Bought a miele recently and on the box it states you receive free bags, upon opening box it states uk only so it's false advertising, contacted miele and got nowhere, will never buy from them again, another company only interested in profit not the people who give them their profit. You can see from the reply below they contacted me because of this review otherwise no contact, now I've received an email saying they have none in stock and could I get back onto them in a FEW WEEKS, pathetic company.

The professionalism of Miele's Store…
The professionalism of Miele's Store Assistant Manager, Bernadette Clarke.
Her patience, courtesy and understanding of our needs was exemplary and of a high standard seldom found nowadays. She and other staff, with whom I interacted are the bedrock of a customer dedicated Company.
Delivery of the Miele washing machine was prompt and as promised. Anyone thinking of buying a Miele product should deal directly with the Company and experience how a customer focused Company operates.

Utterly disgraceful customer support
Utterly disgraceful customer support - my wife and I have both sent numerous emails regarding a service visit at the end of last year, and have made countless phone calls. My wife has even visited the Miele office to try to find someone to help. No one ever gets back to us. This evening I called and asked for a manager and was put on hold for over 20 minutes.. I am about to write to Miele head office in Germany to tell them how their Irish subsidiary is so incredibly incompetent and does not care about customers who spend substantial money with them.

Great Service
My Miele fridge-freezer delivered during the week.Great communication from the delivery driver (Paul) with regards to delivery time on the day.
He removed my old appliance, installed the new one, removed all the packaging and offered to change the side the door opened out if I wanted.
He explained the delivery docket and let me know who to contact if I had any queries.
Overall a very friendly professional service.

For everyone looking to purchase miele online from Miele Ireland , don't. It's worth the nerves , the time and the money. No existing customer service, if you catch someone , you will be told that is not for them, they cannot help you and will inform you that you will be transferred, just to find out that you are on hold. Repeatedly....

Miele - Immer schlimmer: Service call no show and no satisfactory explanation
My Miele coffee machine malfunctioned so I rang up and booked a service call. The next available appointment was ten days after. I had to pay €339 in advance. I got a text that morning confirming that my technician would arrive between 11am and 1pm. When they didn't arrive by 3pm, I called and was told that they would have to contact the technician and was put on hold and then cut off. I rang back and was told that they couldn't transfer me to the previous call centre agent, so I had to go through the same thing again. Thankfully I wasn't cut off, even though I was on hold for over 10 minutes while they tried to call the technician. I was then told that there wasn't a technician available who was qualified to fix my coffee machine - it involves replacing a part and attaching it with two small screws! I asked why I wasn't contacted to be told that the technician wasn't going to show up and was told that there is "a problem with the system". I was told I should expect a call back with an alternative appointment, which never happened.
Update 14/01/2024
Following my review above, I received an email from Miele saying that my technician was on the way to me. It was 4.30pm on a Friday so I was surprised. I rang their call centre again which is based in Greece to verify and I was told that the technician would be there in 30 to 45 minutes. Great! Well, not great because it was another no-show. I rang again the following day and was told that they would have to reschedule my appointment for 10 days time, three weeks after my initial call. So I was sent to the back of the queue again because they didn't show up. Please note I paid in advance! They said that they would let me know if there was a cancellation - yeah right! They also told me that because of where I live that they don't have nearby technicians. I live in Dublin! What has happened to Miele?

Miele: Good appliances, but...!
I have bought Miele appliances for the past 30 years. I have been very satisfied, so far, with their build quality and reliability.
I had an issue with the purchase of a dishwasher in 2017. The store took payment for a model but contacted me later to say that that model was no longer available. I accepted a different model with a small price adjustment. There should have been a cashback promotion with this purchase. It is now January 2024 and I have still not received the cashback. I have had a written assurance from Miele Ireland that the payment would be made. It hasn't been paid. I wrote to Miele Ireland and Miele HQ in Germany who referred the query back to Miele Ireland. I then had a phone call from a Miele Ireland manager assuring me that the cashback would be paid. It still hasn't been paid. This leads me to question the integrity of the Miele company.
I bought a Miele freezer and a Miele fridge two years ago. The fridge is noisier than it should be. Called the service agent who said that the fan in the fridge was causing the vibration and buzzing noise, suggesting that this was normal. When the product is listed as having a noise level in the low 30 db's but actually produces 50+ db's there has to be something amiss. i spoke to the dealer who sold me the fridge. He said, "Sure Miele don't make them anyway. They're made by Liebherr!"
A premium manufacturer selling a premium product should provide a premium backup service and they should act with integrity.
After all this time, I am looking at alternatives to Miele when I have to replace one of my appliances. I thought I could rely on Miele. Maybe they should change their motto to , "Immer kinda OK"

I have sent several emails to Miele…
I have sent several emails to Miele regarding my Hover. I sent one on the 8th November and it took a MONTH for a response. I was then given option on how to solve this problem. I immediately responded to this and AGAIN I still have heard nothing since ! I used the correct email address. And still no response and no working hover over the entire Christmas. Dreadful customer care. I have ALWAYS used Miele!!!?
