Parcelforce is a joke!
I don’t have a problem with Royal Mail it’s the parcelforce side of the buisness that’s the problem. Constantly carding me when I’m in and even when not in not following any form of instruction about how to deliver the parcel. Even tried to deliver to local post office for collection and they completely ignored my request even though I got an email confirming it! Would never ever use them again!
Horrendous service..24 HR delivery.
Horrendous service..24 HR delivery.. Still waiting 9 days later.. Had redirected to local post office.. Apparently no one in at 1141 on a Saturday morning...wtf.
Royal Mail tracked 24 - still in transit!
I sent a letter by tracked 24 last Friday (3 October). It was delivered the same day to our local MC and then overnight to the North West Midlands MC where it is still apparently in transit - 7 days after posting. Very disappointing. It remains to be seen whether it will be delivered eventually.
Zero ability to provide customer service.
This company cares not one jot about its customers and my latest experience illustrates all you need to know.
A parcel was sent to me using their Parcelforce Express 24 service (what a joke). Just so you all know it's real, the tracking number was PBPV711099001. It was out for delivery today.
As I wasn't going to be at home, I put a note on my front door which read "Royal Mail Parcel Delivery? - Please, please, please take it to the College Road Post Office (which is just round the corner) TODAY as we are desperate for it. Thanks, Tim"
I got a notification that the parcel was delivered at 3:29pm and a photograph of the parcel on a counter. However, they don't even tell you the name of the driver, just that it was delivered by "Bristol PFW Depot"
I went to the Post Office, but they didn't have it. The lady there and me worked out that it appeared to have been delivered to the Black Horse Pub on Frome Road, as we both recognised the counter top beer mat (see image on tracking info) So, I visited there as well and although they had had deliveries that afternoon at around the time mine was supposed to have been delivered, there was no sign of it.
Then began the impossible task of trying to find a customer service number to call. I eventually managed that (against all odds) and called them. I was on hold for a staggering 1 hour 25 minutes before I was told by an automated voice that they were now closed and to call back tomorrow!!!! It then cut me off. I will be taking note of how much that call cost when my bill comes in and Royal Mail WILL be paying for it. For 1 and a half hours I had to listen to their infuriating music and their constant robotic apologies that I was on hold and that they would answer as soon as possible. Throughout that ordeal, they didn't ask me if I wanted a call back and at no time did they tell me what my position was in the queue. This is frankly a disgrace. The sender had used their '24 hour service' because he knew how urgently I needed the repaired tool in the parcel. So he has paid for a service which Parcelforce have failed to deliver.
I have no idea now where my parcel is at all because it seems there is no way to contact them.
This organisation does not deserve to be in business and certainly is not worthy of their use of the word 'Royal' in their name.
So where is my parcel? I have absolutely no idea and I doubt they have any idea either.
I do now have a question for them.....How can it have been delivered, yet is out for redelivery tomorrow??
Unreliable service !
The Royal Mail can no longer be relied upon for parcel delivery ,sadly . Their tracking service stated that my parcel had been delivered ,which was not the case. They either posted it through the wrong door or dumped it outside somewhere.
Terrible service was supposed to…
Terrible service was supposed to deliver a parcel between 10.15am to 12.15 pm now 15.07 pm no parcel delivered went onto tracking states parcel pending address was inaccessible deliver next working day ..Lies the apartment is accessible I have been in all day they never even buzzed my security buzzer to allow them into the building..Not the first time this has happened just a load of lazy workers who can't be bothered even getting out of there vans ..So just make up lies ..Royal mail a joke ..Needs new owners to tear it apart from the bottom to the top with mass sackings because all staff are useless from the ground up to the top ...Can't call this company a delivery service ..You can't even get through to speak to anybody ..
Royal falier
Royal mail is operating the worst postal service in the UK. it seems every time i send or receive a parcel or letter it arrives late with a message saying its been delayed. What are we paying for there 48 hour service is a lie . We aim to deliver on 48 hours but it can take longer then a week how can this possibly be a 48 hour service. I can say I will always choose another courier where possible the royal should be taken away from the name.
Sent a phone paid £10 they then lost…
Sent a phone paid £10 they then lost it. Filled all the paperwork for insurance over 7 weeks ago and heard nothing. Call up and extremely busy wait 50 minutes! No wonder because they are so useless and live off the kings name for their business.
