I just had to let Bosch know how very disappointed with the Bosch vacuum cleaner Series 6 ProAnimal I purchased from Combens based on Portland in Dorset. The machines performance as suction is good for picking up animal hair and fur but it is definitely not 'woman' friendly unless you have muscles like a weightlifter, fittings to adjust the wand is very, very tight and to get the head off is a struggle every time. I think Bosch need to look into their design of these Proanimal Series 6 vacuum cleaners if I had known how difficult and stiff the fittings of these cleaners were to use I would never ever have purchased it. I have used vacuums all my life and never ever experienced one like this.
There is a reason why this company score so badly on trustpilot. 83% 1 star reviews tells you everything you need to know.
I had a faulty fridge freezer that was replaced just inside its warranty period.
All good you would think, until the 2nd appliance went wrong just outside the warranty period of the original purchase. Yes an appliance less than two months old couldnt regulate the temperature amd fluctuated wildly.
Bosch immediately said as it was just outside the original warranty and they would charge me for a visit although they would cover any parts costs. Absolutely not good enough when the appliance was only 2 months old. Extremely unhappy.
Bosch: as a supposed premium brand, sort your customer service out.

Cash back……what a joke! Submitted ‘Claim Online’ form on BOSCH website, heard nothing. Submitted again…..nothing. Phoned today and due to claim being out of time they won’t pay. It’s only £50 but it’s what they promised to pay as a ‘cash back’. What a scam to get people to buy their stuff!

Having bought a Bosch oven, the John Lewis delivery/installation team were unable to install owing to an existing, obstructive gas pipe feeding the hob. Essentially, what they called the "cut-out" at the back of the top of the oven was too small to allow the gas pipe to fit. Sadly, they were obliged to take it back and give a refund.
My problem is with the Bosch customer service agent who did not seem to understand the term "cut-out" even though it seemed to be a technical term used by the installation team. She seemed to think it meant the dimensions of the full installation space, despite my repeated attempts to describe what it was.
I had previously found a diagram in the online instruction manual for the oven model in question, but I did not see that this offered the dimensions I needed to know in order to advise my own gas plumber for him to alter the angles/position of the gas pipe.
The agent did send me the very same diagram by email after the call, and the usual follow-up email wanting feedback from me was not forthcoming as I guess she knew she had not really been able to help.

I have a Bosch dishwasher which is supposed to connect to the internet, which did at first, but after an update, stopped working. I can longer use my phone to operate it, which is one of the reasons why I bought this model. I have tried all the suggestions on the website but nothing works.
I did contact Home Connect themselves about my problem, but they did not bother replying.
Also, there are horrible rust type marks at the bottom of the door, which I have been told are from cleaning and is my fault! Customer Service sent me some clothes to rub it off vigorously.
No matter how hard I try the marks do not come off and my has door looks a mess.
The dishwasher cleans well, but I would never buy another Bosch product because of the poor customer service and terrible extras.

Absolutely the worse customer service I ever encountered in my entire life!
I have an extended 10 year warranty on my boiler -paid extra for that- which have been fitted on 2020
Boiler have stopped working and all what Bosch is doing is trying to find a way out of the repairs by inventing non- existing issues
They are saying something about not being access to the boiler, so how then the boiler could be fitted and serviced all this years if there is not access?? Literally their man was there for 5 minutes, inspected boiler visually and left! Then they marked appointment as completed without any follow up
Only when I contacted again they were coming up with the story of not being access which is an absolutely an invented issue
I am going to complain to all relevant bodies and will contact a lawyer to take them to court as this is really disgusting how they just take the money but not the responsibility which is absolutely unacceptable
I want to give 0 star but that option is not available
Just seen the 1 star reviews are 83% so you have the average of their customers care, STAY AWAY FROM this company for your own good
Extremely disappointed with Bosch customer service.
I bought a Bosch cook range and within one week the burner stopped working. It has now been 4 months, countless emails, and zero resolution. The issue is still not fixed.
I have never experienced such poor service in Canada. The responsiveness, accountability, and support from Bosch have been pathetic. This situation has caused so much inconvenience at home.
I will never buy any Bosch product again and I strongly do not recommend Bosch to anyone. Customers deserve better
Hi just a message to Clare about my recent review and you asking for my contact details. You stated to use the request information tab with my details. How, I can’t find a reply tab to do that. Thanks. Steve

I am utterly disappointed with both the Bosch and London Appliances. After spending over £700 on what I thought would be a reliable appliance, it failed just two weeks after delivery. The fridge is buzzing, but it doesn’t cool at all, leaving us without fresh food, which is especially challenging with a 2 years child at home.
I’ve reached out to Bosch, and they informed me that it could take about two weeks to send an engineer, which is completely unacceptable for such a vital appliance. Meanwhile, London Appliances has been of no help, passing me back and forth between them and the manufacturer. It’s been a week now, and we’re still waiting for a resolution.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I initially wanted just a repair, but now I’m demanding a full refund. I cannot recommend Bosch or this retailer to anyone.

