We booked ticket for my dad's travel from Bangalore to London Heathrow. Though we gave the name correctly, it did not reflect correctly on the airline booking. We contacted the customer service and they took the details and finally sent a mail to pay an additional payment of £35 for name correction for no fault of ours. They had already charged £7 extra for meal which actually comes with the ticket. They never gave us an option to cancel the booking and do the refund but had to pay extras for no fault of ours.

Stuck Between MyTrip and Icelandair – Zero Help, Just Excuses
MyTrip.com has been a nightmare to deal with. Just a few hours after booking my Icelandair flight, I asked for a simple update or a full refund. By law, I should be entitled to a full refund within 24 hours—but MyTrip refused.
I contacted Icelandair directly, and they clearly told me that MyTrip must handle the change or refund without charging any fee. But MyTrip keeps saying they “can’t help” and that I should contact the airline. I’m stuck between both sides, and nothing is being resolved.
I called MyTrip 4 times, spent over an hour on calls, and every agent said the same thing: “We will escalate your case.” But the moment I hang up, they close the case automatically and reply that they cannot help. No support, no responsibility, no honesty.
This company gives false information, refuses to follow the 24-hour refund rules, and leaves customers trapped with no solution. Avoid MyTrip.com at all costs.

The service is terrible
The service is terrible. I cancelled a flight, and have not received a refund for over a month. Kept contacting customer service over and over again, at first I received an email saying that I would receive a refund in a few working days. Later, they just asked me to wait, without providing any solution.

Regarding the reply from MyTrip, the outbound ticket was refunded, but the inbound ticket is still pending, for over a month.

All good but constant screen after screen and question after question to add more items. As expected but as per all these booking sites just feel pressurised to add more and more.
I’m extremely disappointed and…
I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated. I booked my flights five months ago, and less than a month before departure I was informed the airline had changed my itinerary. Yet the same or similar flights were still available on the airline’s website and on platforms like Skyscanner—I pointed this out multiple times, to no avail.
The replacement itinerary includes a 15-hour layover, which also forces me to buy a visa because the country requires one for layovers over 12 hours.
I’ve repeatedly contacted both MyTrip and Saudia Airlines. The airline says they cannot change my booking because it was made through MyTrip and that the agency should rebook me on a better flight. MyTrip refuses and blames the airline. Meanwhile, I’m left stuck between them. They offered a refund, but the same flight now costs three times more. If I wanted to pay that much, I wouldn’t have booked five months in advance. This is unacceptable from both MyTrip and Saudia Airlines.
I’ve used agencies like MyTrip for years and have never experienced anything this disappointing. After wasting weeks going back and forth, I cancelled my booking with them and rebooked elsewhere.

Easy to book, straight forward, a lot of options to choose from, affordable prices, and just by adding extra, they will always keep you updated about your flight details and all.

For God sake, please don't reserve your ticket from mytrip. Since last one and half years (1.5 years), I have been waiting for the refund. The name of Passenger is Saba Kousar and her flight was cancelled on August 28, 2024.

AIRLINE AUTHORIZED REFUND, MYTRIP REFUSED
I am writing this review because Mytrip is illegally withholding my money.
I have a flight with Transavia. The airline explicitly authorized a FULL REFUND as a goodwill gesture via direct message. They told me to inform Mytrip to process the payment.
I sent the screenshots and proof of this authorization to Mytrip support. However, Mytrip rejected my refund request claiming "Airline General Policy," completely ignoring the special authorization and the proof I provided!
It is clear that your support team is not checking the documents and sending automated rejection emails. The airline says YES, but you say NO. This is theft.
I have already contacted my bank for a CHARGEBACK procedure against Mytrip. I demand my refund to be processed immediately based on the airline's approval. Check my case and the screenshots attached!
