It wasn’t clear on the app how and who to contact following a NHS referral. When finally got through I have to now get another referral letter as wording on original was also talking about what GP was doing . My records keep refer to London options when my details are correct and I live in Northamptonshire

Person I talked to was super helpful in rectifying a situation I had where somehow I had been booked into two different appointments with different doctors to diagnose the same issue. They managed to contact each individual department/person and work out for me which appointment was the correct one to attend and which one to cancel.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m genuinely shocked by my experience with Vitality Private Healthcare. My doctor advised I needed an urgent scan, and I contacted Vitality immediately. It’s now been four days (almost five) and, despite submitting a doctor’s letter and explaining the urgency, no one has called me back.
I’ve spoken to at least ten members of staff, raised two formal complaints, and requested a senior callback — nothing happens beyond endless apologies. It feels like there’s simply no one available to take responsibility.
My NHS GP managed to issue two letters within 24 hours, yet my private healthcare provider has done nothing.
For the sake of an extra £5–£10 a month, I would strongly recommend AXA or Bupa instead — they’ve always been prompt, professional, and genuinely caring.
Vitality has been anything but. If I could click 0 I would.
