I bought a Bosch Condenser Tumble Dryer to replace my previous Bosch one that finally expired after many years of excellent performance. The new machine is hugely disappointing as it lacks any programme or ability to give a HOT DRY within any reasonable time, unlike it's predecessor. It needs literally hours of drying time to achieve a decent result. I guess it's some eco rubbish at work but I would never have bought it if I had known how useless it is.

We disconnected our old washer and got everything ready for delivery. When Bosch delivered they said they could not fit the washer. Which was annoying but fine. But they then charged for an installation fee and refuse to refund me after they just left it in the middle of the kitchen. I think this is miselling have reported it to trading standards. Buy from a reputable brand instead!

The Repair service is abysmal. Just avoid this brand and Neff and Siemens as they are all the same company.
It's easy enough to book a repair but each time the engineer will turn up and whinge about the installation. They have never fixed anything on the first visit. They will come out umpteen times and make excuses. Meanwhile you still don't have a working appliance. Customer Services people will never give you a straight answer to any query. In fact they confuse things even more as the people manning the call centre aren't technically savvy.
Best advice: just don't go there.
If you have the misfortune to own one of their appliances and it goes wrong, use your friendly local appliance fixer or ask a local plumber or electrician. Just don't use Bosch/Neff/Siemens Repair people.

Customer service!!! What a joke!!! Disgusting service; the other comments below reflect exactly the type of individuals you are dealing with!! They are simply too large to care!

Promised £50 cashback after purchase, They weaseled out by claiming I was trade (it was delivered to a housing estate!). I AM NOT TRADE. I'm just a regular (angry) person at having to do hours of work to get what is rightfully mine, and having to jump through obviously designed hoops to get it.
"We have reviewed your claim but it has been rejected as purchases made on a trade or contract basis (i.e. non consumer purchases) are excluded from the Promotion"
Disgusting. NEVER buying a bosch again and curry's were no help either. They're up next....

UPDATE 13/10/25: They are now withholding my money for no good reason. It's only because I called found and out their is a block on refund???
Wow.. Are all these negative reviews about Bosch? You know, the brand which is supposed to stand for quality in product and service?
I'm also a victim of their poor product and service.
Really bad product, nearly burnt house down, I've contacted them for return and refund - with no response?
What's going on?

My washing machine has been leaving oily stains on my clothes for over 4 months now.
I did everything that Bosch told me to do, so did a deep clean, used their cleaner, run my washing machine on 90 every other day, changed to laundry sheets as they said it was laundry build up. It doenst happen every wash but it has ruined so many clothes and the time I've been without a machine has cost me alot in laundrette bills. The machine is under warranty yet I'm told there is nothing more they can do, it's just build up - which can't be true as I'm not even using liquid anymore and I've cleabed it over and over again yet it' just ruined my sons new football kit!
I'm appalled at such a big company leaving me without a washing machine and basically telling me to deal with it.
I've got all the clothes to prove it and the engineer they sent was also highly rude! Disgusting company with faulty products
Sorry I'm not sure how to send my email via reviewer- not that you will be any help

I recently bought a Bosch Tassimo coffee machine.
When l went online to register the purchase I entered the serial number and ot says that the number has already been registered. I tried to contact customer service but it just sends you around in circles and basically tells you to register it o line.

I bought a small integrated Bosch dishwasher in 2022. This replaced my previous one which had functioned perfectly for at least 20 Years (why did I replace it I ask myself??). With the old one I could cook up a roast dinner and fill up the machine and everything came out sparkling and DRY. As soon as I saw the new model I realised I made a big mistake. For a start the internal space has been significantly reduced. There walls seem thicker, and the trays are much smaller, and harder to stack. The 'eco' cycle takes 3 hours which seems a lot, so I find I'm using the 'express' - probably both in the end use a lot of energy. But neither work well. Things aren't cleaned properly and also they are NOT dry, the whole thing is dripping. AND, everything has a strong chemical smell, which is one thing I cannot stand, so I find myself constantly rinsing and drying by hand. I wonder if this is to do with your energy and water conservation - which I support, but if it doesn;t actually work why would I pay for it? I note that the 'Finish' sachets now smell very different (more like washin powder), and that soapy smell clings to the dishes, so I've stopped using that, but cleaning/detergent smells cling to plates, glasses etc, whatever product I use. At this rate its honestly easier to do the washing up by hand. I am not sure the draining is working properly and this could be part of the problem. However I know that it costs a fortune to call a Bosch engineer, so am hesitating. All in all this has been so disappointing. And put me right off Bosch which I used to think was a good company.

