Spoke with Sarah about the technical reasoning behind the closing down of my landline access to cheap international calls due to everything joint digital. While I wasn’t too happy about it, I was given excellent support and advice reassuring me and my wife that there were alternative solutions which meant I wasn’t left in the dark for taking the appropriate next steps to resolve our problem. I called yesterday and it was poor
Spoke to someone at length who said they would transferred me and put me back on hold on main switch board
Same again today ….frustrating!!
However a young gentleman who was helpful transferred me to Grant who was absolutely brilliant, a real credit to your company 🙏

I couldn't have received better support than I did today. There was an issue with the config of my router which Liam identified and resolved in 10 minutes. And this was done via chat without my having to hang on the phone for ages. Many thanks Liam.
Phone call to technical help answered straight away. Technician,Norbert recognised problem immediately and gave appropriate instructions to fix the issue: voip service not connected, requiring phone number registration. Very patient with my one finger typing of required information and mistakes.
Problem issue resolved and tested at Norberts’ suggestion satisfactorily. Very pleasing.
Great guidance from Norbert today talking me through configuration of my router to enable my landline.

The person who dealt with my enquiry that resulted in us deciding not to terminate our contract with Fleur and to go to Talk-Talk who provide the internet service for our other home was excellent. He was very efficient in appraising the current situation and proposing a new one that suited us much better. And he was a very good person in terms of his phone manner and communication skills and altogether a very pleasant person to spend a fair bit of time on the phone with.

Although I have had issues with Fleur in the past I have to thank Khimalli who very patiently talked me through the process to reconfigure my router. Brilliant.I also had help from one his female colleagues yesterday who was equally patient and helpful but unfortunately I didn’t catch her name.

I could not get my land line connected after having fiber installed, I tried for many days but no luck, then I got a lady called Sarah who took me through the set up and took control of my computer she was brilliant thanks SARAH and thanks to fleur for having such people to help me

"I'm calling on behalf of my partner. A thunderstorm has just blown the phone socket off of her wall - it is now charred black. She has no mobile signal at home and had to walk up a hill to call me. Open Reach website says to contact you."
Wouldn't pass information to Open Reach without speaking to my partner who, along with her neighbours, have lost their landlines and have no mobile signal.
Fleur Telecom apparently lack flexibility and so don't provide a reasonable service for their rural customers :-(

Could it get worse? Er, yes.
With much trouble my partner phoned Fleur who then wanted email confirmation of when she would be available for an engineer's visit. She managed that writing:
"Dear Fleur Telecom,
I spoke to one of your colleagues this morning and gave her dates for when I am available, they are as follows
All day 14th May
All day 15th May
8-1pm 16th May
All day Saturday"
to which they responded with the following:
"The only available date out of your provided dates is the 16th but from what you wrote it's unclear whether you want us to book an AM or PM appointment. Please clarify and also provide further dates in case that date is no longer available."
How do these people get the job in the first place? Is there no screening of the basic abilities necessary? You have to laugh or you'd cry.
As soon as this is sorted we'll be looking for a different ISP as a matter of urgency!
