Terrible Service — Charged After Cancellation, Ignored on App
We cancelled our subscription back in December and returned the box within 10 days, exactly as instructed. Despite this, we are still being charged, and now our account is blocked. Staff in-store were unhelpful and online advisors didn’t properly cancel our subscription as requested.
They even forced us to download their app to get “support” — but after opening a chat, they simply stopped responding. Completely unacceptable.
We will not pay for your employees' mistakes. If this isn’t resolved immediately, we’ll take legal action. Avoid this company at all costs.
If I can give zero stars
If I can give zero stars, I would, Bouygues steals from you. They sell their cheap package of 9 euros or whatever per month and then all of a sudden, boom, you are hit with excess fee on excess fee. I've even been billed for things in foreign countries when I've been in France. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER
Trying to get internet connected…
Trying to get internet connected through Bouygues has been the single most challenging part of moving to Bordeaux.
We have waited more than 2 months to be connected, with 4 cancellations, and multiple times have being told that we would be contacted by the company
This just never happened.
We will be returning their equipment and use a different provider; I would strongly advise that anyone considering Bouygues look at alternative providers.

I have tried three times to order a sim and set up a monthly payment with my French bank account registered to my French house. Each time it has been cancelled with no explanation.
There is not even a customer service email to write to.
Judging by the lousy reviews, I have had a narrow escape and I will take my business elsewhere.

Terrible service. They steal from you that's all they know to do. Make up lies to sell and then look at your bank balance and here surprise. The worse is that they know and all they say is oh sorry we will deduct your next bill. Whattttttt they take today and think a month from now its easy to wait. They are charlatans. Positive overall
Lot's of 1 stars but my experience have been positive. Bought a phone, and a ligne and all was smooth for now (2 years later). Special thanks to Ismael who helped a lot in my lengthy procedudes.
Good provider for tourists
In July 19 to 23, I had Bouygues Telecom (roaming from Play) for 4 days. Internet and cell service was great. Every location, I had good service (3-5 bars), great internet and could call flawlessly. When I waited for Metro, everything worked and i had 200mbps.

the worst company in the world, they block you the calls for no reasons, service of clients the worst. you can't reach them. their big intersts is charging you without services. and if you reclame the refund they'ill tell you because one of section of the law. the law don't tell just charge people without services. so is the worst experience i had with a company of telecomunication.

Terrible service - rude technician, bad website, you have to wait for hours to speak to anybody on the telephone. Use another service provider and avoid at all costs!
Do not ever deal with Bouygues
If I could give Bouygues no stars I would. We cancelled our internet connection at the end of August when we left France. Bouygues say we did not but we have screenshots that prove that we did. They are now charging us for months of internet connection when the line was already cut off and we no longer even lived in France. Do not deal with this company under any circumstances.

Terrible internet. Use another company. I pay for it at home and constantly need to use my cell service just to do basic work tasks on my computer because the internet is so slow.

I want to tell you about my experience with this company. The eSIM card I bought from them My eSIM card was not activated according to the company's instructions.It did not activate,not work at all. I traveled to Europe I contacted the technical department of the company by email and again this eSIM card was not activated, so I went to Europe then bought another eSIM card there and came back in two weeks.After returning from Europe, I contacted the company. that they return my money, and they don't want to return it for some false reason. And they tell me that the card is active and they don't want to return my money. Or they say that 5 US dollars will be deducted from the card. This is a kind of fraud. Because I wanted to use I tried to do it, but it was not activated. And now I want my money, which they don't give me.
10 Euro for 1 Mb in Moldova
I even not get out of plane and get huge problems, and in addtionional is constant spam, always some spammers writed me about courts and fake invoices on other people names...
Its every day dozens calls from spammers i alredy not accepted phone call from anyone...
Expats avoid
Bouygues are the worst company that I have ever encountered. I give one star because I cannot give lower than that.
I needed a phone and internet so called an English speaking company called Selectra who assured me that Bouygues was the best choice for mhy village and had 5G coverage. Two days later I discovered that this was a lie and cancelled, well within the two week cooling off period.
I was supplied with nothing but that did not stop Bouygues taking money from my bank account and after I had clawed my money back Bouyges blocked me from having a phone in France

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY IF YOU'RE TRAVELING.
If you are traveling in France and looking to use a cellular service don't even think of using this company. Once you buy a prepaid sim card, if you do not have an annual plan, they are not interested in servicing them in their boutique locations. They are not interested in showing you how to update your data or extend your sim card for another month.They just tell you to go to a tobbaconist and buy a new sim card. Which means you get a new phone #.
Fortunately the tobbaconist was a lot more helpful. When I explained what I was looking for he offered 3 different companies which offered much better plans.
BOUYGTEL also have the lowest data amount. I bought a 10€ sim card, which is standard for all companies, and a 20€ data plan. This was for just 2 GB of data.
On the tobbaconist's advise I purchased a SFR sim card, 10€ and for an additional 15€ got 80GB of data.
Bouygtel, IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HELP TOURISTS STOP SELLING PREPAID SIM CARDS!!! I will be watching for your response.
