I paid £100 for an item the seller listed courier as DHL or Royal Mail that's good I thought. The seller actually used DHL eCommerce going by my previous experience my thoughts were oh no not these clowns again. Low and behold after using the tracking system a dark cloud started to form, the parcel had been collected at 06.31 on 7 Oct 2025 then on 8 Oct 2025 at 10.35 I'm greeted with "We're sorry but we do not appear to have received your consignment from the sender". Surely when items are collected they are scanned so they can be tracked. If your seller is going to use DHL eCommerce to ship your items think twice about the purchase.

Same happened 8th, 9th and 10th!!

Phone number automated and hangs up on you so could not find out what driver was playing at. Absolute mess! Stressful, a waste of time and unprofessional DO NOT USE

My delivery was 2 hours late. The driver made no apology. Why can't you update me on when it will be delivered so I don't have to wait in for 4 hours!?
This isn't the first time this has happened. I get that traffic and things change but surely you can update the customer using your systems.

God help you if you were ever missed your delivery. First they dont inform you they are coming. Website is rubbish, lacks information. you cant rebook delivery. the parcel just goes straght back to their warehouse and then if you dont collect, back to the sender. My PC from Dell has been back and forth twice. And as for speaking to an actual human being, forget it.

I have had same problem as many on here. power supply from Dell 27Sep supposed to be out for delivery on Saturday 4oct but did not arrive by Tuesday I asked Dell to chase had a text on Tuesday 7oct to say they have the parcel and let me know when out for delivery ??

Please avoid this company like the plague. They are unreliable, dishonest and vitual uncontactable if you have problems with collections or deliveries.
Why on earth eBay continue to use them for large parcels is beyond belief.
Over 3 days of non collection of a parcel.Eventually after collection, after 1 week eBay contacted me to say the the parcel was lost in transit.
My buyer did get a refund, but now there is a very expensive item lost in some warehouse which allegedly will never be found.
This logistic company needs to have its trading licence revoked.

I ordered a package from B&Q, and unfortunately, DHL was used for the delivery — not by my choice, as I would never willingly use this company.
My delivery instructions clearly stated that the parcel should be left with my neighbour because I live on a main road and have had packages stolen in the past. Despite this, when I returned home, I found the package leaning against my front door. To make matters worse, DHL’s tracking system claimed the parcel had been handed directly to me, which was completely untrue.
The delivery was also delayed — it was supposed to arrive on Tuesday, but it didn’t, leaving people waiting in unnecessarily. The tracking system is poor, and the app is absolutely useless, offering no real-time updates or accurate information.
Thank goodness the parcel was still there when I got home, probably only because it was too heavy for anyone to steal. My neighbour, who had kindly stayed in to accept the delivery, was never contacted.
Altogether, a truly disappointing experience. DHL completely ignored delivery instructions, misrepresented the delivery status, and provided no reliable tracking. I would never use this company by choice.

Was given a time and date (Friday) for a driver to collect my parcel. No one turned up!
Driver had stated no one home.
No customer service answer over weekend.
On Monday took 29 mins for customer service to answer and was given new date for collection. Once again no driver turned up. Since then been unable to get through to customer service.
We have CCTV and an intercom that connect to my mobile so can state that the drivers lies when he said no one at home!!

Bought iPhone 17 Pro Max from Apple and they decided to send through DHL.
- Got a message from Apple and DHL that it will be delivered today 6th Oct Monday 2025 but driver didn't show up.
- Next day, got a message from DHL that it will be delivered on 7th Oct Tuesday 2025 but driver didn't show up.
- Next day, got a message from DHL that it will be delivered on 8th Oct Wednesday 2025 but driver didn't show up.
What frustrates me the most is that you can't contact DHL directly and speak with a human. There is only 1 number to contact which is automated (doesn't work most of the time) and reads pretty much what shows on the website.
Why would anyone use this terrible company?
My one experience with this company has been a complete nightmare.
My experience started with an overdue delivery of frozen petfood which, due being in transit for days, was thawed out and no longer usable.
The first contact from DHL was an email advising they had tried to deliver on the expected day but no-one was home, which was demonstrably a lie easily shown by security camera recording. Their photograph of the package at my house 'proving' their attempted delivery was, in fact a completely unrecognisable house - certainly not mine.
Trying to contact someone at DHL has proved impossible, their automated system severely limits options to get through to a human.
My delivery arrived late with spoiled contents, since when I have spent wasted hours endeavouring, without any success, to get through to someone to speak with at DHL. When I did get through to a human I was repeatedly shunted from place to place under the guise of 'wrong person', until I invariably ended up back on the automated telephone system, none of whose options fitted my simple need to register a complaint.
Keep clear! They are liars, incompetent and evasive.

