Go anywhere but here!

We went into the Nottingham shop based in the Victoria Centre, with every intention of purchasing a new iPhone.

The sales assistant was condescending and rude. He was clearly agist. Not only did he laugh at our existing phone, he also laughed at my wife’s Apple Watch (version SE) asking in fake shock and sarcasm “is that a version 1?”
I would state we are in our mid 50’s and not even grey haired!

He said “you people are funny and make me laugh” and when asking what the “e” on the 16e stood for he said ”easy”. When double questioning this he said, “no not really, but I said that for you!”

He was clearly not interested in selling us a phone as apparently he told us Apple were about to bring in a new phone in a couple of weeks, and said if we wanted a 16 it would take 3 weeks to get it!

We left the shop not believing a word he said, and have told as many people as possible about the terrible attitude.

Furthermore, we went immediately to John Lewis next door and bought a new iPhone.

Purchased a 14-inch MacBook…

I recently purchased a 14-inch MacBook Pro M4 Pro. I ordered it using their online portal, and it was a smooth experience. All communications were through email, and their team was very quick in processing the order. Similarly, the delivery was exceptionally fast, and the device is working as expected. If you're looking to buy an Apple product, look no further.

Great Product but Poor Delivery and lack of Understanding

I recently placed a high-value order with KRCS and was initially pleased with their communication and the quality of the products. However, the delivery experience was extremely disappointing. KRCS uses TNT for deliveries, which turned out to be a major issue. Despite the order being sent via express delivery, TNT falsely marked two delivery attempts without ever actually arriving at my address. No calling card was left, and their customer service was completely unreachable. I couldn’t speak to anyone to resolve the issue.

After waiting four working days without any delivery or clear update, I had to arrange to collect the parcel myself from TNT’s depot which was in a remote location nearly an hour away. I incurred a travel cost of nearly £25 and spent almost three hours making the trip. I shared this with KRCS and politely requested a goodwill reimbursement for the expense, but they declined, stating that I should have waited for them to arrange redelivery (which was never communicated as an option at the time). The lack of support in resolving the issue or covering reasonable costs was disappointing.

What a great service. I placed an order with KRCS on Friday 25/07 about midday. My goods were delivered today, Monday 28th at 10:10am. I was kept informed fully all the way. Thank you the KRCS team.

KRCS a Recommended Company for Macs.

I was recommended this company to buy a new Apple laptop and that their prices are very competitive, so after comparing it with other sites I ordered a MacBook Pro which arrived the following day as advertised, so all is good! I'm now looking forward to enjoying it and getting my work done.

Very impressed with KRCS, I had no knowledge of them in the past and was looking for a. new laptop. The responses and the speed of response was excellent. Within a short period of time my product was on its way. Great company highly recommended

Awful tracking process

I've just received a tracking link today for my computer to be delivered tomorrow. It was actually delivered two days ago, with no notice given, whilst we were out! Originally due a week and a half ago; I started to chase where it was and when I might receive it. Apparently it's still due to arrive tomorrow!

Awful process!
I ordered before 3PM expecting my order the next day (as per their website and also the item was in stock!) next day zero news, no tracking nothing !
I called 2 times to cancel it as I’m going on holiday the following Monday, all of that to ask me to send an email which I did 3 times (they say they will answer within 2H, that a lie) 24H without any reply (still waiting) order still
Not cancelled or nowhere to be found! Their live chat never works and if you get LUCKY to get someone on the phone the only outcome would be “send an email”!
Outrageous will never recommend!

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with KRCS Lenton Lane in Nottingham. I brought my phone in for a battery replacement, which cost me £95. When I collected my phone, I noticed new scratches on the display that were not there before. When I raised this issue with the staff, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude. The employee claimed the scratches were already present and accused me of trying to get a free display replacement. They told me my only option was to "go out through the front door." This lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable for an authorised Apple service provider. I am deeply disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere for repairs.

Good afternoon I understand you’re disappointed about the physical damage to your iPhone. I want to assure you that it wasn’t caused during the battery replacement. As an official Apple Authorised Service Provider, we take great pride in using only official Apple-provided repair fixtures, tools, and processes. We don’t require anything more than a small rubber suction cup to hold an iPhone display in position while we work on the battery replacement.

I’m genuinely sorry if you feel like our technician didn’t handle the situation the way you expected. However, I believe they were faced with a rather unusual and challenging situation.

