I used Checkatrade to find someone to help me with a wasp problem. I found a couple of companies, who I contacted and they promptly responded to me. It was great to know that I was getting someone who I could trust to sort the issue in a timely manner and the right price.

The brothers did an amazing job. Excellent customer service. Would 100% recommend them.

On 06/10/2025 Apex Heating Services came to service my boiler & check the heating. Sadly the boiler was dead & ready to kill me & mine! On 08/10/2025 Apex arrived promptly at 10.15am and proceeded to fit the new boiler. Ed & Adam are brilliant; they came in, started work straight away, pulled out the old boiler very cleanly, fitted the new one, found I needed a new thermostat for the radiators so Adam promptly when to get a new one. When they finished they took me through the workings in a proper easy to understand way; took everything away & cleaned up; provided all paperwork, emailing guarantee, invoice etc. before close of business. The whole thing from start to finish was a breeze, so professional, courteous, respect for property, just a brilliant experience from start to finish.

Good workmen who really put in the effort to get the job done on time.
Cost was what they quoted. Very pleased with the quality of the work and the friendly, reliable attitude of the workmen .

Not sure it’s worth the paper it’s written on roofer didn’t show twice lied at least once didn’t know if they were in checkatrade although displayed the log on ringing checkatrade was told they used to be on the list but weren’t now should find another roofer they didn’t turn up either .
On messaging CEO about them displaying the logo I got a reply they weren’t on the list of traders but were members that does not make sense !

Both jobs done on time z well mannered

I had a wasp nest under my window I found John on checkatrade, I read the reviews all 5* I sent a message and John came out the very next afternoon. John was very cheerful polite explained everything and was very professional! After treating the nest and a second one higher up near the gutter! Job done a lot of very angry wasps 😡 by late afternoon I wasn't seeing a single wasp! Wasps seem to have all gone, I can now go into my garden and be safe from these pesky creatures! I definitely will be calling on John again if I have anymore nests next year! He was also very reasonable too.. Definitely recommend John...

BM Chris and Matt were a delight to work with.
Chris was super communicative and speedy on the responses and Matt who attended the site was great and very nice to work with too as well as great communication and expectation setting.
We hit a bump during our work (due to external company) but Matt and Chris were super fast to sort it out and rectify. We are super happy with their work done and their pricing was very reasonable too!
Definitely recommend these guys!
