Delivery made on time - of one PA speaker, where two had been ordered. Eventually got through on the phone to an agent and was told (implausibily) that one speaker had arrived at the depot late and... See more

Appalling
Appalling, drivers consistently give the weakest possible single knock before quickly slipping a “sorry, we missed you through the box and returning to their van” this has happens every time with DPD. Customer service team are quite simply the worst, virtually impossible to get hold of and when you finally do, they don’t speak a word of English and are quite frankly, very rude and standoffish from the start.
Refuse to listen and will do anything…
Refuse to listen and will do anything to get rid of you. Refuse to give you details on how to complain and keep repeating the same fob off message. Lie convincingly that driver is coming back (he doesn’t) after he’s delivered to wrong address
Lost/Stolen Package
My package I have shipped with DPD that is worth almost 700€'s got lost/stolen in DPD warehouse and they do not even reply to e-mails and saying they will look into it, and try to throw the responsibility to somewhere else. I will report them to the police. They did not even start and investigation on my package, and it has been an month.
Keep getting the same boot message when…
Keep getting the same boot message when inquiring about delivery time. It’s ridiculous that they want you to spend a whole day waiting, however they say they’ll let you know before 12:00. Not a chance in the world to talk to anyone. Just robots and repeated pre prompt messages. Horrible service. Would give a minus if I had the chance. Now just got a message that delivery is delays to the next day, even though spent the whole day in waiting. Worst service ever.
Why is Dpd so bad?!
Is anyone else having the same issues as I keep getting with Dpd? That the drivers can’t be bothered to actually try and deliver the parcels?
On more than one occasion I have received a message ‘claiming’ that they attempted to deliver my parcel but the funny thing is I was at home all morning and have a ring door bell. I’m guessing the driver must have been a special invisible one.
I then requested proof that they tried to deliver the parcel to me, as I had proof that they didn’t, to which customer support said ‘we are not allowed to send such information to you’
Funny that!
Oh and don’t get me started on the complaints process, I think Dpd makes it so hard so you end up giving up so they also don’t have to deal with you.
How can a company be this bad in all areas??
Oh well I suppose I have more ‘missed’ deliveries to look forward to in the future as unfortunately I don’t get a choice in who gets to deliver them.
No sign of iPhone
Was told by sky I’d get phone delivered on Saturday I checked on dpd site and it was at there Dunstable depot at 9.07am kept checking no updates on app just that it was at depot all day after numerous calls to sky and dpd I was finally told that they had so called operational difficulties why did they not say this to start with so not delivered when promised,I suggest that sky use someone a bit more reliable like fedex or ups as the dpd at Dunstable aren’t up to it,should be allowed to collect it if they can’t deliver, supposed to be delivered now on Sunday but I won’t hold my breath complaints lodged with sky and dpd when they eventually open if your thinking of posting using dpd I suggest going elsewhere and if awaiting delivery be prepared for delays in other words avoid!! Update on delivery well there is no update day 2 still no sign of phone I think dpd has lost it,seems like there Dunstable depot is a shambles think manager needs retraining or even get someone who knows what there doing day 2 over still no sign going into day 3 but I’m not expecting delivery I think they’ve lost it,I got a cheap phone sky need to start using a reliable company fed ex or ups as it’s obvious dpd are not up to it now into day 3 yes day 3 no calls no updates dpd clueless Dunstable depot especially another complaint to sky and dpd sky use a decent service FedEx or ups so much more professional going into day 4 think this is a pointless exercise dpd Dunstable are like headless chickens the manager obviously doesn’t know what to do,if it’s not here in morning I’ll go and buy one,as for DPD avoid at all costs
Had a christmas gift for my grandson…
Had a christmas gift for my grandson delivered to the wrong address today luckily for me the neighbour down the street was a genuine person. And came to my home to give me my parcel this was a ps5 console and was expensive and if in the wrong hands I might not have got it bad the address on thw box was very clear and the number they left it at was nothing like mine get a grip dpd and read the addresses properly
Liars - do not use
Liars - I have so many issues with this company.
"Never miss a parcel" they say, jokers.
In particular, today, parcel will be delivered by Ranjit between 12.32-13.32, I've waited in, followed the tracker, order 31, being delivered. Then website goes blank after delivery time, then recieve a text to say my parcel will delivered to Nisa (25 minutes away from me) because no one was in. Lies lies lies, I waited in as its a pretty expensive order. I can prove this via my ring door bell. This happens every single time! Why to a shop so far from me?! And why not actually ATTEMPT to deliver my items. I contact customer service and just get automated responses.

