Shameless company. I cancelled an order within five minutes because just eat tried to charge me £45 for two medium domino’s cheese pizzas. Order was cancelled but they still took my money and refuse... See more

Pretty sure just eats drivers simply…
Pretty sure just eats drivers simply help themselves to your food, knowing that you'll get might get a refund for missing food?
Anyone else feel the same way?
cold food arrived
cold food arrived, not happy but got refund for some
I wish I could give them less
I wish I could give them less. the site is set up to re-set on preparing your order. They don't have enough drivers and shouldn't be taking orders they can't fulfil. Call the restaurant - not even had the order through because no driver assigned... website says driver assigned and order being prepared- Lie
DELETED MY JUST EAT ACCOUNT!
DELETED MY JUST EAT ACCOUNT!! Avoid these thieving.. lying bunch of fools!!!
Made an order earlier and was from a business 2 miles away from me...Initially said delivery 10-20 mins.Delayed... Delayed.. Delayed well in excess of 1hr 30min.... No delivery drivers available... Or so they claimed. Typical case of... We had your money we don't care... Cancel the order you will be charged the full amount... PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND AVOID THIS LOT!!!
50% of the time the person delivering the items can barely speak a word of English.... Or always late with NO apology or explanation.. Clearly Just Eats simply do not care and fob you off when you rightly complain !!!
If I could give 0 Stars.. I would have NO hesitation!!!
Just Eat used to be just ok, now awful
Just Eat used to be ok, a few years ago. Now they charge too much, extra fees for awful service. I have ordered food to have tonight, order placed at 6pm with an ETA of 6:30-6:40 Over an hour later and the ETA is now 8:50-9:20pm. If I could give minus stars I would. Never using Just Eat again.
Thieves
Ordered from McDonald's cressex high Wycombe branch and when my order arrived it was missing practically everything, all i got through was 3x 250ml waters, 2x double cheeseburgers and a big mac, missed out 3 happy meals and 3 medium fries, messaged just eat and they're refusing to refund me, McDonald's compensated me with 2 vouchers at least so they're obviously better that Just eat in offering compensation.
Twice in one night!
Twice in one night, ordered from two different restaurants, both times the driver picked up the order drove to my flat, stopped just down the road for 5 - 10 minutes, failed to contact me and then just completed my order and drove off. I received nothing, I got one refund from the first order but they failed to do so on the second. Its not a delivery service anymore its nothing but a scam. If your in the UK use Uber Eats instead, they are much more reliable, their drivers contact you if you get stuck and they have fantastic customer support.
3hrs 13min for the food to arrive…
3hrs 13min for the food to arrive wrong. It was so late I'd left for work. No customer service or after care. No full Refund despite only 50% for food I couldn't eat as the food arrived arriving so late I was at work. Imagine this. Don't use unless you want to get conned and be hungry.
Food delivered cold late
Food delivered cold late. Part credit refund offered £3 when meal was £20. Will be recouping money through bank and then going through trading standards and taking them to court this company is deceitful immoral and goes against every consumer right. I’m concerned with the data they are entrusted with quite frankly and I’m aiming to get them shut down. Termination of contact options, failing to have contactable options, unwilling to provide legal details this company is corrupt to the core
DELETE THE APP FOR YOUR OWN SANITY AND…
DELETE THE APP FOR YOUR OWN SANITY AND DO NOT ORDER FROM JUST STARVE. NO MATTER HOW HONEST YOU ARE THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU MONEY BACK WHEN MAJORITY OF THE ORDERS COME IN WRONG OR NONE OF THE ITEMS YOU ACTUALLY ORDERED IT’S ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND DAYLIGHT ROBBERY AND THEY WILL NOT HEAR THE END OF THIS
Your drivers
Your drivers. You should enforce 1 pick up, 1 delivery. But they dont...They have 3 other companies they use, picking up and delivering for them aswell! Hence making the food go cold for your customers! And visa versa. Dont get me started on Mcdonalds, thats another review......
