Great company to liase with and very secure communications. The only thing that let us down was the trader that came to collect our car. He tried to haggle us down by £2000 from the agreed price. When we then refused the sale, they then agreed to pay the sale price as they would be blacklisted if they didnt accept the sale(minus the flight tickets and taxi fare that it cost to come and collect the car as they had no idea that our car was at the other end of the country). Not the fault of Motorway, but maybe food for thought.

The dealer who placed the highest offer tried to reduce his offer by £750 as he thought that was a more appropriate price.

The communications were frequent and helpful. My only criticisms were that there was too much duplication and the updates didn't catch up.

Having researched the various selling sites we chose Motorway from the various independent reviews. The process was fairly simple and we ended up with considerably more than the part exchange price offered by the suppling dealer for our new car. Just remember be as accurate and detailed with the description and photos to save disappointment on the day of collection.

Never used Motorway before but would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I was anxious about selling my car through Motorway but they were brilliant, informing me exactly about what was going to happen and their follow-up checks to see that everything had gone smoothly with the winning dealer were especially impressive. I will be recommending friends and family to the service.

Overall a good experience

Getting an offer is very easy and slick, the app works well, and they company is helpful. Once you have an offer its much less slick booking with their logistics provider to come pick up the car - mine cancelled twice and it took a couple of weeks to get sorted. Pick up was good in the end and was paid once inspection was complete. I would use it again but they need to improve their pickup process significantly.

Awful Company. Give you a valuation, ask what you’ll accept then send you an “offer” 29% lower. We buy any car are better (and they are appalling). Avoid avoid avoid!!

Easiest way I’ve ever sold a car. Took some photos added some details and spoke to a rep to confirm everything. 24 hours later my car had sold and lived up two days later. It’s as easy as you make it, be honest and add as much details as possible and you can’t go wrong. Money was in my account before the car left the drive.

The only reason for 3 stars is the reserved price is very different to final offer but I guess if you don’t have time to sell privately
