Don't be fooled by the highly misleading Track24 title used by Royal Mail, as in my experience the chances of a next day, or days delivery is minimal. I recently posted a parcel on the 1 October (021... See more

My parcel, posted 24H, has been accidentally sent to Pontefract, then was redirected correctly to Leeds, but then it was sent to Medway (where I posted from) "accidentally", this is 2 weeks after posting.... can you deliver the parcel fml.
ALSO!!! my 48H postage that used to compensate up to £150 has gone from around £5 to THIRTEEN POUNDS!!!!
Royal Mail
Royal Mail. Up the crick. A week matter I chased and conclude they replied with a link. It does not work. Waste of time and effort. Web site sale . But no information on complaint. To busy selling to deal with their incompetence and mistake.
How are they still in business...
How are they still in business? Posties not scanning items prior to delivery properly, the mobile app is barely functional, one day you can login, the next you can't due to an error. When you can login to their app, items are listed not in order of priority. In fact, some that were delivered weeks ago are still prioritised to the top of the list, instead of parcels due to be delivered that day or the next etc. You can submit a review on the PlayStore for Android, but they never reply to any comments.
And if you call their customer phone number UK - 03457740740 - which isn't found easily or at all on their official website (as most businesses do these days, because they don't want you to call them) and I had to Google it, ended up getting this number (03457 950 950), waited for 20 minutes to tell me that this line was for the businesses. To her credit, the lady I spoke with was pleasant and provided with the correct number for customers. Having called it now, it's saying they'll be over a 30 minute wait and no offer of a callback service in place. Just a short chirpy orchestral sample playing on repeat. Honestly, how do these companies stay afloat with their nonexistent customer service?
Every single time royal mail doesnt…
Every single time royal mail doesnt deliver my parcel. I was in when attempted delivery was apparently done, no one came to my door. I need my parcel for a wedding and royal mail need to get it sorted out instead of constantly lying about delievery its all the time its a joke.
A joke of a postage service!
The worst service ever! For a while now ive been noticing Royal Mail always delay parcels or dont send out letters for ages. This time ive got an important parcel that I ordered and should have been here in 2-3 days RM could not apparently scan the label so it was stuck at their mailing centre in Medway and now ive called them to track again (5 days after due) its now apparently all the way in Jubilee MC!! They haven't updated anything on the tracking and the advisors give you mixed reviews! The woman i spoke to yesterday said I should receive it by today at the latest and the man I spoke to today said its at Jubilee MC he cant give me more info and it will arrive at some point but he cant say when. Absolutely disgusting service and RM are a joke!
Terrible Service
Terrible service. I can't understand how and why Royal Mail are still functioning, given their continued overall losses.
I've arranged a re-redirection for one year. There's a tracked 48 hour parcel currently going to my old address, as I hadn't managed to change the address on my ebay account until today.
After reading the endless 'articles' to see if my query as to whether the parcel will be re-directed to my new home, I ended up with a phone number to call; 'at last', I thought.
I ring the number. There's a wait of over an hour to speak with someone. The real kicker - the automated message starts with 'We would like to thank you for showing kindness and consideration to our team as they do their very best to help you.' I'm a patient person by nature but I can really understand why people get completely fed up.
Royal Mail should be providing proper customer services with enough available human beings at the other end. That would be real 'kindness and consideration.'
Useless app
The Royal mail app is shockingly bad , it's never up to date , doesn't actually give any relevant information for the date and time, I've deleted parcels that have been delivered over 12 months ago and they still reappear??? I've done this several times and still they reappear, I deleted the app in the end, completely useless.
Repeated False 'Attempted Delivery'
Repeated False 'Attempted Delivery'
This is not the first time this has happened. Royal Mail and Parcel Force often mark their tracking as “attempted delivery” when in reality, no delivery attempt has been made. Sometimes they even claim the address is “inaccessible” when there are absolutely no access issues.
They also no longer leave missed delivery cards — likely because they never actually came to the door in the first place.
Most recently, the parcel I ordered was sent via the Express 24 service. I was given a specific delivery timeframe, but before that timeframe even began, the tracking showed “attempted delivery” — yet nobody came. I arranged a redelivery for the following day and received email confirmation, but again, there was no delivery and no update on the tracking.
Completely deceitful and inefficient service. It’s incredibly frustrating when parcels sent through a premium service are handled so poorly.
Terrible call center wait times and website navigation system
They direct you to their website or app to change the date of delivery, or to call.
I went to the website, however it tries to force you to download the app. So I called them as im not going to download an app for a single parcel instance.
I stay on the phone for 53 minutes waiting to speak to someone, before the line automatically drops the call as the call center closes at 18.30.
Abysmal service quality to prioritise going home over their customers already waiting to speak to someone over a simple request
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible, waited for our parcels all day, Thursday 9th October. At 4.41 received a message saying they had tried to deliver. No way, why do they tell Lies, be honest and just say you can't be bothered.will see what happens tomorrow. We have cameras and no one has been on site at all.
Royal Mail redirect - useless
Royal Mail redirect asked me to telephone - 59 minutes of inane music later, I was forced to hang up! Useless
lying about deliveries, I was in all day shocking service
We tried to deliver your parcel from Autosave Components today, Thursday, 9 October 2025.
Sorry, there didn’t seem to be anyone in.
lying about deliveries, I was in all day shocking service
Worst courier in the entire country
Courier companies give tracking details that allow you to check on it's progress. As does Royal Mail. But only after they've already tried to deliver it once. What's the bleeding point in that? You will only release tracking info after a failed delivery. You've got everything arse about tit. No wonder people dread having to have things delivered by them. Evri is better. A carrier pigeon has more tech. This is why I've always called them Parcel Farce.
What kind of crap company still works with 20th century tech. Probably the same company that tried to send half of it's workforce to prison rather than admit their fault. Renationalise, and stop these money grabbing wankers from ripping us off further. Living proof that Thatcher was an idiot in the first place, but the fault lies with Parcel Farce. A truly dreadful company
I POSTED A VALUABLE ITEM VIA 48HR…
I POSTED A VALUABLE ITEM VIA 48HR TRACKED AS i THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE MORE SECURE - WRONG i SHOULD HAVE JUST SENT IT 1ST CLASS AND AT LEAST IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE LIKELY TO HAVE ARRIVED.
A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER I WENT TO TRACK THE ITEM TO SEE IF IT HAD ARRIVED AND WAS ALARMED TO SEE IT WAS IN SOUTHAMPTON, WHEN THE DESTINATION WAS WELSHPOOL VIA SHREWSBURY. WHEN I LOOKED CLOSER AT THE RECEIPT I SEE THAT THE CLERK HAD TYPED IN SO21 INSTEAD OF SY21, i THOUGHT AS THE ITEM HAD A TRACKING NUMBER THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN EASY TO RECTIFY - WRONG AGAIN, I PHONED, EMAILED AND HAVE NOW WRITTEN A LETTER TO EXPLAIN BUT WHEN I CHECK TRACKING IT IS JUST GOING FROM SOUTHAMPTON TO WINCHESTER TO SOUTHAMPTON TO WINCHESTER EVEN THOUGH THE CORRECT ADDRESS WAS ON THE PARCEL, UNLESS THEY STUCK THE LABEL OVER THAT.