Deleted my Just Eat account as I…
Deleted my Just Eat account as I ordered food that told me delivery was going to be 10-20 mins. 40 mins later still sitting here with the time still saying 10 minutes away, called the provider who told me I can't cancel because my order had already been prepared, it was a wrap that is made daily so not made fresh when I ordered. No way to contact just eat or get a refund.
Food arrive after an hour and 10 minutes by which time I'd made myself a sandwich
I just won't use companies that have no customer services or rip people off..
Poor quality AI systems and client service team unresponsive for days -Order No: 693413915 - 9th October 2025
Order No: 693413915
Date: 9th Oct 2025
So we ordered from our favourite takeaway via Just Eat and they ended up taking a touch longer (15 mins or so) which wasn't so bad, but then they delivered the wrong item.
*We ordered 1 x Sweet and Sour King Prawn in battered balls
x: Instead the kitchen gave us a S n S Chicken Battered balls instead.
We contacted Just Eat immeidately > then 12 hours later given auto rejection for even the extra 30pence we had paid for the more expensive item (King Prawns) and no apology or explanation (seemed like A.I).
We then emailed them again using webform and this time the team seemed human but it's been circa 5 x days since with today being Friday and no word whatsoever.
The team is either understaffed or grossly incompetent at Just Eat Uk.
Next time should anything like this occur, we'll probably just bypass Just Eat altogether and contact the restaurant directly, perhaps even from start to finish.
They asked me via their automated system for client rating feedback about Just Eats service > I gave 1 star on everything and explained why > been around a day or so and no follow up on that either.
Aside from when they offer vouchers, I think after this experience, I'll just phone or use the vendors private website directly and avoid this awful platform.
I wish I could give No Star's because…
I wish I could give No Star's because they serve up cold food, wrong orders and I've even had drivers parked in the middle of the road calling me because they cannot read the Flat Block Names,And when you complain nothing can be done.
You're paying good and over the top money for sub standard food.
Do Not Use Just Eat uk
Thieves, diabolical customer service
Received the completely incorrect order and they think this is acceptable.
Thieves incompetent and absolutely shameful customer service
I received an incorrect order, I had just travelled for 14 hours. My nephew was very hungry and he didn’t get anything because he requested chicken nuggets and I received burgers so you have stolen my money! I contacted straight away because of the error but they just wanted the money, no refund! You cannot just steal money!
So I spent 96 pound on a grocery shop
So I spent 96 pound on a grocery shop, waited over 2 hours, had a alert saying delivered, which shopping wasn't delivered, contacted customer services and also the store, was then told to sort out with just eat by the store, and then told if just eat that it was delivered, when it clearly wasn't, I asked for proof which they wouldn't give me the proof, can't believe they took my money, how they get away with this is beyond me as its nearly 100 pound they took now I have to go a week without food and hope that my work place will feed me for the next week
I would give zero stars
I would give zero stars, food items missing and yet again suprise suprise no compensation, rediculous
Disgusting service the drivers are…
Disgusting service the drivers are stealing people's orders and all they are saying is they will refund it not taking it consideration we had to wait one hour then marked delivered and no where to be seen stolen by their driver!! Totally shameful who does this kind of bs now my kids have gone to bed hungry and upset. Hope you choke on it!!!
I never had my order delivered (the…
I never had my order delivered (the restaurant rang me after accepting my order and taking my money to say they’d closed) and I missed an unknown 24hr cut off to raise a complaint and I am now not eligible for a refund. Ridiculous when I never received the order.
Not great
Seems most companies like this are going downhill in the customer service department. I deleted my account this evening when I ordered my food for it to be incorrect and inedible. Uploaded the photos, gave the evidence etc etc to get a email back stating nothing they can do, no compensation, no sympathy and that was that no reply after. I can totally understand maybe being stricter as people may take the mick but when you're uploading evidence clearly showing what you got and you ordered something else what do you need to prove these days? Especially when you’re paying a service fee on your order you expect to feel some sort of security that if things go wrong they will step in to help. I’ll order direct from the stores I like to eat at now to save the hassle.
