My son has autism and has used Just Eat countless times. He placed an order through this company recently for a McDonald's. He was sent the wrong order. I normally help him with things like this, but I was at the hospital visiting my sick sister. He went on the app to inform them. He got an email saying they were working on his refund, then he received another stating that at that time they would not be refunding him. No idea why. At that point I got involved and sent a scathing email. I had a response asking for proof which was photo of what was delivered in wrong order and receipt, which I did. Needless to say I have not received a reply. Disgusting! In the wrong order he received 2 small bottles of orange juice (no food). He spent £16.03. Bloody expensive bottles of juice! I am so angry. Won't be using Just Eat again!

Just eat stole money
Just eat refused to provide my mum a refund of nearly £30 after one of their delivery drivers gave her the wrong items.
My mum ( not tech savvy at all ) ordered a McDonald’s which was due to be delivered at 10pm, the delivery happen to also pick up a co-op order for someone else at the same time.
Instead of giving the McDonalds order to my mum they gave her the co-op order and still accepted my mums code , before she managed to re open the door to let him know he had already left, my mum who isn’t tech savvy tried to complain online but couldn’t and she phone McDonalds who told her to complain to just eat. Now I appreciate she didn’t get any photos of the order but after I wrote a very detailed explanation on email which included a full description of not only my mums order but the co-op order also just eat simply replied with “ we take these matters very seriously but due to no photos we cannot take this matter any further “
Luckily we have spoken to citizens advice who have said we are covered by the consumer rights act 2015 and are going to take it a step further as essentially now they have stolen money.

Absolute DISGRACE!!! 56 pounds desert from cha chas that never even turned up and they ignored the phone, told us an hour later it had been left outside, checked and it was NOT THERE. Beyond a joke just eat has done nothing whatsoever to help or refund i will be taking this further! This place needs shut down what a foul way to treat people and completely rip them off!!! Ordered £30 worth of food
Ordered £30 worth of food, which arrived late, cold, soggy and totally inedible. I’ve been offered £6 refund. Shocking outcome, no incentive to use them again .
The moral of the story is, forget Just Eat, order direct from restaurants, shops etc, you have more of a chance getting any problems resolved fairly .

Just Eat are a joke!!! They dont give a stuff about customers, all about money and nothing else. Allowing sub-par 'restaurants' to dupe you, then claiming they can do nothing about it. Not posting reviews you make on ther site, and changing the star ratings you give. I will never use them again. I only used them as I was gifted a card to use. But would rather no one buy gift cards for there - give your friends cash instead, then they can go elsewhere and use someone that's actually reputable and gives a damn about their customers.

The driver stole my food
The driver pulled into the carpark and sat there for 3-5 minutes then left and marked my delivery as completed. I was in the glass fronted lobby of the building and no one got out of in to the car so that's how I knew it was the delivery driver.
Contacted customer service explaining what had happened and that I wouldn't get a chance to get more food for over 6 hours later. got the same scripted response 5 times. Got refunded but won't be in my account for a week. Asked for compensation and got told the decision was final.
Very poor customer service won't be using this service again and will be letting everyone know not to use them.

I think the lack of communication especially when things are delayed is really poor especially when you keep putting back times and then say we can’t have a refund because the restaurant have prepared the prefer already and then deliver it an hour later is ridiculous. Paid extra for an item which wasn’t delivered. Tried to claim for a refund on the item that was not delivered and they denied it and closed the case. Clearly no effort put in.
Been ordering with them for years. God knows what my spend has been (some shameful figure I’m sure) but will never order again. All for the sake of a fiver …

Do not use just eat any more! I ordered McDonald's through just eat, waited for 3 hours and it just kept saying they were waiting for a driver so I called McDonald's to see if they could give me some information on why it was taking so long and they told me they had already gave my order to the just eat driver over an hour ago but he got in the car and ate the order in the car!! It then took me a further 2 hours to get in contact with just eat for them to tell me McDonald's hasn't completed my order but they had so i sent them a recording of the phone call I had with McDonald's and screen shots of the times keep changing for them to finally make up a lie that McDonald's cancelled my order and then they sent me a refund but McDonald's did not cancel my order the just eat driver ate it in front of McDonald's! And tried to blame them, I certainly will not be using just eat ever again and I advise everyone to do the same

Ordered a chicken shsh with Salad and potato wedges food was delivered very early within a few minutes. chicken was literally covered in tomato sauce mixed up with the lettuce and cucumber .The chicken tasted only of pure Salt absolutely disgusting not fit for human consumption. Ordered takeaway came upto £40 but my partner fell asleep so cancelled it 10 mins later. They cancelled it but refused to refund me! I have emailed them but no reply..shock! They have robbed off me before when I ordered the takeaway had forgotten a pizza so asked for the money back for the pizza and they refused. Absolutely disgusting. If you accept a cancellation then you're entitled to a full refund!

I like the whole experience of Just Eat. They make it easy for me to choose some excellent offers on the kind of food that I enjoy. The website is above par. Their deals on free delivery are competitive. I always choose Just Eat for food delivery. I have been a customer for years now and would not consider any other food delivery service.
