In order for them to stand by their…
In order for them to stand by their warranty, I have to keep a copy of the rcpt for the life of the warranty. Battery died a 14 months after purchase (used the fan once).
.
Clearly this is a cop out.
Bought trimmer 20years ago and love it…
Bought trimmer 20years ago and love it does all i ask it to do . This year batterys going bad but instead of buying new batteries I bought new trimmer and blower combo what a mistake the first week I used trimmer found out it was a piece of shit so I used the old trimmer with new batteries second week I tried the blower which ran for about 5 minutes and quit so it went in trash 🗑 so I will use old trimmer with new batteries till it quit then look for another company to buy from. Thank you for nothing
Could be so much better with a little thought
The product I am reviewing is the WORX Gutterpro Universal Gutter Cleaning Kit WA4096 and I am using it with WG 543E (which is a 5* great bit of kit)
The good news.
It was delivered within 48 hours!
A bit of looking around resulted in finding a code and getting £8 off the rather excessive price of £50 for the kit of a few pieces of extruded plastic!
Each of the 4 extension tubes that come with it are identical meaning you can use any combination and don’t have to use the max configuration to do a first floor gutter.
The not so good news:
I think this must have been designed for the US market as the diameter of the end curved tube is too great to fit easily into a UK gutter without catching on the roof tiles and/or gutter clips. A small extension tube reducing the diameter would enable one to place the nozzle into the gutter and blast everything out.
At maximum length, the kit is almost too long for a ground floor/ garage gutter but NOT long enough to reach the higher first floor gutters of the average UK home. At 6’3” I had to stand on a platform giving me an extra couple of feet reach to get the top tube near the gutter.
At full extension there is a considerable amount of ‘wobble’ in the tubes. Others have described it as fragility but whilst the poles are sturdy the device can be difficult to guide around the gutter clips and roof tiles due to the waving about. This seems to be in part down to the fixture near the ‘wind’ source being able to rotate. The slack involved is exaggerated by both the air coming out of the top pipe at speed and the length of the kit. I am contemplating fixing something like glass fibre tent poles to give it a little extra rigidity and maybe taping some of the joints.
Though the length of the kit seems to create some problems, it is a great shame that there doesn’t seem to be an extra tube available as it would then make it suitable for UK houses (if stability doesn’t get out of hand)
The debris in my gutters was wet when I tried the device out. The contents were spread pretty far and wide when I ran it along my garage gutter and I would expect when dry, what parts can be reached will be fully removed even faster.
All in all, with adaptions and platforms, I think it may do the job I’m hoping it will, but a few mods for the UK market would make it so much more effective and user friendly. WORX might consider selling single tubes (unless they have tried adding one on and found additional problems), it would help a lot of UK customers.
Lightweight pole hedge trimmer
Worx lightweight pole hedge trimmer recently purchased as a replacement for my petrol hedge trimmer which was becoming to heavy for extended use.
Given the description advises it cuts branch size up to 16mm my experience was that anything around 12mm or higher was slow to cut, so ended up using my petrol trimmer.
I had hoped to reduce my petrol trimmer to 10% - 20% of use, in reality I will only be able to use the worx trimmer for lighter duties.
In addition I found the location of the safety switch & main switch positions were not the easiest to operate
Received a hedge trimmer on 16th…
Received a hedge trimmer on 16th August-I requested an instruction to return it as too heavy for me. After numerous emails I am still waiting. Tried phoning and asked to leave a message but messages are full. Now after sending another email I got an auto return saying they might get back to me in 2-3 working days. What about the 12 days since I sent the first message. Terrible service.
Worst customer service I've ever…
Worst customer service I've ever experienced—this company blatantly refuses to honor warranty laws. Our robot lawn mower stopped working after just 35 days when a failed software update rendered it completely useless. Despite repeated emails and inquiries, the company stopped responded to our emails after they realized the machine can not be fixed remotely. We’re now filing a formal complaint with Test Aankoop (Belgium) and other regulatory authorities. Avoid this company and their tools.
Awful customer service, not surprised at other reviews
I've had an awful experience with Worx. I started buying their (generally very good) tools earlier in the summer, using Amazon.
The Worx website itself had some good deals on last week, so I decided to buy direct - I wish I hadn't!
The problems I had:
1. Poor website with access issues.
2. Order lost by courier.
3. Customer Services number goes straight to voicemail, and the mailbox is too full to even take a message.
4. I got through to someone in technical support who advised that all Customer Service staff are now on annual leave and will be back in two weeks!
If there is this much trouble buying a tool, I dread to think what it would be like if I actually needed to make a warranty claim!
I'll start the process of returning my small collection of Worx tools to Amazon and buy from a different brand.
Such a shame as the tools themselves seem great.
BATTERY WILL NOT CHARGE AFTER LESS THAN 2 MONTHS OF PURCHASE…
I bought a weedeater with battery & charger 2 months ago. About 3 weeks ago, (or longer) the battery will not charge, the battery or charger. I can't figure which is defective. I cannot find info on how to contact the company, nor can I order replacements from the website. The entire website, along with the equipment is a complete waste of time. BUYER BEWARE!
