Not a waterproof
I had the X3 for a few years. Last week, I went to the river for a swim and for some videos; the water went inside (I did not even go deeper than 2.5 meters). I reached out to the support they gave me their standard answer!! Honestly, this is so frustrating! And based on how bad their support, I will buy the DJI 360.

Do not consider
I purchased a insta 360 x5 and the invisible stick with extra support mount. The stick was not even fully extended (which they recommend) and broke in only 2 months of ownership causing my camera to be destroyed during the ride. I’m extremely dissatisfied with the quality and costumer service as they would leave me on delivered for multiples days at a time. Turns out they are unwilling to replace neither the stick or camera due to exceeding 80kmh. Will not be returning and I strongly suggest others to go with other brands

I placed an order on 6th October and I am afraid I haven’t received the item. Somehow along the delivery the item wrongly delivered to Royal Mail distribution and i have raised this immediately to Insta360 team. Since then i have been chasing on any update and i get the same answer. Still investigating. The item is a tracked package and Insta360 should have been compensated after 7 days and i have been requesting to cancel the order and give me a full refund but I still got no success. It is disappointing that a customer needs to endure all the hassle and frustration for this issue.

Insta360 sales and support are always available and quick to respond to concerns and questions.
Deliveries have arrived well packaged and on time.
Bad quality material and costumer support
Insta 360 makes marketing of the insta 360 X4 as a good Action camera but in reality the camera is too heavy. They show on their website using a insta 360 X4 on a motorcycle attached to the action invisible stick. The angle of filming is amazing but for that you probably will sacrafice your camera as the stick can break easily. It was the second action invisible stick that broke with less than 4 hours of use and customer support is realy bad. You have to insist, to be right. In my opinion you will be better served with the GoPro or DJI actions cameras. I will probably publish some photos and videos of my experience.

No delivery - no updates :(
Ordered camera in UK - two weeks passed no order received. Contacted support and they were not able to confirm when I can actually obtain a camera. I believe it should be easy to post another package to London to make sure it is delivered in two-three days...

Terrific infrastructure and built community. Great seamless cloud service. Good engagement level with customers... and the jewel in the crown.... the products and software.. you guys Rock.
I know have the Insta360 x5, and the flow pro 2 gimble... I feel a sense of pride every time I use them.
Only element I don't like, is the gold loyalty points, they are too low a value for our levels of loyalty and spend. Only minor element I can say.
Keep going and I cant wait for the Autumn s/w update.

I absolutely despise this software!
I've owned several 360 camera from various manufactures who all use their own software bespoke to their product. Every other brand I've owned has worked fine, no troubles. I've owned the Insta 360 software now for over a year.
I have problems with the 360 camera itself crashing, this happens occasionally when I'm taking multiple 360 images in relatively quick succession. I also have an issue with the touch screen in the sense it's very easy to change the settings by accident just by handling the camera.
The software however is my biggest gripe. It is full of glitches and constantly crashes. You spend hours sorting it out, deleting apps and other software it doesn't like only to be greeted days later with a software update and the problem starts all over again! I've had enough of Insta 360 now and won't be buying another.
Insta 360, Thank you for replying to my review. In essence, the software is updated almost weekly. Its a frustrating task simply to stay up to date. The other concern is when I do update, will it work again afterwards? The answer is sometimes 'No'!
The camera controls are integrated into a touch screen. It very, very easy when handling the camera to accidentally change the settings only to discover this afterwards when reviewing the images . The chance to take a once in a lifetime opportunity photo, I wouldn't leave it to chance with the Insta 360!
While we are on the subject of just how poor this camera and software is, since leaving my first review, my software is once again playing up and crashing again! it is updated, as requested weekly!

Very poor communication from support
We bought an Insta after 10 years of gopro. I use it primarily for Skydiving and base jumping. We were recently in Fiji and Australia. We used the insta for snorkeling in various places. It stopped working while Snokeling. It wont even turn on. It was just over a month out of warranty when it failed. We have contacted Indta explaining it should not fail when its being used well within it parameters, and according to consumer rights it should last at least 2 years. They responded to our first email, but several emails later we still haven't had a response. Weather they are taking the product back or not communication would of made this whole process a lot easier. Im going back to gopro 👍 Id just like to add this is the first time I have ever given a negative review, and that my Ten Years with Gopro I never had this problem.