I have ordered a dishwasher from BOSCH and paid for the installation service. On the day of delivery the employee refused to connect the dishwasher as he said he would have to drill into our under-sink cupboard and that was against the company policy.
We were surprised to hear that because we previously had a dishwasher at the very same spot and no drilling was required. Anyway, the employee apologised, said that we would be refunded for the service and left. We then connected the dishwasher straight away without any difficulty (or drilling) ourselves and logically asked for the installation refund. However, BOSCH refused to refund us the 12.5£ as it claims it's our fault.
Regardless of whether it is or not, the customer service level is astonishing. Keeping petty amount of money for work you have not done (especially when it was perfectly possible) left very poor impression of the company and I won't be purchasing any BOSCH appliance ever again.

"They're lying.
They're not keeping their warranty promises.
They're also acting as if they're mocking human reason.
We bought a Bosch refrigerator. It broke down after a year. We called the service center, and the refrigerator is very important to us and we asked them to find a solution as soon as possible. They gave us an appointment for 3-4 days later.
An engineer came and inspected the refrigerator. After the inspection, he stated that the refrigerator needed to be replaced and that he would email it.
Ten days have passed, and we've been calling Bosch service, and they're making excuses every time. Finally, they started saying they're waiting for the manager's approval.
And finally, they called us and said they'd send a senior engineer to inspect the refrigerator again.
How can such stupidity, such a consumer foolishness, be possible? They've been torturing us, our family, for two weeks. We shamelessly send another engineer, and they tell us to take a look. What do we care whether your engineers are good or bad? Perhaps after the senior engineer, they'll say, "Let the factory take a look."
Boch is a regret.
A brand like Bosch is finished for us.
It will remain in our memory as a disgraceful company."
I CONTACTED BOCH. THE SENIOR ENGINEER INFORMED ME THAT HE COULD NOT KEEP TO THE APPOINTMENT THEY PROVIDED FOR IN THE MORNING. HE SAID TO CALL THE COMPANY AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AGAIN.
THIS IS A DISGRACE. WHEN I SPOKE TO BOCH, THEY SAID WE COULD SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR OCTOBER. THEY WERE BUSY.
IT IS A TRUE DISGRACE. THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO PROVIDE A SOLUTION FOR A FAMILY'S NEED FOR MORE THAN A MONTH. THEY ARE A TERRIBLE COMPANY. WHEN I TOLD THEM I WOULD SUE THEM, THE SELLER SAID IT WAS THE COMPANY'S PROBLEM UNDER THE WARRANTY. SUCH SHAME IS UNBELIEVABLE.

We bought approximately £1,500 of Bosch products via Wren. Wren asked us to contact Bosch directly about a design fault on our kitchen oven which we did.
We only discovered the fault after the oven was shipped and installed in our kitchen in Ghana. For two years we have been trying to get Bosch to repair it. Bosch UK say that the local agents in Ghana need to repair the oven. The local agents te in Ghana want us to remove the oven, take it to them and then pay them fir the . Which we cannot do because we have been unable to use it since we bought it.
We would welcome a reply and positive action from Bosch to resolve this issue and not just a standard response of - we are sorry about your experience and can we have your contact details so that we can investigate this matter.
Purchased top of range microwave in 2020 , failed within the year , has since failed another 4 times with the last one I had to pay £190 , complained to AO saying it’s never been rite since day 1 , they asked me to get a engineers report and they would look at doing a partial refund, took to a local white goods company who found the problem , they had been fitting the wrong magnatron , BOSCH had been fitting the wrong Magnetron for 5 years and maybe it was never built correctly in the first place , got in touch with BOSCH and they said they would get back to me within 48hrs , they didn’t so phoned them and got a arsy women on the end of the phone ,,, terrible service on all fronts and now considering putting a claim into small claims court

