Thieves indy and swan
Thieves! Try paying a bill at say a petrol station. Paid 27 euros, they took 200 from the account and are REFUSING to refund the difference claiming they 'have the right' to keep the money for 30 days.
This is such a common problem that a petrol company, Total now has an announcement on its help lines about it because so many people are complaining!
My advice having been bitten by them is not to go any where near them, not within a million miles
Apparently they are calling into question my honesty. If anyone doubts me I can send on copies of correspondence and the relevant bank statements
See their reply! Yes they think they can keep the money for 30 days! It is NOT there money! Depriving people of their property is THEFT.

Je suis sincèrement navrée que vous n'ayez pas été satisfaite de votre expérience.
Comme expliqué sur le live-chat, l’empreinte bancaire est une pré-autorisation demandée par le marchant, ici une station-service. Ainsi, il s'assure que les fonds nécessaires à l’opération sont bien disponibles sur votre compte.
La somme retenue sera de nouveau disponible dès que le marchand aura libéré cette emprunte, et cela peut légalement prendre 30 jours maximum.
Je vous rassure alors sur le fait que ni Swan, ni Indy, ne sont à l'origine de cette retenue.
N'hésitez pas à nous recontacter sur le live-chat si vous avez besoin d'en discuter à nouveau, nous restons pleinement disponibles pour vous accompagner.

Unable to speak to an agent either by phone or via chat. Not enough information upfront, so I wasted a lot of time in signing up, nit knowing that I am probably not eligible considering my extra-EU situation. If you arrive from abroad, do not bother as this seems to be a system made only for French citizens.
