daylight robbery
ordered pizza rider arrived with food out of the box and floating around in a heap inside the bike top box. then tells me its fine its clean. refused the order even asked him if he would accept the order and he said no. did not give pin code.rider left quickly before i could photo the mess and then entered the code which i had not given. guessing he remebered from previous order or spied my screen. customer services no help refused refund due to no photo.

Made an order to come from Morrisons. Did not want any substitutes but they decided to send one. Rang 9 different numbers trying to stop this item as it clearly stated it was being prepared. In the end I couldn't stop it as amazing it was now out for delivery. Fed up this is not the first time I've had issues with Deliveroo. They cancelled my orders after changing the delivery times several times. Think its time to steer clear.

Deliveroo are trash
Papa Johns got our entire order wrong we got someone else's pizzas and were missing loads of items.
We made a complaint to Deliveroo and got 12 pound refund out of a 45 pound order and they said there's nothing more they can do. We are furious. Do not use them as they are useless. Stick with just eat and uber eats. You will get no help from Deliveroo

They pick up a pizza for delivery then go to pick up another order for delivery. Each time pizza is totally cold. I will not be using again. Very bad service.
What a fraud
What a fraud! Was on the customer service line and could not get a credit back of £15 from an order that was over 45 min late and the food was super cold. Do not order from this app they only give back a percentage of the order and they do not tell you the percentage as they are not allowed. I was given £2.77! What a joke!
Please just use just eat
Well where do I start ordered fast food with this company 👀there is the first joke took an hour to get here they tried to blame to restaurant saying it hadn't been made and a rider was waiting that was a like I'd spoken to the restaurant the food was say waiting to be collected when it was finally collected it was an hour and ten later it's was the same food that was made originally so fast food sat for an hour and ten minutes yum
I'm suggesting we all take our screenshots and start a case with trading standards force them to do the job correctly or shut down because at this point they are just robbing people I will start a Facebook page and post it once it's ready 🫡

Ordered 100 pound take away for a family treat, waited a couple of hours to be told they still have no rider to deliver.
Ended up getting a call from the restaurant to say id have to collect myself of cancel.
We were all hungry so went to collect,
Totally defeats the object of a delivery service.
All they offered was to refund me 48 pence for delivery!
A similar thing happened with just eat and I got a full refund!

Just ordered and recieved very nice food from a local restaurant. However they missed one item on the order. I called the restaurant and they said I needed to resolve with Deliveroo. I contacted them and they asked for proof of the order that I had order via the app! Then photos of the food that I had eaten as I wanted to eat it first whilst hot and then sort the missing item. Refused to give a refund of £3.50!
Fraudulent, disgraceful organisation... reporting them
Ordered a meal at lunch today (4th October).
Driver arrived with the drinks contents completely spilled out of their cups, dripping all over the road and path. To be fair the driver called his support team to see what to do, who informed him they would contact me.
They called me a few moments later and talked me through raising a ticket.
A few hours later I received email from Deliveroo stating they won't be making any refund or compensation due to lack of evidence. The phone call from the driver (who had to give his driver code), the phone call they then made to me and the picture of the destroyed bag in my sink (because it was dripping and oozing Coke Zero everywhere) were apparently not enough.
App deleted, I'm reporting Deliveroo. All they had to do is the right thing and refund the drinks but given the disgraceful customer service they've opened a whole new world of pain as I won't let it drop. Complaints made, freedom of information requests made which will cost them far more to process than the minor refund.
I strongly advise against using this company for deliveries
Misleading discount expiry date
Had a discount voucher, expiration 03/10/2025, place order on 03/10/2025, voucher expired! Asked Deliveroo to honour discount, got told it expired the day before? Despite raising a dispute, was advised that the discount can’t be honoured because it had expired?! How? There was no time of the expiration, just a date, my order was placed between 5-6pm. The explanation was a clear as mud to me! If it expired 02/10/2025, then advertise that!
There is a big problem with Deliveroo…
There is a big problem with Deliveroo Customer services. Deliveroo Customer services has ignored my correspondence when I asked for help (numerous times) until the voucher that I am asking for help with has then run out. The help that Deliveroo Customer services now offers, is to tell me that the reason that I cannot apply the voucher to my order is because the voucher has run out and was valid from the 24.09.2025 till 01.10.2025! Jovilyn on behalf of Deliveroo: If you bothered to check the first help request from myself, you would have seen that I asked for help to apply the voucher on 24.09.2025 and then AGAIN on 25.09.2025, where Deliveroo Customer services were sending generic responses about 'How to apply a discount to an order' and I requested 'further' assistance. There has been no help from Deliveroo Customer services in the time that the voucher was valid, and now your response is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, and your customer service is absolutely appalling. I would like a 'valid' voucher, in full working order, of an acceptable amount to be reapplied to my account.
Extremely terrible service
Service used to be great and they used to hire good and professional riders. Over the past period, their service has become terrible. I have personally had 2 riders mark orders as delivered without delivering them and i have had friends who have even been assualted by their riders. Their customer support is a joke and they do nothing about it. Terrible service.
Cold food on delivery
Cold food on delivery. The restaurant is only 5 minutes up the road so don’t understand why cold. I have a broken foot so would have picked up food myself if I could. Customer services is awful. They offered a 5% discount. I rejected it and deleted my account. Do not use this terrible service.

Shocking customer service. Didn't get my deliveroo plus gold, customer service has no idea how to fix it, sending me to different departments, forgetting about me on hold. Joke of a company
