Royal Mail driver collected my parcel I have him collecting it on cctv then when I tried to track parcel it said parcel was not available to collect. Thief!!! Royal Mail customer service is a joke avoid like the plague
Royal Nightmare
Absolutely shocking behaviour from RM. I’ve waited on mail for a week and still no deliveries. I’ve been told that they hold mail until there is enough for a delivery so now we don’t get post every day. Lucky if it’s once a week. Get the mail delivered 🤬
Dreadful, appalling, hopeless service
Paid for a collection but that never happened so parcel was dropped off at post office. This in July, using their labels, and a tracked service. It has never got any farther - now mid-October. Completely useless claim and complaints system - spent an hour gathering and sending all the details demanded [seemingly designed to deter claims] and received an acknowledgement but nothing since. Second complaint only possible by web form and merely resulted in being given a link to the claim site again.
Terrible service.

Really worth nil stars at best. Waiting for a parcel on 48hour, due to arrive 10th-11th Oct still not delivered as they now deliver on alternate days, 11th is Saturday (their day off) as is tomorrow (Sunday) so I guess their 48 hr deliveries are now 96hr deliveries - and they wonder why they are on the slippery slope.

Disappointed in Royal Mail
Disappointed in Royal Mail. I ordered a product from space n k on the 5th of September, it was supposed to be delivered in wednesday the 8th of September. It’s now Saturday the 11th. When I track the item it says received at the depot and will be delivered today, no attempted deliveries or red slips. It’s just sitting there at the depot and not being delivered. I can’t speak to anyone to ask them why my item is frozen at the depot and why there is no option online or on telephone ( it just continuously rings as we all know ) to get this resolved. Tracking number : XQ106345118GB. It will now be 2 weeks as of Monday that I have been waiting. Terrible organisation, disappointing. Evri is much easier to get answers and always able to track the item and get a resolution to it. Please can Royal Mail sort this out.

I had a number of items now off ebay and I'm paying for a service which at one point in time you would get the item for guaranteed time they state but my parcels are constantly being delayed? I am paying for a service which they are not delivering.
Rubbish
Used to be reliable but now they’re awful.
Paid for them to collect a parcel from my house, they never turned up but said they had so I wasn’t eligible for a refund for the collection.
I paid for the same parcel to be collected again the next day, again nobody’s turned up.
Undelivered after 12 days
I would have gone lower because I returned a package to smart cellular on 29 September still not delivered and showing that it’s at south midlands mall centre undelivered after 12 days looking like someone has helped themselves to a phone at my expense. Plenty of reviews saying the same will be claiming soon
Useless and incompetent
About time this out of date useless company was abolished! Useless delivery service. I now dread if I order something and these idiots are delivering it. Usually gets lost or stock piled. Not the company who I order from it's always royal mail 😡 They can't get any worse! Not a clue why the NHS trusts them as their important letters are delivered 2 weeks late. Disgusting service

This company is the worst delivery company in London. I'M AT HOME. They didn't ring the doorbell, they didn't call my phone, and they just said I didn't receive my order. I'm disappointed with this company. This isn't the first time this has happened.

If I could give no stars I would. Royal Mail are a universal joke. This time they email twice that they tried to deliver something but I they couldn't find me. Althugh I was at home both times. And neither time did they leave an 'absent' note... After endless scrawling I found a phone number, and after endless option selecting to try and speak to someone (rather than be redirected to some useless auto-response) I was told that the waitng time is... 50 minutes! With NO call back option! Either wait an hour or goodbye! I will never buy from shops that send with Royal Mail again. I don't understand why they still exist, to be honest.
Awful performance.
Stuck in all morning. Three hour window for the delivery. Now past hour four. Not the first time this has happened. Awful service. I have no confidence in any estimates given. DPD manage to provide estimates that are often accurate to within minutes of the start of the range given. Royal Mail are broken.
They are either liars or incompetent
I wait for delivery at home all day, following a Royal Mail Parcel Force email announcing delivery on that day. On the day, an email arrives to tell me "I wasn't at home when they attempted a delivery". I was. This was either a lie or they went to the wrong address. I live in an ordinary area, not remote. So I waste 50 minutes on hold on the phone to them trying to stop the whole thing being repeated the next day. The next day - the same story. I wait, an email arrives to tell me I wasn't at home on that day either.
Can’t even get a delivery right
Used a company that uses Royal Mail to deliver. When Royal Mail received the package they estimated delivery and asked if that date was ok. I charged the date and added a neighbour in case I wasn’t in. Received an email confirming. The next day I received another email stating the same as the first. I again changed the date and added a neighbour. Both of which were already in the fields. I again received another email stating email confirmation.
They then attempted delivery on the day I could not make instead of the chosen date. Then had the cheek to tell me I wasn’t in!
This once great organisation has been destroyed by greed and private companies. It cannot even complete a process that other companies do with ease. The whole board and management need to be removed and put back into government hands. Enough of this private travesty.
Set of liars
Royal mail are absolutely useless. They lied and said they tried to deliver my item on Saturday 11th October. I have not moved from my living room since 7am to 10am when the supposedly tried to deliver it.
The useless customer service advisor told me he might have gone to a wrong address. If a royal mail delivery officer cannot count to 6 as it's a one sided street they should not be going their job.
I have CCTV footage too confirm they never tried to deliver it and the useless customer service advisor told us there is nothing they can do as apparently they can't contact the office to reach the delivery drivers which is an absolute lie.

