Absolutely useless customer service no one have clue. I ordered new sim deal only which cost only £8 amount but they make it like an ordering Boeing plane . I supposed to receive it after 24 hours to... See more

worst network ever!
switched over from vodafone after using it for years for a better price, biggest bloody mistake i’ve made despite having 5g and a top contract never used a more useless and countless network in my life before first the customer service lied about a few things that they didn’t follow through with, then there’s no internet despite have 2-3bars of 5g in so many locations never had this issue with vodafone thank fock my contract is over soon will be going elsewhere and never using O2 again.
Customer service is the worst I've…
Customer service is the worst I've experienced. Used to be the best thing about o2 but has gone well down hill. Spent 1 hour on hold to change number over only to go through the hole procedure to then at the end be told this isn't the right department (so why go through all the details..) to then just be put and left on hold. do yourself a favour and just go with the cheapest company
O2 network keeps failing but no help from customer service
Been with O2 for years, but the signal’s gone terrible.
In the Midlands, I barely get one bar inside the house, even though their map says the coverage is good. I’ve sent a bunch of complaints - no real reply. Looks like there’s a dead zone around here.
Same story on trips, like in the Lake District phone shows full 5G, but no internet at all. Feels like the network can’t handle more people.
Really poor service for such a big company. EE and Vodafone work much better in the same spots.
It's one of the worst mobile providers!
I can't believe this sham of a company is allowed to trade. I have closed my account and moved to a new company and given over my PAC code. I just seen that they have not cancelled my account and still taken a monthly payment out. To try an speak to a human is impossible and I'm told to call 202 from my O2 phone which I don't have!
Horrendous experience
Horrendous experience. I have used 02 for the last 18 months for my phone contract, but a few weeks ago, my phone broke (a problem with the system, not a fault of my own). The Manchester city centre store sent my phone for repair, leaving me without a phone, but promised I would receive multiple email updates and then have a phone back by the latest Friday, 10th October.
After receiving no updates at all, I called 02 today and was put on hold by four different people. After 90 minutes, they went 'duno it's in a queue for repair'. After promising I would have a phone back (repaired or replaced by Friday), no update as to how long the queue is, when I can expect it back or any apologies or offer of compensation.
I have asked for updates as I am paying £75 a month for a phone and have been left with none, no communication, nothing. Absolutely disgusting customer service, do not use 02.
Coverage calculator map is absolute…
Coverage calculator map is absolute load of tosh. Love to meet an O2 representative at my daughters new house location, absolute dead spot as is the road that leads to the estate - yet map show excellent indoor and out. Is this for government subsidy purposes or something??
Terrible network
Terrible network, literally hasn’t worked since we joined and now charging us double the price of the phone to cancel our contract, avoid O2
Absolutely painful trying to log into…
Absolutely painful trying to log into your o2 account with all the security, especially when you don't have access into your old email address from your last phone upgrade ! Absolutely DOG SH*TE
Acct was hacked
Acct was hacked, rang up and reported the fraud, they took no action. Rang again they taised a fraud case. Sim wouldnt take incoming messages or texts so they reset sim. Didnt work. Decided to leave but they cant give me a pac code as theres a fraud flag on the acct. impossible to deal with, customer definitely doesnt come first in any process or prodedures. Will never use again 🤦♂️
Will take as much from you as they can, and give little back
They act exactly like you would imagine a massive corporation to act. Overcharged, for a terrible service, and charge an extortionate amount to leave. Even though I was with them for 5 years.
I've had enough with the signal
I've had enough with the signal, the 5G is the worst, I pay for a service that I'm not getting.
To top it off I decided to use the app to see how long I've got left on my contract and wow, what a horrendous experience. I couldn't even get logged in, constantly asking me questions and I had 7 verification emails I had to click. I bailed after that, I'll look in a browser.
Bad in every way
Bad in every way. In particular, trying to get help from them will make you wish you never bothered. They owe me £5 and it isn't worth calling them to get it back.
"I am writing to express my extreme…
"I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with O2 mobile service. For a considerable period, I have experienced consistently poor signal quality, making it difficult to use my phone reliably for calls and data. What makes this situation even more unacceptable is the fact that O2 is attempting to charge me an 'Early Termination Charge' of £17.75 to switch providers, as shown in the text message I received. This is outrageous; I am being charged to leave a service that is not fit for purpose. This is a joke, and I expect a satisfactory resolution to this matter, including the waiver of any termination fees."
Why are you charging me 3 times more…
Why are you charging me 3 times more than Lebara mobile for the same data and call package. Prices increase yearly as well, will be requesting a PAC code.
So my nightmare started 4th Oct in the…
So my nightmare started 4th Oct in the morning. I had just come off the O2 app was just browsing looking at deals, didn't make a purchase. A few mins later at 9.51 I got a verification code 397296, I ignored it but that was followed by another, and another and another. So using the landline I rang O2 CS. While I was on waiting to be answered, my mobile rang with the nbr 0161 388 8217 at 10.41. The v/mail I could see coming up on the phone was calling from O2 needing a verification code. I never answered & my mobile shows I never answered. Just before O2 picked up my call on the land line I received a text confirming an order at 11.09! Once on the phone to O2 I basically got nowhere except to be told it was an eSim. I asked that they block it to which he said that was not possible!
