Good flight times and on time. …
The flight times were good and we booked extra leg room to ensure comfort. We did have a problem on the way back as someone who had not booked extra leg room decided to jump in the spare seat next to my partner and proceeded to fidget all the way home. As soon as we landed be returned to his own seat. We informed the cabin crew but nothing was done. The plane were on time as usual with Jet 2, great service and we were kept informed of our pick up time. We are already having another holiday with Jet 2 early next year. Thank you.

We are frequent holidaymakers with Jet2 Holidays because we find them so reliable and they provide an excellent all round service from booking right through to our return home.
On the very odd occasion when something doesn’t go to plan they are very good at keeping you informed. There are always plenty of representatives available at the various stages of your journey if you need any assistance or guidance.

Company is all about profit margin…which makes for a low quality family holiday.
Flights are from small airports and what we experienced was that they operated at very inconvenient times. Obviously this is the cheapest option for the company. Added to this were inconvenience, there were long delays each way, and upon seeing the jet2 flight status’ on the return leg, there were 11/11 delayed jet2 flights. Zero communication.
The hotel and Jet2 don’t have any special arrangement for late check out (and given the fact that jet2 saved a lot of money by sending us out on a late flight and bringing us back on one even later at night) you wd have thought that was an obvious part of the value add. Overall the hotel was super expensive (eur60 for a football and Eur25 for a box of tampax). Don’t fall for all-inclusive means all-paid for…they will go at you like vultures and entice your family with stuff that should be included.
Worst about it was the guidance and advice we received prior to departure and the patronising, self-serving level of customer service afterwards. Don’t trust a word they say is my only advice.
In conclusion, I would say that if you are booking a weeks family holiday for £4.5k or less all in, then Jet2 will give you a basic no frills experience. If you are spending anymore than £6- £7k steer well clear.
Certainly don’t fall for the ‘indulgent escapes’ branding….the only thing indulged upon is Jet2’s sense of entitlement and opportunism.

Transfer wait and poor Northern Lights tour
Arrived early in Reykjavik ready to make use of the whole day and had to wait over an hour and a half for another flight before our transfer left the airport. On a short 3 day stay with limited daylight this made quite a difference to the amount we could then do on that day.
Very poor Northern Lights tour- taken to one place only, -8 had to stay in the car park for an hour and a half, lots of light from the buildings and no Northern l lights seen Other groups on the same night saw the lights, were taken to at least 3 destinations and also into a cafe to keep warm so very disappointing by comparison.
The flights as always, were excellent.

Great place for preChristmas break.
Our trip to Tenerife was perfect. The Villa Paradise was clean and well appointed, although the lighting was subdued. It was well located in Chayotha, with some nearby restaurants in the town, and many more about 600m in La Camella.
The only disappointment was the lack of maid service, as the 11days we stayed fell between 7 and 14 days. Flights were on time and good.

Black Friday promo still being advertised on website a week after it expired, jet2 aware but not removed, this is misleading as the £100 isn’t applied to bookings, really poor customer service when trying to make them aware to correct this
