Not actually a perk but an expense

Most things which are shown as "discounts" are actually higher price to which they apply the "discount" and you end up paying MORE than if you booked directly.
Case in points: Booking via the theatredesk with the 10% off discount you end up paying MORE than if you booked directly with the official theatre website with NO discount.

Be careful and check before you get burnt.

This is not the first time I observed this - try using the Expedia website to search for hotels and you'll notice quickly the multi-% discount is actually MORE expensive than basic Booking.com search.

I believe they try to do this for convenience with employers but end up needing to hike the prices to demonstrate they have a big discount when in reality you're paying them for the service. I don't recommend.

Note: I haven't used their points to say of they are worth it or not

Do not use!

I was trying to book a holiday package to Santorini. The website takes you directly to Expedia. And doesn’t al you to create a separate account on Expedia website. I chose the package and pressed to pay, three times as the error message with payment was coming up. I haven’t received any confirmation of any payment, however my bank account was billed 3 times only for the inbound flights! Expedia said they don’t see any purchase. Perksatwork only said to clean the history on the app. I am still waiting for my money to come back without any help from Perksatwork or Expedia. Feels like scam. Don’t recommend anyone at all.

Swift resolution of enquiry

Perks at Work offers great discounts on numerous products and services. Team is very helpful and quick to respond to enquiries. I needed to cancel a reservation for airport parking with urgency on timeline due to change of travel plans. My request process within an hour of submission enabling me to proceed with other changes to reservations.

Scamming and deceiving

The website appeared that I had enough points to cover a car rental. I've now been waiting 7 months for the credit I am owed as I paid out of pocket as required. I can see a pending $17 and change but even this ridiculous amount can't seem to make it's way back to my card. Sure feels like a scam and I am reporting them to my company.

Scammers and thieves

Scammers. I have never had any contact with these guys nor have any of my employers, but they keep tryimg to steal money from my bank account. I have been in touch and they promised to look into it, yet have ignored all my emails for the past two months. STAY AWAY!

Terrible user experience

Tried to pay for airport parking 6 times. I get the same loading screen saying 'verifying your card' before getting put back onto the payment page. I have tried using the app, my phone and my desktop but still no use!

No points

I purchased 2 flights and hotel to Vegas in February and 2 flights to Costa Rica in May and never received any WOW points. The discounts didnt really make that big of a difference so the WOW points were the main reason I booked through Perks At Work for future travel so it is very disappointing that I never received them. Not to mention my purchase history shows nothing. You would think spending $2,100 would at leat get you the WOW point. I've booked 2 trips since then but not through Perks At Work. I don't really see any benefit in using them again.

Worst Booking Idea with Perks at Work!!

I booked a multi-city flight two months in advance. I am not able to make the trip and I was refused a refund or modification of my flight. This is the worst option to use for any Vacation, Lesiure Plans, or emergency plans for Business or personal use. 'I'M TELLING YOU, DON'T USE THIS SERVICE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE INDUSTRY. THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY AND LIE TO YOU BY HAVING YOU CONTACT THE ACTUAL AIRLINE ETC. AND STILL THERE ISN'T A RESOLUTION TO MODIFY YOUR BOOKING AND OR CANCEL YOUR BOOKING!"

This company is a FRAUD!!!!!!

The Perks @ Work platform is horrible

The Perks @ Work platform is horrible. I finally got it to work (sort of) using it entirely inside an Incognito browser. Put the tickets in my cart and the Check Out feature doesn't work...like at ALL. After reading the reviews I'm afraid to even enter my credit card information in here anyway. What a shame a large Fortune 50 company like mine has resorted to such a crummy employee discount platform. What we had before was great! I feel very ripped off and will speak to my HR about how poorly this company is at supporting their online "product". Oh, and the mobile app is a joke. Infuriating that my company switched to this garbage company with not so much as a PHONE NUMBER to call for support! I literally can't use this website and will have to pay full price. How is that an employee benefit exactly??

Not worth the hassle

Used to have great deals on cinema tickets which would be great in this economy but they switched providers and now you are basically paying full price. Can't even enjoy a discounted cinema trip nowadays which was their best selling point.