Royal mail Christmas staff leave parcels on doorstep not knocking then another in middle of the communal area next time I be waiting
Unbelievably bad
In early summer I paid for a package to be collected from the house for return to a supplier. On the day of collection I received an email from so called Royal Mail to say that the package had not been put out for collection, we have security camera footage showing the post man picking it up.
I then instigated their tracking system and after a long delay received a message to say that I should consider the package lost and make a claim - this I did. I received an automated response saying that I should allow 30 days for them to respond. As the claim was made in mid August I tried several times to find information via their website. Today I have sent two messages to customer service and received two automated replies from a do not reply address to say that the claim has been resolved.

Do not trust Royal Mail
Should have had a parcel delivered from Amazon who for some reason used Royal Mail. HAving waited in all morning The tracking showed I had refused delivery! This within 2 weeks of pretending to deliver one and they hadn't. Also within the same period delivered a package and aletter with legal documents to the wrong address. Royal Mail used to stand for something , now you probably wouldn't publish what I think it stands for. Some delivery person must be running a nice sideline in stolen parcels. Amazon has complained to them, and I have complained now 4 times in a month, including two complaints to the CEO which have all been ignored.
Absolutely rubbish
Royal Mail is no longer delivering letters to the street where I live. We have to go to the sorting office to collect them. They still manage to deliver parcels but not letters? There are housebound people where I live who cannot get to the sorting office. I've made a complaint only to be robbed off with the usual reply about staff shortages. It's been like this for months and elderly people (without internet access) are missing hospital appointments and bills etc. Surely Royal Mail has a legal obligation to deliver letters?
They lost my parcel 2 times
They lost my parcel 2 times. Even their employees are trained to scam people. Driver updated and signed on his own that he delivered my parcel which wasn’t delivered and when I called them they gave me reply that we will look into this. Within a month I lost £700. Worst service in the UK. Scammers
