."
This was not only nonsense and a complete LIE. I was in all day. I had also taken the precaution to put a notice on my door that read:

I'm writing this review because this is the second time Royal Mail have failed to deliver on time. Last week they failed to deliver the mobile handset that I had bought.
This is atrocious service. Royal Mail is no longer as reliable as it used to be. I do not know if the acquisition by the International Distribution Services is responsible for this reprehensible deterioration of service.

Inefficient ,Irresponsible and Unresponsive
Royal mail is the worst delivery service provider as they will repeatedly keep on delaying the delivery stating ‘you are not at home’ even though one is. Never following the delivery instructions- it often results in a harrowing experience when the product I ordered is being sent via Royal mail after placing the order online . All the other providers that I’ve dealt with like Evri , DHL , Amazon are very prompt and professional with better service quality . Customer delivery executives of Royal mail are inefficient ,uninformed and non responsive mostly.
Request for delivery to local PO ignored
My parcel was due to arrive on a day I would not be in. I asked for it to be sent to my local Post Office and received confirmation of my request . Royal Mail tried to deliver it to my home .
I then sent another message for delivery to local PO . I am still waiting for message to tell me it is there . It is a birthday present and I ordered well in time .
This is not the first time this has happened to me and others I know. I complained to RM , but nothing changes . I will avoid ordering anything if RM are the delivery agents . No wonder they lose money , RM used to be a very trusted brand - whatever went wrong

Honestly just crawl over broken glass to wherever you want your item to go, and then burn it at the front door. It will be a better experience for sender and receiver.

You’re then immediately told this isn’t possible, and you’ll get your package at some point, maybe.
Royal Mail provide Consistently poor service.
I don’t understand how any business with such blatant contempt for its customers can continue to exist.
Find literally any other option for a better experience.
The worst provider
The worst provider, extremely incompetent from cal centre lengthy wait times; to actual postmans who claim to attempt delivery and slack off; to then customer rocking up to depo and another Royal Mail incompetent chap telling me they have to attempt again before they can give the parcel.. attempt again when they never came nor left the card. No common sense; might as well wrap it up and go bust, there are more reliable services out there.

Once again no mail delivered in past 6 days.This has been going on for years.MP Paul Waugh has tried to improve situation but but he has just received misinformation from customer services and nothing improves. It really is a shockingly poorly managed company with ingrained dishonesty and acceptance of a shit service being the norm. Shocking how bad they have gotten
Shocking how bad they have gotten, no wonder they have competition now. Guarantee 20% of my post sending and receiving goes missing unless signed for or tracked even then someone has been a thieving xxxxx. I posted myself a letter with comics in from Oxford to Radley as it was tipping it down and I didn’t want them getting wet. Sealed the comics in nicely and a few day later arrived and someone and taken a scalpel opened and removed the comics and then dropped off to be signed. Of course I complained show proof of how much they were and proof of purchase and postal proof. I was offered £4.00+ for the postage only and sorry sxxx happens. Not only do they employ thieves they treat customers like crap and it our fault for using their service.
Royal Mail Tracker Service - Bum Award
First I want to give a gold star to the overnight driver who took my old passport to the Hemel Hempstead sorting office early Tuesday morning. They corrected the system to show the passport had in fact left Asda Portsmouth Post Office on Monday. Apart from this driver, the bum cheeks award goes to the Asda Post Office Portsmouth lady on Sunday (with an attitude) & the delivery person today at the Hemel Hempstead Passport Office who loaded a photo of what looks like bum cheeks to prove delivery ☹️... Personally I can't wait for China to take over the UK and make everything run efficiently. Passport Office has still not confirmed delivery 6 hours later ☹️...shame I cant attached the bum cheeks photo to help PO identify the relevant driver 😁