When I came onto this page to review, I couldn't believe how may negative reviews there were of a well known business. Worst I've ever seen. Speaks volumes of the management that they are failing to remedy this. Well, here's another one about their dreadful customer service they likely won't care about.
Spoke to them in August regarding a failed light transformer unit (failed within 6 months). Asked what warranty I had regarding replacement for early failure. Was told that no warranty as I hadn't paid (£100+) at outset for one of their fitters to put it in (completely unnecessary as simple wiring from old unit to new). This statement was both misleading and untrue. It contravenes the Consumer Rights Act 2015 rights I had for the early product failure. I asked whether the same would be true if I now bought a replacement (which I had to do) and was told it would be. They might give me a couple of days, she said, but then same lack of warranty would apply if I didn't use their engineer to fit.
After some debate about whether the overall position she had described could in any reasonable way be seen to be correct, the person spoke with their manager, who confirmed it was correct in all respects. This statement was also untrue - it was not correct.
I intend to report this company to Trading Standards. They are acting against the law in denying the consumer their proper rights for free repair or replacement under the CRA 2015 in my circumstances, and seemingly deliberately misrepresenting the consumer's rights in doing so. They didn't mention the rights given under the CRA at all. A company cannot override them, as they are seeking to do, to avoid their obligations to the customer.
As an additional item of appalling service, when I ordered the replacement part on the website, it said 'low stock', but not out of stock. Delivery was shown as 2-3 days. Once ordered, I received confirmation of order being processed. After 3 days I called to ask where it was, to be told that they had to order it from Germany, which takes 10 days. No mention of this on website or in follow up confirmation. I pointed out this poor customer service/communication to be told that 'low stock' apparently means that it has to be obtained from Germany, although nobody but them knows that it means this. You really couldn't make this nonsense up.
And finally. I received two emails after delivery of the product asking for my feedback on their service. Really?! Ok, then...!
I told them the above sorry saga and in the box asking if they could call me regarding my feedback I ticked 'yes'. That was several weeks ago. Like to guess what concerned response I then had back from Bosch wanting to put matters right? Yes, you guessed it, none whatsoever.
From start to finish, and in all respects, truly appalling customer service from a company that appears not to care less. It won't happen again...
Terrible customer service. I called because the spare part I had ordered broke when going into the appliance. I could not say if the part was faulty on arrival, so the rep. told me tot take a photo of the fault. I explained I did not have a camera or a mobile, but she insisted that I had to send a photo to prove I was telling the truth. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told s/he would say the same thing.
Her manner was offhand and rude and when I said that I would not be buying another Bosch appliance, her rely was "No worries".
In the end she put the phone down on me when I asked how to return spare part.
The customer service agent to whom I spoke needs training in how to speak to people and to treat them with respect.

Never buy direct from Bosch - terrible customer service - I had to return a fridge that didn’t fit and am still waiting for a refund from August 2025 - they don’t respond to calls and just apologise and yet do nothing - now have to take them to court to get my refund

I have a Bosch hob, oven, fridge freezer and more recently a finesse friendly coffee machine. The only reason I don’t have Bosch washer and dishwasher is because I wanted black appliances 😁
I haven’t had a problem with any of them and would confidently recommend Bosch appliances.
The coffee machine (recent purchase) was on an incredible offer directly from Bosch - £49.99 for the machine, 56 pods and a £20 money off for next order of pods. The machine alone is £110 in Argos.

Bosch oven not starting. Long wait for customer service who offered no assistance other than a highly priced engineer visit with no guarantee that would resolve the issue. Never buy a Bosch again

Bought a £579 dishwasher from Bosch in 2022 (Bosch Serie 4 SGV4HAX40G Fully
Integrated Dishwasher) , with the expectation that it would be a durable, high quality machine. This month however one morning it was completely dead - it would not switch on at all. To get a Bosch service engineer to repair it would have cost £115 + parts. I diagnosed the fault myself and it needed a new control panel in the door - which cost £107, so had I used Bosch it would have cost over £200 to repair a 3.5 year old dishwasher, which doesn't make economic sense given the cost of a new dishwasher. The cost of replacement parts is ludicrous and indicates little regard from the company for sustainability, as the pricing drives you towards throwing away an otherwise perfectly good dishwasher due to one failed electronic component, which is unlikely to have cost more than £10 to manufacture. Ironically the same dishwasher now comes with a 5 year warranty, but based on this experience when my current dishwasher is beyond economic repair I certainly won't be buying another Bosch model. Disappointing to say the least.
Bought a new Bosch Rotak lawnmower to replace my previous Rotak. That did 13 years of hard service and was brilliant.
I bought it because my Dad had an early version. That still works and does a great cut.
My new one is dreadful. Very flimsy and the grass box, now in two parts, falls to pieces all the time.
This experience has stopped me buying new Bosch products.
In fact my new Miele washing machine is does a much better job of cleaning and drying clothes than the old Bosch it replaced.
Perhaps wasting £95 on the lawnmower was worth it to remove my blinkers.
