fantastic customer service
I had a problem with my debit card, it stopped working from one to annother. When I brought it to attention, the customer service team, specifically Michael, contacted me immediatly and kept in touch while informing me about every step of action.

stressful time
Basically all service is good, app and website and easy to use, but when it comes to critical thing, sometimes it was difficult to reach to the customer service. When I couldn't receive the fund transaction for 3months, I was very stressed but the bank didn't reply me time to time. Normally I receive the fund within a week after sending. It's ok for the delay, but I would have felt safer if I hadn't been ignored sometimes.

my account was closed and they refuse to give me my remaining funds
my account was closed without notification whatsoever, i contacted them through emails, whatsapp texts.. but no reply. After few weekly they replied that my account is closed without clarifying nothing about my remaining balance, when i asked them they simply said they will refund all 4/5 months transfers i had in my account to the source, which is insane because all the transfers were completed and i have already provided documents ( previous months when they asked me to do so), this is going to ruin my transfers with my clients i have tens of transfers that they planning to just refund. I WILL SUE THEN I ALREADY TALKED TO MY LAWYER

Unreliable and questionable
Right, I’m a new customer with Ampere, initially the registration was quite a task with continuous uploads of proof of address not being accepted to finally after weeks getting it across the line.
What makes my experience with Ampere take a negative toll was after I received a direct payment from my customer.
They then went ahead asking questions I’ve never ever been asked before which had nothing to do with the transaction at all
Such as;
written consent from my landlord???
Tenancy agreement???
Contracts??
Proof of conversations???
Proof of ownership??
Fishing for information away from finances??
Specifics on matters that had nothing to do with the bank at all
A non verified account on LinkedIn called
“ Ampere Verification” has been caught roaming around my social media profiles
A transaction to my personal account I sent on Monday has been pending for 5days - bare in mind it being sent to it before
Helpful customer service
The service was so helpful. I'd been struggling to know how to apply for a merchant account and the support guy Antony cleared everything up for me. It was easier than I thought.

Quick and easy onboarding.
Took me around 10min for making my application and had the account the same day. Very cheap currency exchange rates (that was my main reason for getting Ampere acc)

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!
Signed up to their business account services as was asked for the basic KYC which was an ID, proof of address and incorporation certificate, I supplied this then the silly little games began.....
I was then asked for the following:
-Payslips
-Bank statements
-Sale/purchase agreements
-Sale of assets
-Financial statements
-Profit/Loss statement
-Balance sheets
All of this to open a basic business account haha!!!!
They are delusional if they think I will be providing this for a tacky account.
Their app is horrendous and looks like old/outdated!
I went and opened a business account with LLOYDS Bank, no issues, account opened the very same day :)
Steer clear of AMPERE, they are dodge and the 5 star reviews are clearly left by staff members.
NOTE: Ampere, if you even try and dispute this review, i will go above and beyond to provide TrustPilot everything you have sent me as proof and ensure this review stays.
As I said, stay clear people, do NOT trust them with your hard earned money!!!!!!

Couldn't verify my identify??
I did a live ID verification and used my UK passport, this was all accpeted as well as my proof of address and business.
I find funny how none of the requested documents have asked for my ID again you lairs, all questions you have asked and have requested related to money!!!!
Basically asking how much money I have before I can open an account with your basic account :/
What has my bank balance got to do with my business activities haha!
If you can't verify my ID, why have you not asked for it again? Let's not create more lies here.

Absolutely brilliant
Absolutely brilliant! The customer service is outstanding, making the process of raising invoices significantly easier for my business. I can effortlessly mange them on both my phone and PC at home. I highly recommend this to any business. It is just a pity Ampere does not support switch at the moment. Nonetheless, I am not complaining; it would be 100% perfect with that addition.

Pretty happy with Ampere. I work with suppliers from EU and Ampere offers me free SEPA transactions and a really nice exchange rate. I had some hiccups with them, but support was always available and helped me out.

Not very happy customer
I have been with this bank for some 9 months now and once monies are sent they take long time to process and when money is paid out it is even worth on two occasions they have delayed my money to my mortgagees and they seem to keep asking the same questions every time at first opportunity I will leave this bank
