Totally professional and courteous…
Totally professional and courteous installer, explained everything and was very tidy
Excellent Install
From the remote survey and communication before the installer turned up to the actual install it was a five star experience. The install was how I hoped it would go and the installer was helpful and tidy.
Home charging fault resolved
Rhiza from customer support was able to rectify the problem on our home charger in a timely and clear way. She was able to talk me through the situation even though there were some technical issues to deal with. At all times she was polite and explained everything very well.

took quite a few months to find out what was wrong with my charger but we got there in the end. Carmen my pod point assistant was kind and helpful and polite. when asked for compensation they happily obliged - thank you pod point !
My new solo 3 pod point charger.
The hole process from order to install has been very good. The only problem I had was getting the charger paired to my pod point app. But having spoken to the customer services who were able to pair it over the air all seems good now.

Daniel delivered an outstanding service, he was highly professional, efficient, and demonstrated excellent customer care throughout the installation. Everything was handled smoothly with clear communication and attention to detail. It was reassuring to see such expertise paired with genuine courtesy, making the whole experience stress-free and positive.
Pod point failure
Our Pod Point Solo failed suddenly 1 year after the warranty expired. When we opened it, the plastic inside the unit had melted and the copper wire had been completely destroyed. All of the damage was inside the unit. Two independent electricians said it looked like a manufacturing or installation fault, not wear and tear.
Pod Point’s first response was to ignore the content of the photos and refuse to engage with the fact that the unit had burned internally and could have been dangerous. Instead, they tried to charge £190 for a “survey” plus £600+ for a replacement. After pushing back, they finally sent an engineer who confirmed the unit couldn’t be repaired and agreed it wasn’t wear and tear.
Citizens Advice told us this falls under the Consumer Rights Act because it’s a defect, not wear and tear, and our rights last up to six years. Despite that — and despite their own engineer ruling out wear and tear — Pod Point are still refusing to replace or even acknowledge the unsafe because the warranty has expired.
Pod Point aftercare is a complete joke, they hide behind expired warranties and upselling rather than doing right by their customers. It appears that when something goes seriously wrong with their product and try to profit.

Wall Charger not of Merchantable Quality
My wall charger failed within two months of the warranty expiring. Pod Point declined to offer any financial assistance towards the replacement wall charger on the grounds that the warranty was only twelve months.
When I produced evidence confirming their five year warranty, Pod Point made other excuses not to help with any financial contribution.
The wall charger is not of Merchantable Quality in my opinion. I will NOT be using Pod Point next time. Expect your Pod to last only the length of the warranty [not good for such an expensive outlay]. I do recommend thorough research before making a purchase of this nature.
