It was easy to join up and to get a quote. I think the hardest part was logging into the app but I got there in the end. Don’t take it the wrong way guys. I hope I never need you but it’s reassuring that I have the insurance now

I have tried 6 times to make a claim for a missed port on the app (which the insurer advises you to do) which crashes every time. I have tried 3 times on the website which again crashes after the last submit button. I have tried to use the chat on the app to be told you can’t do it that way and to call a number. The person on the phone said to use the website, which crashes. I’ve now spent about 3 hours over the last 2 days, on a claim for a measly £50 🫣 Avoid if you want a quick resolution to any claim!

The site was easy to navigate and understand and most importantly the cost was fair although it could Always be Lower.

Was looking for travel insurance for a cruise. You either know or you don't but if you sneeze the price will go Up. Used a search engine and came back with Gigasure. Read the bumf compared the Bumf to the next two more expensive TBH these came out ahead in some even on most hands down on Price.
We hope never to have to speak with them again until our next holiday but they will be in the running.

My experience with Gigasure has been awful. After a flight delay that ruined my holiday by causing us to arrive 17 hours later to our destination than expected, I contacted them upon our return for compensation. They sent lengthy and detailed forms for me to fill out which took hours. They then asked for more information. This process took weeks, of waiting for them to get back to me, going on wild goose chases for more information and extra details they requested, week after week. Then eventually told me compensation should be covered by the airline and they are not obligated to offer anything. They wasted hours of my life obviously trying to request so much information that I gave up rather than them eventually having to tell me the whole process was pointless. One greart thing they do which should be the law (maybe it is now?), is they do not auto renew your subscription, so there's no extra admin to leave.

Very easy to get travel insurance quotes, excellent price. Having an app makes things easy as well. Would definitely recommend

Easy to setup, reasonable price. I will be interested to see how easy it will be to communicate if there is a problem. An App definitely makes contact easier.
