Scam booking… beware of scam people who had my personal details from booking… demanding extra payment … not a good service
Don’t use. Lesson learned
Although booking.com’s hotel booking seems okay, I learned my lesson never to use their taxi service again.
After a delayed flight, the meet and greet taxi driver didn’t show up and, crucially, failed to notify me even though he had my phone number.
So I had to find a local taxi in the early hours of the morning.
Although booking.com refunded the taxi pre-payment (how could they refuse?), they refused to pay my phone charges for trying to call the no-show driver in vain via the link in the confirmation details.
Added to that, they offered me a 10% discount on a future taxi booking! They need to get real!
Istanbul airport experience poor
No one to meet me at Istanbul airport - I had to find a small logo on a board outside the terminal and ask people.
Long wait with a crowd of others for vehicles to be assigned.
Executive Car booked, but I was given a cheaper People Carrier.
Customer Services replied to my complaint promptly, but refused any sort of refund and merely offered 10% off my next ride.
I would have done better to use an ordinary airport taxi.
Avoid this company especially with a family group
I booked an airport taxi for 9 people to Manchester airport on the morning 3am instead of the minibus paid for, Booking sent a family car with an Uber sticker on the side and the driver said not to worry the minibus was on its way . He wanted to take just our luggage and meet us at the airport. We refused for obvious reasons & 2 adults accompanied the luggage. It was now 15mins after the collection time. I rang the taxi provider who assured me it was coming. We were extremely anxious as our group had 3 young children which necessitated splitting the group. When the minibus did arrive it was a 9 seater so had we followed the first drivers instruction and only sent our luggage with him one person would have not been able to travel as the driver was the 9th person!!
The return journey was exactly the same from the airport two drivers messaging & ringing with 2 separate pick up points.
When a complaint was submitted to Booking.com they disregarded the complaint & asserted that they had supplied the one vehicle paid for ignoring the fact that 2 were provided. We had such a bad experience that Booking will not be used in the future.

Booked and paid for a taxi to pick me up very late at night in Berlin.Instructions were driver to meet me with displaying my name at terminal exit.Driver was somewhere else he did send me details of the pickup point my eyesight is not so good and I didn't want to be wandering around in the dark in a strange place.They got back to me but would not offer a refund.Advoid never again

Really bad experience and agent tried to get refund for the cancelled return but supplier refused as it was less than 24hours. Do not book this service for Munich.
great service worked better than I'd hoped
Booked an airport transfer from florence to siena and it couldn't have gone smoother and was actually cheaper than hiring a car. Driver met us at arrivals with a sign with our name, ride was comfortable and smooth, on return driver met us at our hotel at the booked time and all went smoothly and he was knowledgeable about the surrounding area informing us of what we were seeing.

Booked a taxi service from London to Marrakech and despite more than hour delayed, another driver was already waiting. Brilliant service so decided to booked a return service. Noticed a night before that the pick up address was wrong and contacted CS and as they can’t be able to amend it, they advised to cancel and rebooked then they will refund. Done and the next day , I still haven’t received a Whatsapp msg from the driver so contacted CS again. This time I was chatting to MORENA. Very sarcastic , unprofessional and rude manner knowing she is representing one of the reputable travel company. So I ended the chat and waited for 20 minutes and decided to chat to them again and turned out , there was no driver at all as they can’t even contact the local taxi company so I took a local taxi going to the airport. If there are any available taxi service options, then stay away from Booking.com!
Money lost
Accident on the starting airport resulted in 6 hours delay in arrival time (4 AM). No wonder there was no driver waiting in a mid-night.

Booked and paid for 6 person people carrier, normal taxi turned up, we were then told the car we had ordered was coming waited 2 hours as booking.com said they had checked with suppplier and definitely coming . We had to get local taxis in the end
Get left behind
I had read reviews about the limited wait time for taxis when booking through booking.com and how you'd be left if you couldn't make it through in an insanely small window of time so I requested a collection time 1h30 after our scheduled landing to have plenty of time for border control and to collect our checked bags. The next page requested your flight details, I assumed for tracking purposes in case you're delayed. Nope - landed and got my phone connected again off airplane mode to instantly have a WhatsApp come through from the taxi driver noting that we had landed and the wait time had commenced. Never mind checked bags or border control, we hadn't even had steps delivered to get off the plane
The service cannot be relied upon at all
Also beware- he tried to offer sticking around to take us on the planned transfer for what ended up being almost 5 times the price hailing a taxi did cost us.
Good experience in Antalya
I booked airport transfers from Antalya airport to our hotel in Side. On the outbound journey, the trip was allocated to Seja Travel - they messaged me 24 hours before the pick up time with detailed instructions and pictures. They were ready and waiting for us on our arrival despite us leaving the airport over an hour after landing due to delays with baggage. For the return journey, we were allocated to a different company and did not have any communication until 1 hour before the scheduled pick up time - this did cause some anxiety as I was worried that if they did not arrive, I would be running late for our flight. However, they arrived on time and we had no issues.

