My website takes too long to load
My website takes too long to load. Even logging in to update my page takes 2 to 3 minutes and moving from page t page takes the same amount of time or more. The customer service rep advised that they had refreshed my site settings but because I was on a shared server they could not see what the problem was. I have been with Strato for about 3 years now and never had a problem but sadly I have to start looking for another service provider. Getting client's complaints that my site just isn't working is hurting my business. This just is not working for me anymore.

Cancelation issues
Signed up for a website ecommerce site. Found that it was very limited and could not offer the functionality I needed, spoke tk their support and they agreed. Canceled all packages. Now suddenly I still get billed ? Can't seriously expect me to pay for a service that we discussed is not usable.

I am trying as we speak to reach someone from strato as i cannot log in to my professional email. I am
on the line with two phones. With one 1 hour and 15 minutes, another phone, 24 minutes. No one replies, no information how long will it take. After 1 hour and 15 minutes i get someone on the line who tells me the person who could help me is not in today. Really? And then the phone gets disconnected. I am flabbergasted. I cannot work as I lost password and no one can help me…

Ooof, where can I start. Beyond the fact that they don't have any support beyond 9-5 and only by phone (no ticketing, no email) - the UX of their site is dismally unclear and sad - and the main navigation changes depending on where you click. Information glitches to show up on screen for less than one second and disappears.
Beyond this, they sold me a domain that is taken. There was zero clarity provided anywhere and I had to call the number to find this out. I cancelled the moment I realised - but what a waste of time.
Anyone who thinks this is good service has really low expectations.
Just avoid. At all costs. Don't say you weren't warned.

DO NOT PROVIDE PAYMENT DETAILS
I wanted to register a domain. The check upfront said it was available. After supplying payment details, and creating an account I was notified that the domain was unavailable and I had to pick another one.
This is a scam to make people register and provide payment details, only to not deliver on products. If the check were actually properly executed, and the domain was unavailable, I would have never created an account or given credit card details. These were gathered under false pretences.

Bad services they keep sending…
Bad services they keep sending collecting companies to get paid. Even when i used the free trial you are stuck in a subscription for months even if you cancel the subscription they follow you and keep sending them.

Strato is a good choice
Strato is a good choice. When you make an account with them and purchase your domain, you are not left alone. They come back to you and offer you the support which might suit your needs the best.
Their offers are professional and price-competitive compared to the other suppliers.
Worthless
Completely worthless. Very bad website with inadequate settings. They make things difficult to continue using their services, such as their email service. Called customer support, which was rude, unpleasant, and unhelpful as soon as I mentioned wanting to use a different email provider than their own. Will cancel membership and never use again. Almost feels like fraud to me. Disgusting.

I had a problem with my package
I had a problem with my package. And tried to solve it more than 10 days talking to different customer support specialists, no one actually helped me. And then i called again and i spoke with miss kamenie. She was so professional, listened and helped me to solve my problem. Best Customer Service representative. She called me beck as promised and made sure that everything is resolved. She was very professionally. And I am very grateful for her help. So 5 star is not for Strato but more for her and the work she did.
worst ever in my career
I wasnt able to set NS record after 1 month of trying with support. Now they are pain in ass to transfer my domains. i have newer before been so disappointed

Customer service sucks
Please put some more logical people at the customer service. There is this woman working and every time i get her on the phone i'm already annoyed by how slow she is. Think she is working at the wrong business sorry not sorry.
