Very competitive price saving me almost £100 from my previous insurer and Ethel breakdown cover thrown in. Simple and quick process to apply with good and prompt customer service to confirm details, acceptance and the other important bit I would need in the future. All round a good experience.
Two weeks ago I wrote a review through trust pilot regarding the poor and disgusting Customer Service when I asked to cancel my policy after very long years with them . I received email with a complaint ref number which is appropriate it. Then I have been told the member of the management will call you within 72 hours for more details. Then I received call the following day regarding this issue , he apologised for the poor service I received also he was nice talking then he promise me to send my No Claim Discount by post as I required, also ask me if I am happy with this solution I answered yes so he said can we close your complaint please then I answered yes but I didn’t realised he’s absolutely lier and haven’t received anything from Esure until this minute, by low I have got the right to have my No Claim Discount after I leave the company. If I am not going to receive it within 72 hours I will go further action

Where do I start.............Had a car park shunt. My fault 100%. Registered the accident and sent the 3rd party the reference number so there was no waiting around for him. Then onto my claim which is where the problems began.
I sent photos as requested and recieved notification within an hour to say my car was repairable.
They then notified me of their repair specialist (didn't give me an option of more than one). I checked their repair speialist only to find poor reviews so requested I find an independant specialist. I was told by esure that this would cost an additional £200 on my excess.
After speaking to motorguru they informed me this was in fact illegal so I contested it and raised a complaint. After approx 1 week Esure agreed to waiver the additional £200.
The following day I recieved a call from Esure to arrange a visit from their engineer as they decided the car had now been deemed a write off, even though we hadn't even provided an independant quote at this stage.
I told the customer services rep that they would NOT be removing the car from my property. The rep promised me she'd call back before close of business and guess what...........she didn't call. I waited two weeks watching tumbleweed rolling deciding to take the car to the repair specialist for a quote as I'd heard nothing from Esure. The repair specialist provided the quote and Esure finally gave authorisation for the repair to be done. However, yesterday I got a call from the garage to say Esure had again set the excess at £700 so this morning I spent 5 minutes going through a ridiculous automated system until I go through to a person. She then had to track down the confirmation that they'd waivered the £200 which they shouldn't have been charging me in the first place.
Eusre, I didn't think anyone could be as bad as Admiral insurance but you've matched them hands down for incompetance and poor customer service!

Easy to use. Good value. Only problem was in trying to change address for credit card. Would not bring up addresses for postcode on my PC.

The actual buying of this car insurance was simple & easy. However, whether or not "esure" will be great providers, only time will tell. I'll look forward to reviewing them at renewal!

All ok setting up car insurance.
But if you don't get everything correct in setting up, you are charged for every change individually which is a costly issue 🤔

A bit expensive but a good policy and they did what I wanted with the named drivers

Very rude support, stupid policy details to get more money from you even after cancelling and being told. Wouldn't come back. Hard suggest not to use.
