My credit rating is not the best, and I had begun to give up hope of getting finance for a car, until I heard about Carplus.
My case handler was Azeez and he has been amazing from start to finish.
Nothing has been too much trouble. He has patiently answered my 1000’s of questions, and managed to find a company that would accept me. He has kept me updated every step of the way, and today I collected my new car.

My second time using Car Plus has been another wonderful experience. Even when we’ve had issues with the car dealer the staff are always there to help. A special thanks to Zubair.
Poor english and manipulative from the 1st call.
Dealt with a man called Tony.
Issues arose early on.
Qouted me a lower rate and then the day before mentioned the actual apr and my interest went from 12.9 to 14.7. Not to mention the 1st deal he offered me, I said was no good and he instantly replied and said another lne has came through. Really Tony? I know your job is to get your customer to pay as much as possible to earn as much commission as possible but cmon man. Don't make it so obvious.
Poor english was also a major issue. He told me I needed to make sure they were fca approved. A little sinister to tell me that. I also had issues throughout the process due to poor english.
Sounds like carplus hires anyone and they all just work from home.
The whole process was a nightmare with him springing up requirements from the finance company the day before I was due to collect the car.
Avoid if you can. These people can't be trusted.
I will also be sending a complaint to the financial ombudsman along with a direct complaint to carplus.

Danny's customer service was great. Managed to sort me out really quick.
I needed a van ASAP. The van i wanted wouldn't have been ready on my short notice. However, i was offered something else at a slightly higher price. In all fairness it came with a lot more spec then the van i originally wanted so i was happy to go ahead.
I'm very happy with my decision as heated seats, wing mirrors and front windscreen are a delight right now😊

Application process - simple.
When it comes to buying the car - another story.
I accepted a recommended car which was found by Alan. I agreed delivery with the dealership due to distance, the dealership then put the car through a full service and MOT which came back clean for 4 years running.
Initially, I was (fraudulently) made by Alan to sign the finance paperwork to state I had seen/test driven the car so that funds were transferred into CarPlus account. Alan then refused to transfer the funds to the dealership even after 3 days because "more paperwork was needed" which the dealership was confused about. It turns out he wanted 2 photos of me with the car and then to testdrive the car as "a fault may appear in 2 weeks". A fault will show regardless of being test driven or not, then I'm allowed to 'collect' the car. I reiterated it's being delivered which Alan disproved of. No where in the contract does it mention needing photos. He completely ignored when I asked why was it okay for him to rush me into signing the lenders papers to say I'd seen the car if he was not not able to do the same.
I contacted the lender and they were appalled that the funds were withheld and weren't sent over to the dealership immediately to release the vehicle for delivery, as my contract had already started. They instantly put in a cancellation request giving them the option of transferring funds to the dealership ASAP or returning the funds back to them to end the agreement. Alan then handed me over to another person (no idea what his name was) he tried to find a solution (covering cost of travel etc) then proceeded to say if I cancel the agreement, I won't be able to get finance again with the lender due to my credit profile (trying to keep me in the deal so commission is paid), he then told the dealership I cancelled the finance (when this wasn't confirmed). So I officially cancelled the agreement with CarPlus.
Funds have not yet been returned to lender.
And guess what, the lender have approved me independently!

Samad went above and beyond for us, I will be recommending this company to everyone!
After having a previous difficult situation that affected our credit (job loss/maternity leave) and our balloon payment imminent, Samad took the time to speak to us personally and understand our situation fully. We had been declined many times, even by our current finance company (even though we were making payments on time) so it was becoming quite stressful and looking like we could be left without a car, which is also very stressful as I have to drive for my current job. Samad went above and beyond to help us find someone and kept in constant contact with updates, I could not be more grateful. Our situation has improved but the previous issues have left marks on our credit that make us look bad to lenders, however we were paying finance already and had done for 7 years+. It was becoming disheartening that we were being rejected without being able to fully explain what had happened and they we were both back in stable jobs, until we found Samad. We are also a family with children and I honestly cannot thank him enough for the support he gave with finding someone and ensured everything was completed for us, so I really didn’t have to do a lot myself also. It resulted in a refinance which is actually better suited to us because it meant that it skipped all the mess around of changing insurance etc too. We will be recommending this company to everyone! I really can’t thank you enough Samad!!

A very stressful and poorly handled experience
My experience with Carplus was extremely stressful. Communication was often unclear and contradictory, and I was repeatedly promised updates and payment to the dealer that didn’t happen. This caused weeks of delays and a lot of unnecessary anxiety for my family.
My first finance payment was even taken before the dealer received any money, and despite asking for written communication only, I continued receiving calls. The situation only got resolved after escalating the issue to management.
I do not feel the service I received was professional or supportive, and I am now having to pursue a formal complaint.
