I was told over the phone that my out-of-plan charges were settled, but I still received a €120 bill, just because my phone was not in airplane mode. Verbal promises from the advisors are not kep... See more

Rubbish
Suppose to be an unlimited data package but ran out in a day. No support. Don't buy if you are a tourist.
Did not work
Did not work ! It said the card would work in Italy even though it is a French company. But to get to Italy I had to change planes in Paris where I received a message to welcome me with the new phone number. When I arrived in Italy, the eSIM didn’t work. Waste of money !
I should have waited and just buy a card in Italy that were sold at the currency exchange. booth. Simpler and would have worked.
Awful customer care
Awful customer care, they have charged my card for extras for months and it is impossible to contact them. Even going into their stores does not help.
Disappointed by both technical and customer service
I was a Bouygues Bbox customer from November 2018 to August 2024. Throughout this period, I found the speed of both their broadband and fiber services to be consistently below the advertised values and very unstable, affecting both upload and download speeds. Despite contacting customer support multiple times, both during my broadband service and after switching to fiber, the issues with speed were never resolved.
In August 2024, I requested to terminate my contract effective September 2nd, as I was leaving France. I provided a letter from my employer confirming my departure date, but my request was initially rejected because Bouygues did not accept the letter. After further communication by phone, they unexpectedly terminated the service on August 19th, rather than the requested date of September 2nd. Consequently, I was charged for the entire month of August, despite losing service before the month ended.
I reached out to Bouygues to resolve this issue, but they did not respond to my email. Given the demands of my move, I don't have the time to deal with this incompetence. Fortunately, I can rely on my mobile phone for internet access, which, thankfully, is not with Bouygues.
Worst eSIM card of my life.
Worst eSIM card of my life.
Their SIM had no calls or texts working.
No 5G anywhere even though it's advertised. Edge or 3g generally, some slow 4g. Overall terrible.
NOthing good to say
Bouygues operates illegally and by harassing its customers
Bouygues was my phone carrier for 8 years. The prices tripled. They started charging me €68.99 monthly. I switched my service to Free. Bouygues continued billing me. Then sent threatening emails to take legal action against me. Tried accessing my account. Bouygues blocked access to my account. Then continued sending threatening emails. I want to take legal action against them. They are a horrid company motivated by anger and harassment of its customers.
Trying to keep our sanity
I desperately need to get ahold of a representative to amend my contract and add a phone for my 17yr old who is suffering from homicidal ideation and his sadistic father randomly stopped paying for his phone service in June
Since June...
- I've been ignored when writing to their handicapped area on their website
- Ignored repeatedly when I put my number in on their site, requesting a representative contact me
- Struggled to deal with 2 reps when I called their store in Poitiers 86, was told a 3rd English speaking rep would call me the next day... Nothing
- Left a bad review on an adventure on Facebook, was contacted by an AI not, told I'd be contacted, that was July 12th, it's now July 20th and NOTHING
I only have access to 60gb a month after being randomly switched to Bouygues when crédit mutuel started only using their service, which is not enough for the mental health needs of me and my son, meaning thus far 4 missed online therapy RDVs
There's also the risk of racism/xenophobia as I'm a white American but my first name is noticably Arabic, I do speak French but not well enough to function in France due to a stroke and prolonged chronic psychological manipulation and endangerment from my ex and people in positions of power
We are literally trapped here until my son is 18 and my ex knows how hard I struggle to do anything here, he knows my son needs access to online therapy but doesn't want to pay, best way is to cut our ability to function and Bouygues is making it WORSE
I'm doing everything in my power to keep my son from taking the law into his own hands and all I get is sabotage or game playing
I don't have access to a car, I live in the middle of nowhere so I can't go to a store in person and the website is useless at giving clear information based on my needs
I'm at my wits end which puts my life in danger because if I go too deep in a panic attack due to my own CPTSD, I risk having another stroke which I can't afford due to how it would impact my son and validly put his father and the general public at risk!
Oh... And spam, so much spam and scams and crank calls
Would NOT recommend
Product bought was defective
Product bought was defective. Takes weeks to get reimbursement...And you have to return the product at your own costs...
Also when travelling overseas, they charged me 85 eur for checking three messages...Insane company...
I have tried to complain on the French rating site but their lawyers seem to have found a way to keep negativity out of it...
Without prejudice sequence of events
Several events happened between October 2023 & July 2024, escalating seriousness in nature.
1) Bills increased by 17€ (27%) unilaterally with scope of contract remaining unchanged.
2) Fibre requested. After having removed a fridge, hob and cooker to access cables, the engineer said it couldn't be done and left. The tv access was due to terminate the following day, requiring a 40km drive to reinstate. The signal remained intermittent since early May.
3) Several conversations followed, finally the engineer advised me to contact Orange.
4) Free finally, after one month without internet or TV, installed fibre over a 4 hour period
5) Bouygues continued invoicing mobile, tv and internet until I instructed bank to oppose debit.