Not GDPR compliant - required to save card details.

It is not possible to checkout without agreeing to save your card details for future use. There is a checkbox with the label " I agree that my Card and Billing Address combination will be saved for future purchases. *". Unless this is checked the "Contine checkout" button is disabled with a not-allowed cursor. Also, there is no corresponding information to the asterisk.
This is obviously not GDPR compliant.

They blatantly lie about price and discounts.

I'm searching for a hotel stay, on booking.com. PaW states up to 60% discount, and many listings show large discounts, yet every single hotel I compared with the booking.com website was more expensive on PaW.

I saw on another review on here with a response from PaW saying they offer the best price on hotels, this is simply not true at all.

Word of warning, if you are booking or ordering anything on PaW, check the website they are linking to, it will almost certainly be less expensive going direct.

Payments Taken, No Product, No Refund – Unacceptable!

I made two payments on 19 July 2025 which were both charged, but the purchases did not go through. I was informed that refunds would be processed by 21 July and returned within 3–5 business days, but unfortunately, there was no update or refund within that timeframe.

I followed up with a request on 28 July, and to their credit, I received a response later that day. The refunds were processed and received on 30 July.

While I'm glad the issue was eventually resolved, it would have been much better if the process had worked as promised — without the need for additional follow-up on my part. Clearer communication and timely updates would really improve the overall customer experience.

Unable to purchase

Unable to purchase
They disabled my check out a week ago, I have sent screenshots of my bank account, raised multiple tickets and no one is coming back to me. Took £5,000 out of my bank and won't give me my vouchers, had to dispute it with the bank.
I've asked for a call as it states on their website, nothing. I've asked for time frame for how long this takes. Nothing.
I've asked for numerous updates, nothing.

The customer service is absolutely disgusting, I've had tickets closed as resolved with no update or anything.

I DO NOT recommend this company and will be making that very clear to other people I work with.

Complaint open for 4+ months

Customer support have not responded to my emails for over a month now, even though I asked them to raise a complaint regarding my issue and lack of transparency and support. I can't use this service at all with any of my cards and no-one is explaining to me what the issue is or how it can be resolved. Customer support are completely ignoring me now, which is unacceptable. Lastly, I asked to escalate the issue to a complaint. They said they had a complaints process, but never shared it with me or explained timelines to me.

Phone app takes payment but nothing in return

On the phone app, I ordered a £250 curry's card/voucher as I want to purchase an appliance and I thought what a great way to earn WOW points. The first time I tried to make payment, it said it failed to connect to supplier so I tried again. It said the same thing. I gave up. A couple of days later, the payments (£500 in total) have cleared my credit card but I have nothing in return!! I have emailed them since requesting my money back asap and although I have had responses, nothing to confirm any refund and nothing refunded to my card. Really disappointed and has put me off using again, which is a shame as I was hoping to use for groceries etc.

Finally I managed to get this sorted, no thanks to the CS team. I tracked down who was in charge and emailed them daily to sort out. Anyone in same position, look up Rosey Burchell, Dana Countant and Kevin McCoy at Next Jump and email them...

Checkout disabled and there's no reply from security team at all

Issues with my account when I've added a new bank card to buy a gift card, it blocked out my checkout and asked me to contact the support, I've contacted the support through a ticket and has been told that I will be forwarded to the security team and I have been ghosted ever since. Not sure what the security team is even doing to be honest, there's no reply on the ticket and you just leave your customer hanging there for weeks that their account can't do anything at all. Service is so bad that if there's a negative 5 star i will give them that.

Made a purchase for an easyjet holiday…

Made a purchase for an easyjet holiday (payment made by debit card to Easyjet) All details of cost invoices forwarded to Wow points detailing points to be deducted against holiday. Waited the 21 business days after travel . Now been asked to make a missing wow points claim!!!!
Come on Wow points get your act together for 56,211 of points i earned this !!!!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

Tried to buy a phone from curry’s to earn wow points. Payment remains ‘disabled’ 4 working days later with no explanation or response from the security team despite numerous emails. There are no telephone helplines whatsoever. I can’t buy a phone and forget about the points as fear payment may still be taken. Worst service ever.