After 2 years
After 2 years, my worx WG751.2 Nitro mower on/off switch failed. I called customer service and received the runaround until they told me the switch assembly is not available. I asked if the switch for the next generation of the mower was available and was told that isn't available. I asked about a replacement and was told that neither mower was available even though they are still selling it. Basically, the warranty on a Worx tool is useless. It's a made in China product and they don't stock parts. Typical for how these sellers operate. This the second Worx tool that's failed. Buyer beware!!
26 July 25 - Worx contacted me and after giving them some information, they sent me a brand new
WG752 mower. I did have to pay for shipping ($9.95) per warranty. So, I have reconsidered their warranty as good! The new mower is improved, however the bail switch is the same. Suggestion for consumers - when shutting the mower off, do not let the bail spring back. Release slowly.
I am writing to express my complete…worx
I am writing to express my complete dissatisfaction with the WORX Landroid Vision WR206E robot lawnmower, purchased about a year ago (June 2024).
From the very first use, the device has exhibited serious and constant malfunctions, absolutely unacceptable for a product in this category and price range. Among the main problems I encountered:
Recurring camera error, which completely blocks the robot, preventing it from being restarted remotely or via the app.
The robot's inability to locate the charging base, forcing me to constantly reposition it manually.
Frequent blockages in overgrown areas of the garden, requiring manual intervention.
Total lack of autonomy and truly automatic operation, even under normal conditions and after several firmware updates.
I followed all the instructions in the manuals and on technical forums (cleaning, cable checks, resetting, reconfiguring zones, reinstalling the base, etc.), but to no avail.
The robot is currently stuck in the middle of the lawn again due to a camera error, and I can't intervene remotely via the app because I'm away for three weeks.
I consider the product to have a serious defect; the product does not meet the minimum quality and reliability requirements.
Everything started off OK
Everything started off OK. Ordered a 40V brushless lawn mower when 25% offer was on. Machine ordered on Saturday delivered late morning of Tuesday. Excellent I thought. After trying for two hours to get the lower handle attached to the machine I gave up as the captive nut wasn't located in line with the hole in the body. Requested an exchange by email within three hours of delivery. Had a nice email from Karen and collection arranged. This was done on Friday morning. Nothing heard by the following Wednesday so emailed again to ask when my replacement would be sent. Received email from unnamed staff member saying my refund was being processed. Presume then that Worx do not want customers. I just wanted a cordless lawnmower. Very disappointed as have other Worx tools.
Update, refund in my bank account after 3 days so no problems there. Wasn't even given the opportunity for a replacement. Now if I want the same lawnmower I need to pay the full price as no offers on it now. Not paying an extra £70 just because Worx do not want customers.
No matter how good a product operates
No matter how good a product operates, customer service is non negotiable! Worx has not provided any contact information for customer service. This behavior is unacceptable by any retail company.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO PURCHASE PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY!
Product registration is impossible
Product registration is impossible. Trying to contact somebody alive you have more chance finding life on Mars
Customer service is absolutely…
Customer service is absolutely terrible. I was trying to get a broken lawnmower replaced under warranty. I probably had 20 conversations where my claim was "elevated", paid to cover the shipping twice, with NO RESULTS...
Absolute joke
They offer discount codes which can’t be used on items that are for sale on their site if it’s a sale price, you can’t even use a welcome discount, no wonder the company only has 2 stars, oh and this isn’t stated anywhere within the code offers.
Do. Not. Buy. Worx.
Do not Buy - WORX VISION LAWN MOWER -
This piece of crap Never Ever functioned properly, it will get lost, trapped, stuck under cars and everything else not wanted but will NEVER return to Home.
I carried this junk back literally every day, waited for updates and hoped it would eventually become more intelligent - but time has come Nothing changes.
The battery died after 1 1/2 years as well so that’s another 80€ on top of the 2000€ WASTE.
Do. Not. Buy. Worx.
Worx doesn’t Work
UPDATE:
I bought a Mammotion 800 and I can’t believe how well it all works - it does its job, returns home, has an integrated flash light to work at night, you can drive it yourself with the App AND even SEE what your robot sees!
If you are looking for a lawn mower - Extreme Recommendation for Mammotion !!!
Customer support is horrible, not a good company to deal withhorrible
Customer support is horrible, no tech support. They do not know their product well at all. They sent the wrong part, not even close to what I had ask for! After spending money and waiting I called again and they don't sell the part and actually wanted to sell me another weedeater, not even a year old. REDICULOUS, IF YOU WANT A WEEDEATER COMPANY THAT HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT THEN BUY IT. DON'T GET SCAMED INTO THEIR ADVERTISING THAT THEY CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
Planned Obsolescence?
Have purchased 2 sets of Worx tools they worked ok for about 5 years. The last was their discontinued 56V series. Now the batteries have died and to replace them will cost more than 2 tools I purchased. I will buy another string trimmer & lawn blower, but it won’t be a Worx product. They don’t support their products with replacement batteries long enough.
Had an issue with a drill called…
Had an issue with a drill called customer service and they told me to buy another one cause mine was out of warranty.
Additionally she was very rude and when I asked for her name and title she hung up on me. STAY AWAY FROM THEM
Adequate for my garden
Recently bought the cordless lawnmower together with a strimmer, was a little cautious as other reviewers had mentioned the battery power, yes it is not long lasting but enough to cut a large size lawn. The strimmer however best I’ve used, did the job much better than the flymo I’d recently purchased which only after a couple of mins the wire broke and found it fiddly.