6) I received a letter threatening recovery of outstanding monies
7) Both sms and email responses prove inaccessible via my personal space, leaving me no right to reply.
Spammers
my business is continually being spammed by these morons. I've even contacted their CEO & received no response. I do not recommend dealing with any busioness that scams and then doesn't respect your requests to be removed.
Scammers, they increase price every few months.
Worst company, scammers. Every few months they increase the plan without asking me. When6inadked customer care they were not very polite and said. This is how things works in France. (indirect racism)
Do not sign with them
Do not sign with them. When signing the price is good, but they surely take their fair share increasing to 30€ /month after one year! Then try getting out of this deal… As moving to France and then quitting their service, they come up with a movement fee of 59€ without explaining that if you move countries you are entitled to not pay it. After a month of leaving the contract and returning all equipment and being told all is in order, they come with an extra 59€ to pay for a “technical fee”. It is a complete and slow ripoff designed to want you to just let it go and let them take it finally only to not have to ever deal with them.
DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY - Ive used so many eSIMS and have never had a worse experience than with Bouygues. I purchased and installed the eSIM because it was a great deal and it was recommended on a popular travel site. I should have done more research because after I installed it I had no service. Turned it off and on again a couple times and finally the signal came through - but it did not work. Nothing would load, no social media apps, no web browsers, and IMessages would not send. Total scam and a waste of money!!
I purchased two 30 day 30GB eSims, terrible support
I purchased two 30 day 30GB eSims, one for my wife and one for me. I activated them before we left the USA. I disabled our US only Sims while waiting for our plane in on Saturday Apr 20th. We arrived in Amsterdam early in the morning on Sunday the 21st. On arrival, neither plan worked. Once I got on WIFI I sent an email to Bouygues support outlining the problem. I didn't get a response back until Monday the 22nd, acknowledging my issues. After providing my purchase information multiple times and getting and checking APN information (which hadn't changed) by Friday April 26st they finally got my wife's eSim fully working and and my eSim working with data only (no phone calls, which is part of what I wanted). Long story short...After 27 emails back and forth over the course the next 3 weeks, I was not able to get a resolution. Bottom line, Bouygues tech support is terrible (both US and France based)! The morons at the French support site kept responding in French via SMS, which the eSim they sold me doesn't support, so I could not respond.
Intervention super efficace de Florian…
Intervention super efficace de Florian Boutique Leclerc Blagnac.
Bravo!
This company is disappointing
This company is bs. The workers were nice but could never provide me with what I wanted, essentially lied to me about the offer prices and skipped a lot of details when I bought a phone from them. My wifi box took weeks for them to setup and the service is honestly just terrible. I shouldn’t have to wait this long for the wifi, it’s been almost a month and I’m still waiting for the wifi box to actually activate and work. Each time I took an appointment I had to wait more than a week, the staff aren’t corporative either, I’m disappointed. I don’t have time for this.
This company are crafty
This company are crafty! They send out what looks like a marketing email which is actually signing you up for a different package and is up to the customer to cancel the contract which will start the next month if the customer does not call to cancel the contract. This is a terrible and dishonest marketing tool as they hope people will not res their emails. It also takes time out of the day to try and cancel the demand. The website is also terrible whivh doesn’t help. It is a dishonest way of touting for business. Many more of these and we will look elsewhere!
Need to be aware it is a French servic
When I purchased it for use in the UK I didn't receive information that I would get a French number. It did work in the UK but I had no idea of usage as the ability to check was only available intermittently. I kept receiving voice mails in French which I didn't understand. I had to register it which was also problematic as all the information required had to be French. I was eventually sent a French address and used my own passport number and that worked. The service itself was actually good but as it was more for calls than internet I wasn't happy that I couldn't monitor usage
Bouygues Telecom worst internet provider I've ever seen
First I never thought it possible for a internet provider to make AOL look amazing but here we are Bouygues Telecom.
The internet is so unreliable that it's out more than you have a connection, also the costumer service is incompetent and have no clue what they are doing.
The people in the Bouygues stores are more helpful and knowledgeable than any of the CRS but their hands are tied by the company on how much they can help you.
Bouygues should be like Sprint and use a slogan only instead of "can you hear me now", "am I connected yet".
But even more my wife just got off the phone with them and they said there was a bug on our account that limited our internet, now from what I know this kind of activity is illegal,BUT with how much France's justice system is so pro-big business it will never give you what you deserve.
And if you want an example of that look at the young lady who went for an exam at a hospital and came out blind and no legs or arms she was awarded 760 hundred thousand euros, for the hospital's mistake.
The worst service ever
It's the worst service ever! I payed 6 months for their services but as they couldn't set up my internet – it never worked. So I payed for services I never got. And the rejected me in reimbursement.
Choose Sosh or Orange they are much nicer and customer-oriented.
