I've been using Concur for over 10…

I've been using Concur for over 10 years and it is the worst expensing platform. Whenever I send receipts via email they say "processed" then just disappear. The UX has always been terrible and will continue to be terrible. Doing expense reports is my least favorite thing to do in my current role, and Concur just makes it that much more terrible.

Dieses ist das schlechteste Programm welches ich jemals in meinem Leben bedienen musste. Unuebersichtlich, es wird einem Zeugs aufgezwungen, mehrmals muss man Schritte wiederholen, man braucht fuer eine Reisekostenabrechnung fast solange wie die ganze Reise ingesamt gedauert hat. Ich bekomme Bluthochdruck jedes Mal wenn ich diesen Mist benutzen muss

One star is too much we have to not…

One star is too much we have to not just complain. We have to start reporting them to the Better Business Bureau so companies become culpable for turning their expense management over to Such a poorly managed tool.

I will find all the necessary information and links and post them here. This is already a small portion of people that are frustrated enough that they are willing to take action.

Very agressive acquisition

Very agressive acquisition with mail and calls. I didn’t ask for any information, they were just using LinkedIn data. I had to be very angry to let them stop annoying me. With this in mind I will never think of doing business with them. (Netherlands branche)

Expense reports take hours to complete

Very nit-picky system that wants every little detail of your trip. Nothing in place for an extended summer research trip. My most recent trip has now taken 12 hours to complete on concur -- our Accounts Payable people are having trouble reading what we submit. When I want to view an uploaded receipt, instead of showing it to me on my browser, the system downloads it.

I also wonder if this company is selling our data.

What used to be a 1 to 1.5 hour exercise has turned into a multi-day dance of explaining things such as "I needed to take a taxi from Detroit airport to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor because it is too long to walk."

There is no good reason to use the SAP Concur system.

Concur is a horrible software

Concur is a horrible software. Please don't use it for your company. They do not resolve any issues. Then somehow their system would change out an invoice that was already processed. This happened to many times. We had a vendor set for "ACH", when I checked the payment status it was set to "client pay". So now the vendor has to wait another week to get paid. Once a invoice is processed, it takes a week for the vendor to receive their payment. Horrible, I wish they had 0 stars.

No Group Travel

This platform acts like corporate group travel is not a thing! How is there no way to manage an event? No guest policies? No reporting? Seriously, in 2025 how is there just no event tools present in this booking tool.

King of incompetence

Why are businesses still hiring this third class software? can sap concur just hire good PMs to make it simple interface? why does it take an einstein level iq for me to know whether my flight has check in baggage or not?SAP concur people if u r reading this, why are you so incompetent?

Poor

They seem to have a monopoly on global business travel so I guess they don't really care. I find their customer service beyond appalling , their pricing high and their options limited. Why corporations are using them is beyond me.

If it could be zero stars it would be. This company is the ABSOLUTE WORST. I have never had a worse customer service experience in my life than working with this. Specifically Cole Graham, Tyler Nuquay, and Andrew Hops team, our company tried over and over to get clear communication and maximize our usage of Concur. Not only did they never do their due diligence when we had questions or needed certain components to move forward, and constantly were just trying to upsell us. DO NOT DO IT! They are NOT the leading expense platform anymore purely on their terrible technology and service along.

Unprofessional

Unprofessional, hostile, rude, condescending, useless, they do not care, zero empathy, they don't bother reading your messages or even try to understand your concerns. Takes more of your time than it saves time. They never come up with a solution, only try to sell you an upgrade to something that doesn't work. You'll go around and around in circles with support team. You are being passed around like a hot potato. It took more than a year to implement and in the end we abandoned the project. An alternate supplier did it in a couple of days. The executive are a bunch of children and the project manager doesn't know what he's doing. Biggest shit show I've seen in my career.
