Very poor online experience
Very slow online service. I've been stuck at a chat window for over an hour. They say they've reset my email address and sent me a link to reset my password but when I try to log in I can't. But they only offer an online service so now what do I do???

Where to start? First, always beware of companies where you can't speak to a real person. 1st red flag. See the reviews here relating to additional charges that most express they were unaware of; note the poor chap who got no refund after only two months of cover due to him selling his car. 2nd red flag. My renewal price was over 50% more than the best one generated by comparison sites, I told them I wouldn't be renewing yet still ignored my wishes and tried to persuade me to stay with a much higher price. This is the first insurance company I have dealt with that charges a fee (£15) for missing a direct debit payment. There are much better providers out there.

Great Price but would not accept Proof of no claim bonus from Admiral. After a lot of correspondence it seems they do not accept emails from Admiral unless in the correct format (PDF) Admiral send them in EML format! Unless you are up with this Jargon you will struggle dealing with them. They do not even accept the Admiral format even if you convert it to PDF yourself. It would be better for everyone if they simply gave you a email address to simply forward the Admiral email on instead of trying to upload it.

Be very careful of cancellation policy
Be very careful of cancellation policy. I was 2 months' into a policy year (auto-renewed) when I decided to sell my car. I got no refund at all as the charges amounted to more than the cost of my policy! They came up with multiple charges - the £55.99 cancellation charge on page 10 of their policy document - but also additional fees from "within the policy" (they referred me to page 12 of their policy document) which came to a further £64.99. These were not made clear when I took out the policy. Anyway, altogether it wiped out any refund I might have got. So it's a cheap policy if you renew but an expensive policy if you cancel - beware!

Ok if you like being re-directed
Having to go around 3 different companies just to find out how much my renewal will be is a joke. Charlie on the live chat was very helpful but other than that I dread having to try to communicate or get a quick answer. One Click, One Call, and then the Insurers who directed me back to One Call.

I contacted this week to look at the cost of switching my insurance for a new vehicle, the on line chat was good..... and I got a transcript of it but I NEED TO SPEAK TO A HUMAN BEING on the phone not just on line...
