Well here we are again three years ago I took out 3 bonds. A 1 year, a 2 year and a 3 year bond. In a few days the three year bond matures. As with my comments from when the other bonds matured. This firm are no better NOW. I have had to give my bond mature instructions 4 times.
(ADDED AFTER THE ABOVE REMARKS)Kent Reliance has contacted me today(9th October 2025) with a very surprising offer and explanation of this years misunderstandings. Although I am still not too happy I do feel they have tried to sort things out and have offered compensation which I have accepted. So thank you K.R. I am happy to amend my star rate on this firm.

I chose Kent Reliance to transfer a matured ISA based on the published rates on offer. A week after completing all the required forms I received an eMail requesting additional information. This was provided the same day, both electronically and in "hard copy". Having heard nothing after 5 days I followed this up with a phone call which was unable to explain why there was a delay. After a further 8 days I received a phone call (at 14:25 on a Saturday). After checking this was genuine, the further details were sent both by eMail and "hard copy", again following this up by a phone call the following Monday. After a further 2 weeks I was advised that the "hard copy" had not been received, that the eMail (with a pdf of the document) could not be accepted, and that as a month had elapsed since the initial application this had now been cancelled. I formally reported this as a complaint, but now 2 weeks later am still awaiting the promised response. (Later added: in fairness to Kent Reliance, I subsequently received a response which upheld the complaint and apologised for the situation - thank you)
With this experience, and now the application closed, I raised an application with another ISA provider. This was fully completed within a week.
I would strongly recommend that Kent Reliance improve their communications and administrative processes.

I requested my ISA to be transferred to another bank on the maturity date of 30/09/25. They failed to do so and also failed to pay the monthly interest for September.
I have now registered a complaint regarding this and will get the financial ombudsman to look into this once I receive the final decision letter regarding my complaint.
Also their India based call centre are giving incorrect advice when you send messages.
Please avoid investing with this bank.

Good interest rate on fixed savings account and very helpful staff who take their time to explain all the jargon.

Problems crediting my new savings account. Something to do with 'platforms'. I have other accounts with Kent Reliance and have not had issues crediting them in the past.
Also if you offer an online service, let's have an app.

After sending three secure messages with very clear instructions I keep on getting idiots who reply but do not read or follow the clear instructions.
How can this pretend bank continue like this??
Yet again I write a bad review here and ask for someone who is literate to phone me ASAP.

Spent 5 months going through process of trying to buy our forever home, with constant delays, bad communication and utter incompetence. Chased for two months for exchange and completion dates and was told not possible by developer. Now they want to exchange in 2 days and to make matters worse, KR has brought the expiry state of mortgage offer forward by 3 weeks, giving us a week to exchange and complete. They never once told us this and would not offer and extension when we told them of the delays 2 months ago. I have serious health issues and this has landed me in hospital. We are going to more than likely lose the house we have spent 8 months going through the process and our hearts send on. Avoid KR, they don’t care, charge outrageous amounts and have no compassion or understanding for their “customers”. It’s not worth losing a house over. Go with a lender that cares and honours their offer. Heartbroken

I have been a saver with Kent Reliance for a number of years now. They offer very competitive savings interest rates and a good number of relevant products. The customer service has always been very good. I am always informed quickly by message when a withdrawal or deposit has been made. KR keeps me up to date by message with rate changes as soon as they happen. It's good to know there is a branch to visit if necessary.

I have been a customer of KRBS for many years and currently have several different products with them. Their website is not state of the art technically but I can do everything I need to do online. I have rarely needed to telephone them, but when I have done so, the agents with whom I have spoken have been friendly and helpful. Their rates on the products that I am interested in are consistently good and I receive written details of my options in good time when fixed term products are due for renewal. I have not experienced any problems or delays with KRBS as I have with other institutions. They may not have the profile or TV presence of other banks but they seem solid and efficient to me.
