Awful.
I made a mistake with my delivery address when ordering, and immediately called to correct it. They promised to sent my order to the corrected address, but instead dispatched it in two parts to the wrong address, one of which was delivered, and the remainder was returned to sender. I naively assumed they would resend it to the corrected address, but instead refunded the order and ignored all emails and phone calls.
I will not be ordering from Crew Clothing again. They were once great to deal with but I shall now watch their decline into oblivion and the inevitable acquistion of the brand by Next
Appalling customer service-AVOID
Appalling customer service- bombard me with emails giving free delivery so I buy something, its accepts the code then after purchasing I find the delivery charge has been added back on. I message their customer service expecting to get an immediate refund, no response. I phone ‘refund sent yesterday’, it wasn’t. I raise I complaint on principle as I don’t like being lied to and am given a new code to use when I clearly bought the item several months ago, email again ‘we have processed a refund’ 7 days. Another lie. Will never buy from them again as could not trust them to refund returned items. Shame as nice stuff.
My wife purchased a top in Keswick…
My wife purchased a top in Keswick branch on the 8th October, unfortunately she picked up the wrong size but did not realise until we had left Keswick on coach. However the following day we visited Kendal and found the Crew branch there.
The young lady and manager who dealt with us in store went above and beyond in assisting us with refund and ordering of the right size garment online.
This is the quality of service that exemplifies the highest level of service that unfortunately is rare indeed.

False advertising
False advertising. Collect in store apparently 3-5 working days. The timing has passed, no one can tell me where the item is or when it'll arrive and £80 is a lot of money for an item to just not be anywhere. Ordered it as a birthday gift for my husband and there's no gift to give - was planned with enough notice for time advertised. Will not recommend other than to steer clear.

Ordered 2 items last week. One was sent to the wrong address (my old office address) even though I pointed this out to them. I had even paid express delivery. Terrible customer service and no updates and you have to chase them all the time. Still not received item.

Terrible experience. AVOID!!!
I spent in excess of £400.00 which was deducted from my account immediately and 14 days on I still haven't received a single item!!
I have emailed and they acknowledged my order was delayed but that was on 1st Oct and since then they don't even bother answering my emails.
Thanks heavens I paid using my credit card as I have handed the whole thing over to them, they have refunded the money to my account and they are now dealing with Crew so I don't have to!!!
So sad as their clothes are of good quality but if they never arrive its just appalling!

My husband purchased a 3 for 2 deal of a polo shirt but there was a mistake their end and they failed to honour the deal (customer care don’t care) greedy company that doesn’t care about its clients. Bye Crew hello Gant.
Dreadful customer service.
I have now been waiting 6 weeks for a refund of £7.
I have been sent messages telling me it has been authorised but 3 weeks after the latest "lie" it still hasn't appeared in my account.
They don't even get back to me now once I have submitted a complaint.

Just wanted to thanks the staff at Windsor for their excellent service today. They attended to my every need and also looked after my phone when I mislaid it there.

Disgraceful
I bought a jumper on sale on 30/09. On 01/10 they sent me an email saying they won't be able to fullfill the order due to "stock error" and not to worry about my money because they "only charge on dispatch". I went on their website again to see if I can order another jumper only to see that my original item (and the correct size) was in stock and back to its full-price. I emailed them for some explanation, unfortunately they were not able to provide any good ones, again reassuring me that I won't be charged for my order (I never raised this as my concern). What a disgraceful way to run a business and treat your customers. The email makes it sound like the item is out of stock ("stock error"), while most likely someone at Crewe Clothing clearly made a mistake of putting additional items on sale. The Crewe Clothing displays a lack of transparency and a very poor attempt to make this situation look a lot better than it really is. I know for a fact this happened to other people, as someone I know also had their order cancelled in the same way.

First and last time I use this company. Due to poor experience regarding processing, delivery of order and communication.
I won't be ordering from again
I had never ordered from before. I ordered a sweatshirt but many days later refunded as they couldn't fulfill the order despite still showing stock online. I'm glad I checked here as I won't be placing any other orders given my initial experience and reading the comments here. An odd way to run a business.

This company don’t deserve 1 star! Poor customer service from store to online! Avoid! Look these bad reviews! Small companies were working hard to keep customers satisfied, but big companies like this one THEY DONT CARE!!
Appalling Customer Service
I have bought Crew Clothing products for many years and I love the designs they produce each season. The quality and fit varies greatly between different products, however, I generally find them comparatively good value for money.
The staff in the branches are friendly and helpful, although I usually prefer to shop online to have access to a greater number of products.
In the past when I have called customer services, I recall they were very helpful. I have recently had to call them on a couple of occasions, due to items showing as ‘in stock’ but then they have been unable to fulfil the orders I have placed. They state that they do not charge until items are dispatched, however, one week later the amount is still showing as pending on my bank account. The customer service staff lack even basic product knowledge, blaming the web team for the issues, but unable to answer website related questions or to connect me to someone who can assist.
This once excellent company will very quickly fail if they do not rapidly improve their customer service. I for one am now reluctant to give them any further business.
Broken promises and poor customer service.
I purchased a shirt online from Crew in early August ‘25 for £25. When it arrived it had a price tag of £18 on it, obviously from a Crew Clothing outlet store. I messaged customer services on 13th August and complained. They apologised and offered a £7 refund, which I accepted. When it hadn’t materialised by early September I contacted them again and on 14th September was assured it would be with me within 5 days. 13 days later still nothing. My advice to anyone is DO NOT buy anything from Crew Clothing unless you are absolutely certain you are not going to need to return it, because that’s where your problems will begin. I have bought hundreds of pounds worth of clothing from them over the years but no more.
Great product and good value for money!
I bought a pair of shoes (size 4) from Crew Clothing. They arrived on the scheduled date (one week after order). The shoes were well-presented, well- made and fitted perfectly. I have read some negative views about customers experiences but my experience was great. I am really pleased with my purchase and would buy from them again.
I went to order two T-shirts
I went to order two T-shirts. It said you can buy 3 for 2 so I bought 3 - ended up paying for 3! Complained3 times and had zero response from all three emails- terrible service.

Long wait in the customer service ‘help’ line queue (joke!)
The company then provided three different emails for communicating with them. None worked.
I’m still waiting for another response from the customer service team. They told me that my complaint had been escalated. Good thing I am not holding my breath.
I think they are in deep trouble as a company. They have closed my local shop (Cambridge).
Having been a loyal customer I will never go near them again and urge others to avoid them.