Still no response from Bosch I have contacted Citizens Advice regarding their very poor after sales service and support. They are contacting Trading Standards on my behalf and have advised me further regarding compensation for my expenses and losses for not having the use of their product and having to spend time, money , fuel to get my laundry washed elsewhere for 3 weeks.
I urge you all with a complaint to do the same.
Purchased online a Bosch fridge freezer model Bosch Series 2 KGN27NBEAG - smaller
Than the normal fridge freezer (which is hard to gauge online) however as it is smaller they should do all shelves not one shelf as a bottle rack. Also fridge light is dim spoke to their customer service and you cannot purchase a brighter bulb
Extremely weak infrastructure, absolutely appalling products, just a brand name hype. Have had experience with many of their products, especially their failing as brand new car batteries. Very overpriced for the zero quality control. Would keep away from their products or you will be disappointed.
Engineer cancelled my washing machine appointment due to there being a police roadblock in the surrounding area of our property. Speaking to Calum at BSH customer service I was told the earliest appointment is a week later! Having waited 2 days already for the appointment I was told it had to be rebooked. In the meantime I've been advised to take my washing to a Laundromat and they 'may or may not' reimburse me for the expense! Appalling customer service - no wonder Bosch is rated 1.5 stars on here

I bought Bosch washing machine (Series 6) 2.5years ago, cost me £749 from Currys. Out of nowhere after the guarantee period is finished, I’ve got a hole in the drum, never touched it, never moved it. What’s the point of spending such a ridiculous amount of money on the item if it doesn’t last! At least drop your prices down, as the prices you are placing out there are very wrong from what you sell! Not buying Bosch item ever again!

matter of two bosch led torches remedy simple, however, bosch advised out of stock on discontinued torches - and no parts to be had. so go away. they had me send photographs by way of a hurdle, which i did. despite a lifetime of bosch loyalty on many items, that loyalty is concluded- i thought customer service a shameful disgrace. contacted ceo of bosch who passed me to this bunch. have complained to ceo in germany and not even an acknowledgement. - moral her here seems to be - pay your money and dont bother us
This Bosch website is a disaster being distinctly user-unfriendly and sending one around in loops. Despite an apparently successful registration of a new washer-dryer several months ago, I now see no trace of it today when I registered a new kettle.
An absolute disgrace of a customer website for a German company.
Thank heavens the products are good in my experience - just hope I never have a warranty claim!🥲

I bought a spare Bosch battery for my Bosch hedge trimmer (which is great btw). I didn't use it immediately, but 6 months later when I did need to use it, it wouldn't charge. I contacted Bosch Service Centre and they were fantastic, they couriered it back and sent me a new one. They kept me up to date with the whole process. I can't fault the experience I had here in the UK.
My 89 year old mother had same integrated fridge over 25 years. It finally stopped working in the summer, and she had a new Bosch fridge installed. From day 1 it was making a terrible noise. Over the following couple of weeks it got worse. Bosch refusing to change it because of inadequate ventilation. (was perfect adequate for old fridge!). anyway, she had a bigger grill installed. still not good enough for Bosch, and now they want her to change the whole enclosure - IE rebuild that part of kitchen. It's ridiculous, there is a LOT of ventilation - and it is clear a way to avoid them having to replace it, as they are now saying it's my mothers fault the fridge doesn't work. Utterly outrageous, and i'm filing a claim at small claims court.
I phone up about a fault, then without my consent they text me to say they'd booked for a repair and were sending someone round to my house. Criminal. I had to waste 30 minutes phoning up.

Don't buy Bosch 7000i 9kw heat pump – dreadful quality
A Bosch 7000i 9kw was installed in my Danish summer house in 2019. Product and installation cost around DKK 100,000 and you get a 2-year warranty. I have complied with all annual service inspections, which cost DKK 3,000 each.
There were problems from the start. It started with a poor app, which has now improved to a satisfactory level after 6 years. However, the app still cannot show individual room temperature or water loss in the water heater tank.
After about 2.5 years, the water tank in the water heater leaked. Bosch thought it was due to poor welding or steel and the water tank needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, the water heater has no alarm for water loss and since the house is not permanently inhabited, it caused quite a bit of damage in the utility room. The total replacement costs for the water tank were around DKK 25,000. Bosch was very kind to cover 80%, but only after I had left a negative review on Trustpilot.
After about 5.5 years the heating element in the water heater stopped working and had to be replaced. Total cost around 9000 DKK.
We have both a Bosch washing machine and dryer and there have never been any problems, which is why I chose the Bosch 7000i 9kw. However, I wish I had never chosen Bosch. It has been a very expensive and disappointing experience.
The plumbing company that sold and installed the Bosch heat pump no longer sells Bosch. Instead they have switched to Vaillant. Perhaps others have had similar negative experiences with Bosch heat pumps.