Left STRANDED by BOOKING.COM, With 2 young children amd heavy suitcases Security was a nightmare in majorca ,booking com required the flight details to track time of arrival for punctuality. They say the driver will wait 45min but this was just over 1hr 5min ,we had no choice in what time the taxi would have got here and we tried to put in a later time incase this happened but the delay in majorca was horrendous amd theybwont allow untill you show the flight details.So 20 min late within that time I messaged the taxi driver/company and spoke to them and everything seemed t9 be okay and the company would resend ,turns out they cancelled with no notification and was very much matter of fact that is cancelled after I called and they will send refund ASAP, I believe they are doing this on purpose because they're getting more expensive rides at that time.
You would expect them to send another taxi out because booking.com is a massive brand and wont treat their customers in that way.
We paid 62 pound each way and was told by another company it is 90 euro to pay,so certainly out of pocket and left a sour taste in our mouths even before the holiday started.
Avoid booking.com for airport transfers
We booked a taxi with booking.com for 6 people and luggage from Sydney airport to The Kimpton Margot in Sydney CBD. On landing, the taxi driver, Lawrence, sent a WhatsApp message stating that his vehicle had broken down and he would arrange 2 Ubers. He then asked for the contact details of another person in our group. We did not want to travel by Uber so made our own way to the hotel. We requested a refund from booking.com who said they would investigate the booking. They subsequently said that the driver had supplied evidence that he completed the booking and there would be no refund. I went to my WhatsApp messages to find the driver had deleted all communication, however I did have the messages from Uber. His “evidence” showed a time stamped photo of him at Sydney airport, his call records and him located on the map at our hotel at about the correct time. I advised booking.com that the photo was not from that day - the weather was glorious sunshine on the photo yet it was torrential rain on the day we arrived. If you matched his fictitious call record with the location map it showed that he called me and 17 minutes later was outside the hotel. Booking.com after my research provided a refund but they were prepared to quite happily accept the driver’s false information. I would advise you to not use booking.com for transfers and take screenshots of any WhatsApp communications with them or their representatives.
TLDR - don't use Booking.com for car service/airport transfer
Booked a car for 5 year old, 3 year old and myself from Lisbon, specifically so we wouldn't have to bring our own car seats. As expected, I got a text on WhatsApp from the driver when our plane landed and we chatted while the kids and I made our way to the security line. He told me to reach back out when we were through security and had our bags. Passport control took an hour, so he left. No message, no heads up. Per Booking.com's policy, they can leave (even if they've been chatting with you) after 45 minutes. I begged him to come back and he didn't respond. After spending 20 minutes trying to reach a real person through Booking.com support I got someone who told me "just take a local taxi" (it was a 3 hour ride) and "car seats aren't mandatory in Portugal" (they are). The driver did finally respond to me hours later to tell me that his company can't do anything for me, only Booking.com can help. Definitely got the impression that Booking.com screws over their local partners to the point that the local teams are eager to have a reason to ditch out of the reservation. If you're considering this. Just don't. THANKFULLY there were some people from another car service at the airport and they called in another driver to give us a ride.

The driver never arrived. No show no message no call no nothing. Later on, when contacting Taxi On Booking about this, it was claimed that the driver had tried to call me. A lie. Bad customer service.

PROGO TRAVEL - A BAD CHOICE
airport service provided by PROGO TRAVEL FROM hotel in Istanbul to Istanbul airport was absolutely awful. The driver was very unprofessional and was smoking in the taxi which was really bad as there was no ventilation and he should have avoided in a first place to smoke as you would expect in a executive people carrier taxi for which you paid extra amount of money for smooth and seamless experience.
Driver drove really fast and felt like he was in a real rush.
Really really disappointed and would definitely avoid travelling again with progo travel through booking.com