DHL collected parcel from us however they also picked up 2 parcels due for collection by another company!How the driver was able to scan them as they were not for DHL I do not know.
The original parcel has now been delivered to the correct address as requested along with my 2 other parcels which are tyres -DHL don't even deliver tyres - .I did a bot chat & then a chat with a real person as after 20 phone calls & numerous emails I could not get hold of anyone to explain the problem .
On the chat I asked for my tyres to be returned to my company & reimbursement of my postage costs .This was agreed on the chat ,which luckily I download.But no one has contacted me from DHL,my customers need the tyres & the customer address where they are now wants them moved asap!
I cannot believe that I am unable to talk to someone about this issue ,DHL customer service is non existent.And in theory DHL have stolen the tyres.

I recently ordererd a meta quest vr headset for my granddaughter. At the time of order a note was added to say that due to my property beinga key entry only the driver would need to phone me when they arrived. However the absolute morons couldn't be bothererd to do this despite having text me to say they were on the way. Instead of following delivery instructions they threw a £469.00 item over a fence and had the brass neck to say they i had signed for the parcel despite not being home at the time as they were early. Contacted dhl who promised to contact me the next day with an explanation for the sheer incompetance of obvious illiterate employees and still waiting. DO NOT USE THIIS COWBOY COMPANY IF YOU ARE WANTING ITEMS DELIVERERD IN ONE PIECE. Would give them zero stars but you can't

Being generous and giving 2 stars as at least the parcel arrived.
Ordered a laptop (31445853034423) and tracking showed delivery today though with no time slot. Eventually website said had been delivered about an hour previously but no parcel received or any knock on the door. Our address is a small apartment block and the laptop was found in the hall by the main entrance where anyone could have picked it up. No attempt to take to the correct apartment where we were waiting for it. Pretty poor really.

My Premier 48 shipment was collected from me last Monday (29th September), and should have been delivered on Wednesday 1st October. However, on the 1st, there was a notice on the tracking page to say that it had been delayed, and would be delivered the next working day (2nd).
By Saturday (4th), it still had not been delivered, and the tracking had not updated.
I contacted customer service, using the phone number both on the web page, plus in DHL's Complaints Process Charter, only to be told by the automated bot that the parcel has been delayed, to check the tracking page, and contact the sender.
I *am* the sender, and the CS-bot only told me what I already knew. Completely not useful, especially given that I, as the sender, am not able to glean any more information than were I the recipient, so why is it even programmed to suggest that?
I returned to the DHL e-commerce website, and discovered that the opportunity to reschedule delivery had appeared, so I rescheduled for Monday 6th October.
As of today (8th) that delivery still has not taken place, and again, the tracking has not updated since Saturday when I rescheduled.
I tried for several days to send a message to DHL's customer service via the web form but the 'submit' button was disabled. Every day, I tried every hour or so, and then yesterday (7th) it finally worked. I received an email, acknowledging receipt, and stating that they would be in touch within 24 hours.
Needless to say, I have heard nothing.
Everything I have experienced with DHL so far has been completely the opposite of what their Complaints Process Charter says. In fact, the whole document reads like complete fantasy. You can find it on the DHL eCommerce website by clicking on the Customer Service link.
I actually find DHL's lack of professionalism and care utterly shocking, and completely morally bankrupt. And because they have made it impossible to contact them, I have no way of knowing whether my parcel has been stolen, damaged, lost, or simply delayed for reasons known only to themselves. If I ran my business like this, I wouldn't even have a business any more.
A truly disgraceful service on every level. This is the first time I have used DHL. It will be my last. I am now going to contact the Ombusdman in an attempt to resolve the issue and claim compensation - something else I am not able to do via DHL itself. I am not sure that it's even legal to not provide this option.
In short, I do not recommend this company at all, and my advice would be to avoid at all costs.