i would not recommend one star at all 24hr tracked parcel, your midlands supper hub sent it to the wrong place again instead of going up to tyneside its gone to preston mc, then to southport do,ive paid for tracked 24hr delivery how much more does your company want to rip me off this is nearly everytime i order from down south, one in five parcels have arrived on time,its time you sorted your depo out instead of ripping people off.they give you less post to do, and you still cant do the job propperly, ive paid for tracked 24hr not 48hr your a rip off company.ive had 10 deliveries since april not come on time all tracked 24hr, not 72hour later or more im disgusted with your company.my parcel is suppossed to be re routed straight away its still states its at southport do ,from seven this morning its now seven at night still there mmmm

Because this is the most outrageous experience I've experienced with royal mail.
I sent out a birthday gift to a friend who lives in the UK (in fact lives in london WITH ME) on the 27th September and payed for its 48 Tracked label to be printed and parcel collected from my house. It was on a saturday so I expect it to have some movement on the following monday or tuesday.
Tell me why for 2 whole weeks straight. It stayed at my local delivery office with no movement, No updates on why its staying there despite the fact I paid for it to be delivered around 2-3 working days. But thats not the worst part. I can understand delays can happen I'm not upset about that.
I'm upset, No I'm PO'd when two weeks passed, the person i sent the parcel to tells me royal mail gave them a "fee to pay" card, saying how "I" failed to pay the full postage for it to be delivered and was expected to pay an extra £3.50 on top of the £2.70 I already paid for. Which makes zero sense because I paid for the label, printed it myself and also paid for collection to my house. Waited two whole weeks for it to be delivered to a UK address which is in the same city only for it to get denyed deliver because it "wasn't fully paid"?
Are you kidding me? I phoned up customer support and was told it was due too two very stupid reasons:
1. The label fell off hense I had to pay for a new label. How is that my problem. If you waited two weeks when at that point its royal mail's problem not mine.
2. According to the operator on the phone, The prices for 48 tracked had increased AFTER I already paid for my label and had it sent out. Hense the increased price on the "fee to pay" card
So to summerize. I have to pay for the same label TWICE for a small parcel to an address WITHIN the UK for a mistake royal mail caused. Not only not taking any responsiblity but failed to communicate with me about the alleged delays within office but also failed to notify nor replace the label I already paid for and pin the costs on me instead of covering the costs themselves nor provid compensation for the inconvience, the hassle, the lack of awareness and also negligence of the parcel's postage nor the contents inside.
This is last time I'm using royal mail to send items. What makes this story even funnier is that I had a single letter. A normal letter sent out to the USA and it got delivered within the span of exactly 7 days. But the parcel I sent out the exact same time took double that and didn't even successfully get delivered to the recipent.

I was literally by my front door when the door bell rang … took a second to answer … only to find that my delivery was being passed to my neighbour who just happened to be on the other side of the fence.
Talk about knock and run, it’s a joke !!!
Lying about delivery attempt
They lie about trying to deliver parcels. No attempted delivery was caught on any of my cameras, or door bell, but according to RM there was no answer. Why not reschedule a delivery rather than lie about it?