We’re committed to making improvements to our processes to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future. We’ll thoroughly review this case and take necessary actions to ensure that such situations don’t occur again.

A great experience and purchase

I was first in contact with staff at KRCS around January 2016. This was to have the 1TB HD removed from my late 2015 iMac and replaced by a 2TB SSD. Living within 5 miles of their store at Lenton I delivered my iMac 27" and discussed options and price. Staff met were found to be very pleasant and professional. Since collecting the updated iMac it is still performing to spec but too old for latest OS and Windows 11 so I had to move on.

I first contacted KRCS this second time and was in contact initially with Henry, early April and a new iMac 24" M4 2TB/32MB ordered. Owing to unexpected medical problems I had to cancel my order and seek my refund. This was accepted and the order cancelled.

Two weeks later with my medical panic over I contacted KRCS again and with Henry away sorted everything with Sam. Again both of these gentlemen were very pleasant and professional. I now awaited my 3 to 4 week delivery. Surprise, surprise a knock on the door to find a young lady from DHL with a large brown box on my rear step. Yes, she said, it is a computer and I was overjoyed to receive it much earlier than expected.

I have been working on both computers now for 6 days, not without stress (I am old LOL) but just about sorted.

The computer is excellent, as was the service from KRCS and I am very happy, especially with the small discount, I am happy to highly recommend KRCS and their staff.

APPLE IPad- 5 minutes and sorted!

APPLE PROBLEM - Look no Further! - My Wife turned her IPad off as we were going on a week’s cruise - I took mine to use “on shore” to keep up to date. On return my Wife could see new Headlines appearing for newspapers we have Apps for BUT no connection. As 67 yr old I tried shutdown; re-set to lose internet connection to hopefully attempt to solve the problem but no joy. Luckily I saw a firm, KRCS on my iPad and I booked an appointment for that afternoon. Based in Hull city centre, the 2 staff were great! The Manager understood, fiddled technically for 2 minutes and said “all sorted”. An APPLE update did not like our extra security App and once removed- problems sorted!! WITH MANY THANKS!! Would not accept a payment, just to advertise where they are. Well here it is and Thanks Again.

Terrible delivery experience

Terrible delivery experience, the incompetent courier decided to lie and seemed like they didn't want to work so they didn't deliver my device and didn't bother apologizing and attempting to re deliver it same day, I needed this device urgently for work and contact family so the timing is terrible and now will have to wait until next week because of their incompetence. I sincerely hope the people don't go further and bit even more scum and decide to tamper with the device I already had an experience with Amazon and a 15 Pro max where the device was 'lost in transit' and the driver seemed suspicious and had to wait almost an entire month to deal with this issue now I'm going into a week and from the companies end there is no compensation no nothing, my last hope is the device somehow arrives like normal clearly unboxed without being tampered with, it's the only reason why this is not a 1 star review. Unacceptable.

Update: I had to take measures and ensure that courier would deliver as there was no way in my situation I'd be able to wait until Monday and thus did receive my item the following day. Thank fully the device was intact and nothing out of the ordinary and now I'm enjoying my device, customer service was also very helpful and fast to respond during this time, so in this occasion I'd have to say it's a 1.5/5 for the courier and a 4/5 for the support, device and also the offering of a year extra of warranty is great.

Better than ordering directly from Apple.

KRCS were the only seller of new Apple products I could find that were selling the new M4 Max Mac Studio with a discount. I ordered the base spec model, and was kept up to date throughout the shipping process with several emails. The item was sent for next day delivery and I was provided a tracking number. The mac was delivered the following morning, less than 24 hours after I placed the order!

I discovered KRCS were also the only company stocking a higher spec configuration of the same product (one I preferred but Apple had a 3 week wait for so didn’t expect KRCS to actually stock it).

I called their customer service line and spoke to Henry who was extremely helpful, he said if I could return our base model to head office that day he could help arrange the additional payment and delivery the following day for the new model.

Very pleased, I will definitely be using KRCS again for any future mac purchases.

Helpful and Honest Place

Bought my phone from the branch in Derby.
Both lads on the desk were incredibly helpful, very honest with their opinions and helped me choose which phone was best.
They both took their time to help and didn’t rush me with any decisions.
Delivery was super quick, bought the phone Friday and was delivered the Tuesday after.
Very happy with the service provided!