DPD are usually great but they just sent a parcel back to me & not where it was meant to go.... & it's not easy to contact DPD to complain is it?????
I really wish Companies had a phone contact instead of sending u off on tangents to access chat lines..... I have given up & just bloody paid again but printed my own label this time so I can ensure it was correct.
Just annoying in all honesty
I ordered wild bird food from Pets at…
I ordered wild bird food from Pets at home. Sadly the bottom of the box broke. My sacks of food spilt on the pavement but instead of the driver knocking on the door he quietly put the damaged items at the side of my steps. He never checked to see if someone was home and totally ignored the safe place for delivery. He then had the cheeek to throw the broken box in the snicket at the side of my house With my full details on. Reported it to DPD but they didn't seem too interestred.
What improvements could be made are get drivers who give a damm, drivers without a terrible reputation in the area. Get better call handlers but more importantly get staff who realise things have gone wrong to try to get a response, explain the problem and say they will report the problem. Also Dpd should take responsibility for the damaged good and not expect the customer to chase for a replacement with the supplier
I wasn’t in for a delivery and the…
I wasn’t in for a delivery and the courier decided to throw the missed delivery card on my drive rather than posting it through my letterbox. I’ve got video footage of it, tried to complain and all I got was a chat bot going around in circles. What if it had blown away? I’m disgusted.
Consistently poor service!
I would award no stars if it were possible. Cannot understand how despite the really poor service from DPD, companies continue to use this carrier service. Paid express delivery charge for my goods, needed before the weekend, delivery now Monday! Driver was given contact details for me but couldn’t be bothered to phone.
Antique piano stool damaged
DPD delivered an antique piano stool to me from an eBay seller. The stool was damaged with a 3" split in the wooden side and in one of the upright posts. The seller had packed the stool well in a large box with bubble wrap and extra cardboard protection.
The DPD driver didn't stop, just put the large box on my doorstep and left.
So here we have an antique piano stool from the early 1900s that has lasted 120 years with little damage, that is until DPD got hold of it! Avoid at all costs!
Once dependable now Crap DPD service
Waited in for a delivery, received an email from DPD saying ‘someone has tried to deliver but no one was home’. I’m sat on my sofa waiting for this parcel. I checked the Ring door bell. No attempt was made. To add insult to injury the driver dropped the parcel off at a shop that isn’t all that local to me telling me I can collect it from there. I don’t drive. I spoke with DPD who refused to recollect my parcel and deliver it as they should have. Come on DPD you have literally ONE job to do. Delivery parcels! You can’t even do that. DPD were the service you used to rely on. You can’t even do that anymore. Terrible service.
Allegedly attempted a delivery at home…
Allegedly attempted a delivery at home address, whilst I waited in. No one called at the address, no image of the alleged attempt sent, complete fabrication and not the first time. Woeful company.
Cannot be trusted to deliver on time.
I ordered booklets for a funeral in the fastest time I could from Vistaprint, and paid for express service. They foolishly used DPD to ship them. DPD did not deliver them on the day they were supposed to.
Repeatedly appalling service by DPD and…
Repeatedly appalling service by DPD and their drivers. Food ordered first by Simmer and now by Frive thrown inside the front door damaging individual packages, food leaking, unusable, inedible. Limited care by manufacturing companies Simmer & Frive, clearly unwilling to address issues by incompetent DPD delivery personal led by inadequate leaders. Struggle to believe that this company is still around.
Who ate all the Cakes!
DPD were supposed to deliver a very special Anniversary cake. On the day of delivery they claimed there was "an unexpected issue in my area". Total lie since there was a DPD van a few hundred metres from my home at lunchtime. I was advised that delivery would happen the following day. On contacting the (overseas) Customer Support I was told that this could not happen as the item had an expiry date (it being frozen) and would be 'disposed' of. No useful information could be given - just churned out the same soundbites.
DPD and the disappearing Apple product
Yet again DPD have failed to deliver. This time an Apple product has gone missing… surprise surprise. Why do Apple use this terrible firm?
The driver was off like greased lightening
Delivery 3891801305
The delivery man arrived and was off like a flash of light
The delivery man arrived at the appointed time or at least halfway through it. Parked across my drive in his DPD van, then rattled around inside it for about 5mins brfore getting out and back into the driving seat and then drove off. So what has he done with my goods. I stood wating for him to say something to me but he was gone like a flash of lightening
