I would rate 3.7/8- 4 stars.
Each interaction I have had with a worker has been pleasant. Kind, knowledgeable, and informative. The reason for the lower rating has to do with being able to access a representative. Although the reps are kind and helpful, I can only speak to them through chat, unless I pay $9.95 for a callback
The concern with that is that you if you leave that screen and go to some or hint else on your phone like a different internet tab or app, there is no notification that a rep has entered the chat and if too much time passes, and understandably so, the rep will close the chat. Same thing if you have an active chat going. There have been times where I have been waiting and have forgotten while waiting to be connected and/or during the chat and having to go to a different screen, and unless you are on the DreamHost site, there is no notification. So, if you get out of that window and forget to come back, the agent could close the chat due to inactivity and you’d have to start a new chat. As previously stated, there is a callback option, but depending on the plan you have (like the basic), you may have to pay at least $10 for a single callback, unless you have a higher plan that starts off with 3 free callbacks a month. They also have a ticket option which I am not too familiar with as I haven’t submitted a ticket, so I cannot say what kind of experience that is.
Other than the callback/chat situation the company itself isn’t too bad. Any time I have had to chat with a rep they have been kind and informative.

DreamHost Technical Support Provides Quick and Thorough Solution
DreamHost's support is truly top-tier. Their comprehensive documentation offers thorough, clear instructions that let me solve simple issues fast. More importantly, their technical team provides timely responses and doesn't hesitate to step in and directly correct issues when I need them to.
Live Chat is one of the worst service.
The support system used to be great, but now it is one of the worst system. The ticketing system takes ages to resolve a problem, as it doesn't have any relatime support. The chat system takes ages to get connected, we have to pause everything and have to look at the screen, till the agent connects, once they connect, we have to make reply a super fast, if not they just ruled out that we're not available.
I feel like they just wanted to have the help desk for sake of having that feature and they expect us not to use that.
But when you're purchaisng a new service, surprisingly the agents are available all the time and they can wait till our next question.

A bad plug-in jeopardized my WordPress…
A bad plug-in jeopardized my WordPress site and the tech support at DreamHost was able to deactivate it when I could not. I was able to take back control in the dashboard. Prompt reply over email in about one hour.

Issues Resolved Within a Couple of Hours
I had an issue with my hosted website after domain renewal. Something had gone wrong with the SQL and my site went offline. I tried some basic stuff and it didn’t resolve so I logged a ticket. Within 2 hours an agent had emailed me to advise what they had done to resolve. My website was back up and working perfectly. Very happy customer.
I purchased a VPS hosting
I purchased a VPS hosting, regardless it has plenty of resources, it keeps returning unknown errors and timeouts. The best part, if you reach their support, ITS ALWAYS YOUR FAULT!!! but their service is always being cheap on resources. Avoid entering here so you don't have to work twice migrating elsewhere after
