On Friday the 22nd of August I was in all day ready to receive a package. Tracking showed out for delivery, and at approximately 4 O clock On screen delivery failed recipient not in. I contacted the sender on Monday, and was told DHL in Palmones had the package in storage. I called the service pion to day Friday the 29th of August, and was told the package was too big to deliver, and they would take half a hour locate it, and sign a piece of paper, and go for a coffee.
I came back, and was told the package had been sent back on the Wednesday. I asked for the paper I had signed, and they refused saying they had shredded it. This is totally suspicious. The way they reacted it seems some one has stolen it. I will see if it is returned to the sender, if not I will get in touch with the Junta arbitral DE Transporte. Regards P. Lister.
DO not use DLH
DO not use DLH! They are lasy and do NOT delivery to your home. Instead we have to go to a pick-up store. They do also lie, saying nobody is at home,but it in our case never the case, as we have home office and grand mother cannot leave home...
Broken goods and Lies
Well where to start. My last two packages arrived smashed to pieces after being kicked and stood on. I have photos. The package I am waiting for has been delayed twice. Twice the company lied. Firstly I have had no contact from DHl despite them claiming they agreed delivery with me for today. Secondly on two separate searches I find they have delayed the delivery for today and another DHL web page says I was not in. Well Mercadona, MRW and Correos found me in today. I accuse DHL Jaen and or their driver for Castillo De Locubin of falsifying their records to avoid delivering my goods and of mal treating the goods leading to their complete destruction. I doubt this delivery will arrive intact if at all. Have they
no internal audit or control of these employees. Item did arrive ,later and surprisingly was intact.

Simply the worst courier in Spain. Never ever deliver on the day they say they will. I will now stop using companies who use this useless company
DHL Should Not Be Allowed to Operate!
DHL marked my package as “not at home” even though I was home all day and redirected it to a pickup point with no option for redelivery. Amazon support only offered a €10 compensation, but the main issue was not solved at all. This is a serious problem, and people should report it to Amazon. DHL should not be allowed to operate this way. If you face the same issue, contact Amazon Customer Support and mention the same issue. Maybe this way they will pay attention and ban them.
Fraudsters
Fraudsters! DHL makes no attempt to deliver. They did not visit the apartment. I was in the apartment each time and they did not come. Also they never phoned me. DHL takes the stuff straight to the pickup point as it it quicker and cheaper for them, then you get an email saying they tried to deliver and there was a problem, unspecified. This is the fifth time the same thing has happened. No other courier has any problem.
Customer service or lack of
I received an email at 15.07 on 28/07/2025 to say my delivery was out for delivery. At 16.53 I received a phone call I said hello and the caller hung up I immediately went outside just in case it was the delivery but there was no vehicle in sight. I later checked the tracking information and it showed that the driver had tried to deliver which he didn't as we have a buzzer on the gate. It also said we had been informed but if you call being informed a 4 second phone call in which I only had time to say hello before the caller hung up? They have come back to me and told me I have to collect my package from Malaga which is a 35 minute drive each way as they will not re-deliver. Even though there driver obviously made no attempt to deliver in the first place. Absolutely rubbish service.
They lost my package
They lost my package. I honestly have no words… this is the worst service I’ve ever experienced.
On July 30, I received a message saying they attempted delivery but no one was home. Since then - nothing. No updates, no second delivery attempt, no instructions on where to pick it up. The status hasn’t changed in over a week…

I have the same negative experience as so many people here. There was no attempt to deliver, then tracking first stated my package was left at a service point 10km away, then fraudulently marked as delivered.
I have never see a company with only 1 star reviews. Truly DHL Spain need to be shut down and investigated.

I’m extremely disappointed with DHL Spain. My package was marked as “delivered,” yet I never received it. I’ve checked with neighbours and around the property—nothing.
What’s worse is the complete lack of customer service. No one seems willing or able to help. Trying to get a clear answer or even speak to a real person is next to impossible. I’ve opened a case, but days later, there’s still no update, no investigation, and no accountability.
How can a company this big just lose a package, claim it’s delivered, and then offer no support at all?
This experience has completely destroyed my trust in DHL. I will avoid using them in the future and suggest others do the same until they sort out their delivery processes and customer care.

July 24 and July 25 DHL writes on their tracking website they have been at my home to deliver my parcel.

DHL’s customer service is a nightmare
DHL’s customer service is a nightmare — not only do they fail to deliver packages, but reaching their support is a painful experience. And then you find out they randomly dropped the parcel off at a pickup point without sending any notification. When you ask the support agent to send the details by email, they say it’s not possible. Please invest in a proper CRM system — if you can’t get deliveries right, at least make the communication smoother for everyone.
DHL have my new passport
DHL have my new passport. They have tried to deliver to the wrong address, asked for the apartment number- there are no apartments at my address and claimed they tried to deliver but i was out. That is a lie. I have contacted their UK offices, the local offices 4 times. That was a waste of time. I have asked them to call my spanish phone number on arrival. The result? My passport is sitting on hold in an office or perhaps being cloned.
Another 'failed' delivery while we were waiting at home
Waited in all day for a package (Mallorca), and have just had a message telling us the delivery failed. It only failed as they couldn't be bothered to deliver it. We are busy caterers, it is not possible for us to wait in for another day on the off chance that they deem it appropriate to deliver. BTW, this has happened multiple times with DHL, every time we been waiting at home. Reading some other reviews, it is clear that this is common practice. They have ONE job which is to deliver packages, it's very frustrating and disappointing
Failed to deliver - in all possible ways
Attempted delivery failed. Despite me being in the house, next to the door, all day long. Suspiciously the delivery wasn't possible around the end of the day clocking off time. Woeful.