Royal Mail are useless you pay more to…
Royal Mail are useless you pay more to get next day delivery of 48 hour delivery they do not keep to their word they don't take care of your parcels The company is atrocious no respect items arrived damage by far at the Worst delivery company going hopefully with the inbox posting the Royal Mail will go bankrupt
Would give it 0 stars if i could
Would give it 0 stars if i could. Spent three days waiting in (that i had to take off work) for the driver to not even attempt delivery (there are a few steps going up to my door), then lie and say there was no-one in. The third day they even had the cheek to say i had refused the delivery and so returned the package to the sender. Spent hours and hours on hold waiting for customer services as well. Absolute joke of a firm, no wonder less people are sending stuff with them nowadays. Wouldn't trust them to take my rubbish to the wheelie bin.
Absolutely useless tracking number…
Absolutely useless tracking number useless and my birthday
Rude delivery guy
Currently residing in Belmont. The delivery guy was so rude, shouted at me and even insulted as I did not hear his knock. I politely told him that there was a door bell in which he can use but he shouted “you should clean your ears.” He was an old man with heavy accent and was driving a red van PEUGEOT with plate number KR74GFJ. I did not bother to take my parcel as he was volatile and aggressive.
Plymouth north customer service Johnathan
My husband passed recently, and he had a very special teddy bear, very sentimental, my daughter lost her rabbit Mr Snuffles a few days ago, so I thought I'd send Harvey my husbands teddy down from Cumbria to Plymouth, special delivery, they attempted to deliver, but unlucky, when I tryed to redelivery,on line, her postcode, didn't match, i posted it in Harrington post office, they obviously got it wrong.
I phoned up customer services Plymouth north and spoke to a man called Johnathan, he could hear I was really upset, he was kind professional, and had so much empathy, just a really kind man, he escalated it for me, although my daughter still hasn't got Harvey, she should be able to pick him up by Friday. Plymouth north
Johnathan went above and beyond, and made me feel listen to,
Poor Excuses…
I live on the Isle of Wight and have just made a complaint regards the infrequency of my mail deliveries. I receive mail approx once a fortnight. Mail such as credit card bills are arriving after the pay by date and costing us money. Hospital appointments are also arriving after the appointment date. I was informed that the problem was due to a shortage of staff. I was also informed that I can go and collect my mail from the post office myself. I'm disabled and my wife is also unwell so that not only isn't practical but what's the point in having a royal mail service if I have to collect it. In my opinion the Royal Mail isn't fit for purpose
No customer service
No customer service online, 60 minute wait time if you manage to get through automated phone lines.
Awful company
I have had an email from Parcelforce saying my parcel has been delivered. It has not. They provided a photo which appears to be a dark room with a light glowing in it. There is no way of speaking to a representative to complain. Expected better of Royal mail.
Very disappointed with the recorded…
Very disappointed with the recorded delivery service.
I had a very important, time critical letter to be sent, and so arranged recorded delivery , which got lost. I tried a second time and that also got lost, consequently I missed my deadline date, which will have a financial impact to me.
PARCELFORCE FALSIFYING DELIVERIES
This disgrace of a parcel carrier completely lied stating that they attempted to deliver 2 days in a row and after viewing my cctv nobody came to my address complete waste of space,
no wonder they get 1 star trustpiilot should do minus stars royal mail would win hands down
I was expecting a delivery of a SIM…
I was expecting a delivery of a SIM card from ID Mobile today 6th October 2025. Yesterday both Royal Mail and ID Mobile sent me emails to let me be aware that the SIM would be delivered today. I cancelled all appointments scheduled for today because I had terminated my service with another mobile company. I had no other way to contact people except using my landline. It was imperative for me that I receive the SIM CARD
At 16:00 I received this message which annoyed me immensely:
"Sorry, we were unable to deliver this item at 06-10-2025 as the address was inaccessible. We will attempt to deliver your item again on the next working day.
Update delivery options
Access issues prevented us from delivering this item. This could be due to a number of reasons, including locked communal entrances, bad weather, health and safety issues or road closures."
This was not only nonsense and a complete LIE. I was in all day. I had also taken the precaution to put a notice on my door that read:
06-10-2025
ROYAL MAIL
OPEN FROM DOOR
&
RING INNER DOOR BELL
Thank you
Secondly from 14:00 to 16:00 I was working in my front garden.
I'm writing this review because this is the second time Royal Mail have failed to deliver on time. Last week they failed to deliver the mobile handset that I had bought.
This is atrocious service. Royal Mail is no longer as reliable as it used to be. I do not know if the acquisition by the International Distribution Services is responsible for this reprehensible deterioration of service.
Certainly the worst of all delivery…
Certainly the worst of all delivery services. Deliveries simply do not arrive with this carrier on time.
Why companies still use this shower is beyond me.