I watched as they blocked me out of my Gmail account (still trying to get that back) you have been hacked ha ha ha. I managed to get the store, who I believe should of done more, but at least the lass in there gave me a PAUG so at least I had some form of contact.
A company is only as good as how it deals with issues. O2 failed to protect me, failed to block the eSim I never ordered until the 7th Oct, by then they had opened up credit cards in my name, tried to access my accounts having taken over my email they had access to personal information including my home address. O2 therefore breached GDPR guidance by sending something that has shown to have significant repercussions on my privacy & security. When I went into that store to say I had been hacked it should of been shut down. When I called nearly every day that should have flagged & despite the requests for their fraud team to call me they failed. I have only had a text & letter to say it is now closed, the hell it is. No explanation how it happened. I do have some record of the calls, clearly not by me. I do know the eSim went to an iPhone 15. I know that Seb in the Milton Keynes store is a decent human being & did is upmost to help me on the 10th after I was advised to get my device checked for any malware. Because guess what they refused to give me a new mobile number straight away or allow me to keep the PAUG moving that onto my current plan. FAILED. I do know that Ravon working from South Africa is a decent human, another who tried to help me as best he could. And the call center lady in Singapore another decent human who took the details to get O2 fraud to call which they failed to do. DO NOT EXPECT O2 TO KEEP YOU SAFE FROM HACKERS!!
bad delivery
Just bad.
Ordered a phone on O2, it said DHL would deliver next day. I stayed home and waited. Nothing. Then it decided to deliver on the next day without telling me, as if people have nothing to do except waiting for the delivery. Then it said no one was answering the door.
I called O2, spend half an hour on phone to rearrange another delivery. Then on two consecutive days in a row, I received a message saying driver was delayed so the delivery would happen the next day. I still haven't received anything.
If you want your business to survive, avoid DHL
Yahya - Uxbridge Store - Very Helpful
I’d like to share my experience at the Uxbridge store. When my new phone failed to update from my old one, the first staff member I spoke to advised me to visit the tech store downstairs and pay them to fix it. I explained that I had just purchased the phone from O2, so that suggestion is ludicrous! why should I have to pay someone else to resolve the issue?
Thankfully, Yahya stepped in. He approached me, asked what the problem was, and took the time to sort it out himself. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and polite throughout. Had I followed the initial advice, I would’ve been out of pocket unnecessarily!
Yahya truly went above and beyond and it was appreciated - thank you!
O2 have the worst network ever Avoid
O2 have the worst network ever.
I called O2 to sort out poor signal for months on end I keep getting told, we are turning off 3g or repairs in my area. The app is crap, chats freeze, no reply, keep getting cut off.
I called almost two weeks ago to try and sort it out. The call handler said I have no access to the 5g network after 1 year. They then sent me a new esim, that took 2-24hrs and then I lost all signal no network what s ever, as the esim never worked. This was for 7 days no signal. I had to call a few times new esim never worked, anointer ew esim never worked to try and sort this. on the last attempt I got signal back but still not worthy of the word signal.
The customer services are the worst. Nobody has a clue what they are doing.
I had to report them and try to resolve my issue with RESOLVER website as nobody would assist or call me after making a formal compliant.
Now O2 are calling me and ending the call after 1 ring. what a joke. I called again today, the call handler said she can put me through to the correct department, then later in the call after my complaint she said she never said that. Well lets see what the recording says shall we..
I have O2 switch up and have never used it for any new phone upgrade. They are just interested in upgrading selling more and ripping me off. I have a labara sim running along side of this O2 sim because I lost faith in O2, and that is Vodafone that line works fine, Just O2.
I can't wait till me contract ends and I can leave O2 and joins a company worth while Vodafone or EE. I would downgrade my package but then id be trapped even longer into a longer contract, NOT A CHANCE.
I am currently in the process of a claim. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
I wish I looked at reviews before I joined O2. Shocking to say the least. 1 Star and that Is only because I Have to leave a star to write this review. I was on hold for over 1 hour.. the only time the signal is good is when I'm home on WIFI.. I may as well go back to landlines at this rate.
I mostly get 3g everywhere I go, when i get 4g or 5g the sites and pages have to think about it..
This company is a complete joke I been…
This company is a complete joke I been paying my bill all the time and when I’m on the phone I cannot access my internet what so ever I have put complaint after complaint in and nothing I also wanted a PAC code because I want to leave and they couldn’t even sort that out the call centre people don’t understand bugger all and try to fob you off the need a UK Only call centre not overseas to people that can’t do there jobs right and the simple tasks avoid O2 at all costs they will be reported to the ombudsman service and I’ll also be requesting the are even closed down and may even take them to court paying for a service that is not provided
Doubled the price overnight for no reason
O2 wrote me one day to say they are doubling the price of my contract. No explanation. I contacted them and they said they would get back to me. I chased but nothing, just more expense.
