Not only was the website easy to use, I started receiving quotes for the transport of our dog across the country immediately! Susan Frisque of Come Bye Transport provided an excellent experience transporting my husky and blue heeler from Wasington state to Oh. She was very organized and knowledgeable. She was also very understanding and accommodating when there was a blip with the drop off time. If you need to transport your pets, rest assured they will be in good hands with Susan.

Review for Patriot Military Moving Company

I recently purchased a Piaggio MP3 three-wheel motor scooter and hired Patriot Military Moving Company to transport it from Rehoboth, MA to Washington State. I chose them because I wanted to support a company run by former service members, expecting integrity, accountability, and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite.

The delivery was more than three weeks late. I live between Vancouver, BC and Bellingham, WA, and I made sure to communicate my availability. Despite that, the representative I dealt with—Jennifer Velazquez—was consistently rude and unprofessional. Every email reply I received was dismissive and vague, and I was never given a firm delivery date. Excuses piled up: at one point they even sent me a photo of a blown trailer tire to explain yet another two-week delay.

When they finally promised a Sunday delivery, I waited all day with no call and no truck. Then it was pushed to Monday, then Tuesday—the busiest day of my work week. Jeanine even admitted they had broken one of my front lights and offered to replace it, but she insisted my scooter already had scratches because it was “10 years old.” That scooter was in mint condition when I bought it. At that point I suspected it had been dropped.

The delivery truck finally arrived Tuesday at 2:15 PM—over two hours later than promised. Under pressure to get back to work, I signed the papers. Only afterward did I discover additional damage: scratches, paint peeling, a broken left deflector, and a broken right mirror bracket—repairs that will cost me around $300.

The seller I purchased the scooter from also confirmed that Patriot Military Moving has a bad reputation and said he plans to report them as well.

In short:

Delivery was 3+ weeks late.

Communication was rude and unprofessional.

The company damaged my vehicle and tried to blame “age and scratches.”

Final delivery was inconvenient, delayed, and careless.

I strongly recommend that you stay away from this company. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had, and I regret entrusting them with my property.

As soon as I signed up with citizenship, I received several offers to transport our puppy from Texas to New Jersey. It was a great experience with lots of options to choose from highly recommend

Be aware! It is extremely important for potential customers who use reviews on this site to make informed decisions to understand that CitizenShipper censors and removes negative reviews (even if they are honest/accurate and adhere to their policies…which they lied about in response to this honest review). Additionally, although they provide background checks, etc. on shippers, they claim not to have any real control over who is on their website. They also claim to not have any responsibility or ability to hold shippers accountable to providing refunds to customers. This means you are at the mercy of the shipper to refund your money, if at all, even if the shipper canceled on you. As you can imagine, this opens a large door for painfully delayed refunds as well as scammers to walk through completely unregulated. They allow shippers who cancel at the last minute and have a history of doing so, to continue operating on the platform regardless of the hardship and fees they create for customers.

I had an issue where I chose a shipper, who at the time had no negative reviews (so I thought), and placed a deposit in advance with them. On the scheduled day of pickup, they claimed to have car issues less than an hour before they were to pick up my animal. Then, they stopped responding to my texts. For nearly a week the shipper proceeded to ignore both my attempts and (supposedly) the attempts of CitizenShipper to obtain a refund for the deposit I placed. Again, CitizenShipper will not refund a driver fee, only the booking fee (which is a site credit). In order to avoid losing additional money, I was forced to book again through the site, while still not having a refund of my deposit. The last minute booking was of course higher for a reputable shipper.

I was told by CitizenShipper they received a few excuses from the shipper as to why my money was not immediately refunded. Then, they too were not able to reach the shipper at all. During this time **I reviewed CitizenShipper’s review policies and wrote a simple yet honest review**, to hopefully help others avoid the same heartache. It stated only the facts: the driver had cancelled last minute, and at that time I did not receive a refund— all true and accurate and in NO way negative or disparaging/ in violation of their policies. I saw other honest/negative reviews on this shipper show up as well at that time.

Once the shipper finally resurfaced nearly a week later, they claimed CitizenShipper lied and knew the entire time as to why I hadn’t received a refund. Thankfully I eventually received my money, but not before incurring additional expenses and hardship due to the last minute cancellation and refusal of immediate refund by the shipper.

Later, Citizenshipper informed me via email that my honest review was being reviewed for removal. I stated I would be willing to update my review with the current information, but that my review was accurate. MY REVIEW COMPLIED WITH THEIR POLICIES. To my surprise, when I logged in to my account, I saw a response from the shipper (who now had over a 26% cancellation rate) to my review which stated CitizenShipper knew all along why I had not received an immediate refund, and that they had attempted multiple times to refund my money with no success. To my knowledge neither of these claims in the shipper’s response were accurate, but somehow allowed to be shown to potential customers. I did not receive any communication from the shipper until they reached out nearly a week later regarding a refund, and again, was told by CitizenShipper that the shipper had stopped communicating.

My review on their website was censored, and from what I can tell has been removed. I see the other negative customer reviews on this shipper’s profile have also since been removed. I will be happy to update this review if any of that changes.

I was notified by CitizenShipper they would not remove this shipper from their platform, so they are likely still out there doing the same to other customers.

Regardless of what CitizenShipper states in response to this review to support their reputation, these are my honest experiences. Everything stated in this review can be supported by emails and text messages, and is in no way exaggerated or meant to be disparaging. I have nothing to gain from a dishonest review, and only wish I had seen honest reviews such as mine prior to using the site. CitizenShipper has a duty to their customers to be transparent. *Censoring reviews does not allow this.* If they aren’t going to be responsible for lost shipper fees, there needs to be more stringent regulation on the shippers who operate on the platform, including penalties for such things as high cancellation rates.

Great experience using this pet shipping company! It was such an easy process and we were so thankful to find a fabulous driver that came recommended through them.

Arrived on time. Kept us updated the entire trip with our pup as happy as could be.

The driver was incredibly caring and friendly. Made sure that my daughter’s cat was comfortable and sent pictures from the road trip. Received plenty of updates and I could tell all the instructions for care were being followed. I lastly received a video of my daughter receiving her cat. That was absolutely beautiful and above and beyond.

I was rea;;y stuck in having help getting my dog from Memphis Tn to Florida and was rather iffy on hiring thru this platform but as with any you have to do you're research on Google, some some good so I researched the drivers and companies and got tons of bids low to too hi but after doing so I found Gage he had great reviews and was very nice and low bid he loves animals and is soo patient my dogs a handful and he didn't complain once :) si I do recommend the platform and Gage if you can find him as for the others I will say there probably be some unsavory people and maybe scams but they should be easily weeded out with just a few mins of your time :) happy trails...

Moved my jittery dachshund Lola from LA to Austin with Citizenshipper and was floored by how gentle the driver, Marco, was—he FaceTimed me at every pit stop like promised. Lola trotted out tail wagging, still wearing the bandana he tucked in her crate. The app tracked everything; the price was honest. Five stars is selling these folks short.
