Bought a tv on a Saturday which the sales assistant told me would arrive on the Tuesday and I would get a call. No sign so had to call on Wednesday 6 times no answer from shop. Called in in person to be told the tv was not in stock and they had no idea when it would be again.
To their credit gave a full refund that will take 5 days to process, but utter waste of time overall. Will go elsewhere in future

We were told that the TV would be ready to collect within 48 hours (we ordered it on the 1st of December). We had to chase Harvey Norman Rathfarnham and were told it would be there on Thursday night (the 4th). We arrived up there and the TV wasn't there, it was given to another customer. This was disruptive as we has organised for a TV installer to come on the 5th. We eventually got the TV on the 6th

We bought approximately six electrical appliances from Harvey Norman during our recent house renovation, including a €1,000 Neff oven. It was purchased in October and only started being used three weeks ago. From the very first uses, every time the oven reaches a certain temperature it trips the electricity in our home, making it completely unsafe and unusable.
We contacted the Naas branch immediately. They arranged for Neff to inspect it, but Neff said they cannot guarantee a repair before Christmas and also advised that if the oven has to be replaced, they will not cover the installation — meaning we’d have to pay an electrician out of our own pocket for a product that is almost new.
Neff clearly stated that, given the oven is only two months old and barely used, Harvey Norman should provide a replacement. When I relayed this back to Harvey Norman Naas, I was told they would only replace it if I could supply a letter from Neff approving the replacement. This is completely unreasonable, and Neff themselves confirmed they do not issue these types of letters.
For a retailer of this size and for an appliance at this price point, the lack of ownership and responsibility is shocking. Instead of standing over the product they sold, I’ve been left chasing between the retailer and the manufacturer with no solution in sight. I’ve also contacted Harvey Norman customer service, only to be redirected back to the same branch with no progress.
At this stage, I’m left with a dangerous, unusable oven in my home in the run-up to Christmas and am being pushed towards seeking legal advice just to get a working appliance.
All of this could be solved very simply: replace the faulty oven and take back the defective one. Unfortunately, common sense and customer service seem to be completely missing here.

I can't give you any feedback as I have had nothing but a confirmation of my order. No delivery updates. No indication of when I can expect my tumble dryer and still no delivery 10 days after ordering.
I won't be ordering from Harvey Norman again any time soon. There are plenty of competing stores that will provide better service.

I logged a query looking for VAT invoice on 4th December and someone should have been in touch within 24 hours but I still have heard nothing nearly 4 days later. I understand during busy times that it may take longer but automatic reply does not state this.
