Great customer service
I don’t love having to ring to cancel but it made it worth it with the lovely guy I spoke to, we had a great chat. SO helpful and he is in fact a Yorkshire pudding on his Christmas dinner kinda guy so win win. No shade for wanting to cancel, unfortunately my dad (who’s very picky) wasn’t a fan. Defo would reorder for someone else in the future tho especially if you did one off boxes. Ps if anyone from customer services reads this, can you let me know if hes looking for a fun Yorkshire pud loving girlfriend!? (Joking not joking)

Cancellation process is a joke
Got an offer box, thought I’d give these a try. All fine, but looked at the subscription etc and can’t warrant the expenditure. However, their tag line of “cancel anytime” is a somewhat misleading one. You go to your account to cancel and they go through several pages of “are you sure” before being told to phone. I emailed stating phone calls are difficult for me due to auditory issues, and to please cancel and remove all my details from their system (I’ve seen notes from people who said they finally cancelled but continued to get harassed by the company).
They have proceeded to call me daily despite me telling them three times now that phone calls are not an option. Apparently they can phone but can’t bother returning an email. I wanted to cancel before but their cancellation process has made me adamant that I will not use nor recommend this company to anyone.
Great Beer, Awesome customer service
Great example of excellent customer service today. I got to speak to a really great human (Michael) within seconds of phoning the easy-to-find customer phone line. Michaels friendly manner put me at ease, and he sounded like he was really enjoying his day and his job. Michael was able to help me with sorting out a pause on my subscription with no drama. He even rewarded my loyalty (i've been with beer52 since 2020 apparently!) and made my day! Thanks Michael, and Beer 52,
